My Mother moved into Flowers Manor a couple of months ago and I am delighted with her care. From day one, the management and staff have been excellent and given my mother the best care. She has improved mentally and physically in just two months of residency and is in fact better than she has been in a long time and all due to the fantastic care and attention she has received. She is very happy at Flowers and calls it her new home which is wonderful. I must also thank them all for their support to me and the family at a difficult time for us all. They took a lot of the stress away and continue to do so every day while caring for my mother. The home is a new build with the best facilities and so different from any of the other care homes I checked before choosing Flowers. It was the best decision I have made choosing Flowers and I know that mum is getting the best care and happy.

Kerrie has over 20 years’ experience in the care sector, working across a wide range of services including residential care, nursing, supported living, hostels, and outreach. She has a proven track record of transforming services, most notably turning a care home rated Inadequate in 2017 into an Outstanding setting within three years, demonstrating her strong leadership, regulatory expertise, and dedication to service improvement.
Recognised for her natural strengths and passion for compliance, Kerrie was promoted to Quality & Compliance Lead, where she oversaw audits, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Her extensive experience includes managing twelve services nationally, from Devon to Liverpool, supporting managers and teams to enhance standards and outcomes.
Originally from Devon, Kerrie has lived there most of her life before relocating in recent years. She served as Operations Manager for Domicillary Care, helping the service prepare for its first CQC inspection, which resulted in a Good rating. Her desire for more direct involvement with residents and care teams led her to secure the position of Care Manager here at Flowers Manor, where she continues to make a positive impact.
Kerrie holds a degree in English and Psychology and is currently learning Spanish. She is a dedicated mum to twin boys—one working for Devon & Cornwall Police, and the other with the British Antarctic Survey, managing the build of the new Discovery Building. Kerrie is married and lives on a smallholding in a beautiful farmhouse, where she and her family enjoy adopting dogs.
