First-rate care provided me with the perfect environment and facilities to 'rehab' after undergoing a total hip replacement on 15th May 2023. The day-to-day competence and high standards in every department gave me from day one the encouragement and confidence to concentrate solely on dealing with all the post-op therapies - and occasional complications. I walk out of here tomorrow using one stick - 18 days after surgery! Well done Flowers!

Two months ago, my parents moved from Staffordshire to Flowers Manor Care Home to be closer to family. The support and care from management and staff to our family during the transition period and over the last eight weeks has been exemplary. We have all been welcomed into the Flowers family with open arms; the dedicated management and staff are always smiling, uplifting and nothing is too much trouble.

Flowers Manor is an exceptional care home, my parents feel understood, safe and treasured. They are treated with kindness and dignity; their individual personalities and needs are embraced and they are encouraged to further their interests and hobbies in the numerous varied daily activities. Nothing is too much trouble for staff who work their magic every day to ensure my parents are happy, healthy and enjoying life. It is a pleasure to visit. Thank you Flowers!

Flowers Manor Care Home is a comfortable and happy environment with wonderfully caring staff.
Our mother’s stay was initially a trial, but after experiencing their support, companionship, fantastic activities and first class meals, it’s turned out to be the place she is now happiest.

The Flowers team has been there for our family too, providing reassurance and peace of mind, and are always friendly and accommodating of our visits. Flowers Manor is a special place that we are so thankful for.

Everyone at Flowers are always so happy whenever I go in, both residents and staff. My Mother-in-Law summed up the ethos completely the other day when we visited ‘You don’t have to visit me so often, I’m happy and I feel safe here. The staff are all lovely, I have lots of friends, there is always something to do and you can’t fault the food. As a family Flowers Manor has changed the quality of all our lives.

As a healthcare professional, I have never visited a home of the qualities and individuality that the home offers.

From the first time we walked into Flowers Manor Care Home, we were so impressed with the welcome we received, as we walked around, everywhere is so smart, clean and more like a high-standard hotel. Our auntie moved in after being on her own for so long, at first she found it hard to fit in and make friends but slowly, with the dedicated carers and staff, she has made many friends and is taking part in most daily activities. She is now enjoying her life to the full and we are so pleased to see her so happy and feel it's all down to an excellent manager and the staff. Which we are very great full for.

My aunt has been at Flowers Manor since August 2022. I am so happy that she now has a life full of friends and fun activities. Why struggle living on your own when you could be cared for in such a wonderful environment. The activities programme is five stars, she has her hair and nails done on a regular basis, and my aunt says the food is excellent. The manager and all her staff are so caring. I would not hesitate to recommend Flowers Manor and its staff to anyone.

Dad finally became a resident last Spring after several respite visits. We lost Mum in February 2022 and Dad was very lonely even with a live-in carer. He loves the social side of being there and he enjoys the company of everybody, both residents and staff, and it is good for us to know that he is safe and that there is 24-hour care at hand if needed. The food is very good and Dad really enjoys the activities, especially the singalongs. He has settled in well and calls his room his 'home'. There is no limit to the support that everyone provides at Flowers Manor.

My father has spent two weeks at Flowers and has been cared for with dignity and professionalism. All the staff have been very welcoming, from the receptionist to the manager, carers to cleaners and have learned quickly about Dad's needs - medical, physical and personal. I have been called promptly if he has had a fall or if they needed to ask a question. Dad has praised the staff and said the food has been excellent. His room was always clean and tidy, and the lounge/dining room was "like a hotel" (Dad's words"). Personally, I would like to say a massive thank you - knowing he was safe, comfortable and well cared for was incredibly reassuring. After his stay, all his belongings were returned safely, and many of his clothes were washed. Thank you, Flowers Manor - I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I have used Flowers Manor Care Home on a number of occasions for respite care for my Father. The first time he stayed at Flowers Manor were extremely proactive when I was let down by another care home to organise his care in matters of days. His latest stay was in November, during his stay he was unwell which meant he had to lengthen his stay they were extremely accommodating and caring. I would really recommend Flowers Manor to anybody looking for respite care.

Thank you to all at Flowers Manor for a lovely afternoon/evening to celebrate my father's birthday. It was great to be with him and my mother (who is also a resident) on this day. The wonderful staff on duty really pulled out all the stops .. and we know how busy they are, so really appreciate the effort they put in. The food was great, especially the cake, and setting out a table in the Garden Room was a lovely touch. It felt very special. It has been a very difficult few months for my father and we know there were times when he doubted he would ever get to be 85, but thanks to you he now feels safe and is beginning to settle into life in Flowers Manor. The fact that the staff take the time to get to know him and treat him as an individual not just as a 'resident' makes all the difference. We are so very grateful to all of you for this and for all that you do.

My mother moved in during August 2022; previously, she had tried several other care homes in the local area and Devon. Flowers Manor Care Home is head and shoulders above the rest. Fabulous care, great team of carers that are happy and very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The chef and his team provide an amazing choice of culinary delights, and Mum looks forward every day to choosing her meals off the menu. Daily activities twice a day provide lots of mental stimulation and interesting things to do, which Mum loves. I can't speak highly enough about the care experience Mum is enjoying at Flowers.

Reply from Charlotte Hearn, Front of House Manager at Flowers Manor Care Home

Thank you for your lovely review and we are so pleased that Mum has settled and is enjoying being here. We have a fantastic care team here and we will always do everything we can to make Mum's time here more enjoyable. It's lovely to see Mum enjoying our activities and also the 'culinary delights' and we will continue to make sure this happens.

Mym has thrived under the care and stimulation she has received when staying at Flowers Manor. The manager and staff have been hugely supportive of my family and have made all the arrangements so much easier. The home itself is so bright and cheerful. The staff are all very friendly and provide such personal care. Can't fault them at all.

My sister and I visited mum at Flowers Manor Care Home in Chippenham. This was for a pop-up restaurant experience which mum won in a raffle. The entertainment staff went to a lot of trouble decorating the restaurant appropriately with decorations, napkins, hats, flowers etc. The food was very authenticated. Much care given to attention to all the small details and very tasy.

My sister has been living in Flowers Manor since 27th July 2022. I have visited with my wife on several occasions, and on each occasion, the service has been excellent. My sister, although initially apprehensive, is happy and full of praise. Her room is comfortable and the facilities are excellent. She has taken part in cooking, gardening, zumba and the cinema. The staff are friendly, caring and efficient. She is now receiving a personal gazette to which the family can contribute. She has made a number of friends.
