My husband has stayed at Cadbury Hall for a week's respite on several occasions.
The staff are very welcoming which made him feel at home straightaway.

There is a varied food menu and the weekly life enrichment programme has something to suit everyone.

Mum has been at Cadbury Hall for 3 years ish and has been well looked after.
The home has become more busy over the years so she sometimes moans she has to wait a while but its not long!
She still has choices for her food and help is given when needed.

Overall she is as happy as she can be despite being in a Care Home.

I loved the diverse events I attended. They helped staff to bond with patient and vice-versa. It would be nice if night staff could be increased to give frame users and wheelchair users a speedier service. I did not feel comfortable on a table where a patient with dementia was regularly shouting at the staff. Many of these staff were multi tasking, and lacked time to listen to the needs of dementia patients who sat on tables also used by non dementia patients. Cadbury Hall is a classy place. I met some kind and interesting patients and staff.

Superficially, Cadbury Hall looks great. There are some kind and caring staff. Unfortunately, in spite of several polite verbal and written requests, my mother's care (after the first few weeks) was appalling and she was at significant risk. We felt we had no option but to move her to another home with immediate effect. Due to concerns for mum and other residents, referrals were made to CQC and North Somerset Safeguarding, who upheld ALL complaints. These included issues with basic personal care, medication, state of room, psycho social wellbeing and physical health, note keeping, culminating in lack of timely response for significant health issue which was potentially highly dangerous. As a family (and as found by the investigation by Safeguarding) we believe strongly that Cadbury Hall neglected mum and were in breach of contract. They over promised and under delivered. I could never recommend them.

My father had a week's respite care and I personally loved the facilities and care. Unfortunately my Dad was not well enough to join in with the weekly activity program but did mange a trip to the Garden Centre on the minibus which he enjoyed. The care staff were astute to his needs and looked after him to the best of their ability.

I came to Cadbury Hall following a fall for 1 week. I found this so beneficial I stayed for a second week. The staff day and night, were all exceptional; kind, friendly caring cheerful supportive and willing to help. Very quickly addressing residents by name. The hall is 'like new'! Very well furnished and fitted, pictures on walls - all quality. Residents are very well fed. Good menus with good range of choice and food is well presented and enjoyable. The coffee/tea station in reception is a nice facility. The activities programme is very good. Well planned, range of interesting possibilities and alternatives. The hall and the residents are all very well cared for.

My 95 year old aunt was at Cadbury Hall for just 2 weeks respite care. She remembers nothing about the experience due to her dementia but she was warmly welcomed by the manager and staff. She was very well looked after had everything she needed.

The manager was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. As well as the excellent carers, many other staff (e.g. housekeeping) would talk to her and help her.

I arrived here from hospital in August 2024. I had been very unwell with very low mood for some months. I now feel very well and am much more cheerful. Audrene Abrigo
Audrene AbrigoJob Title:General ManagerJoined: 2024

Hi. My name is Audrene, and I am the General Manager here at Cadbury Hall.

My experience of working in healthcare and with the elderly began when I was 16 years old as a Kitchen Assistant in a care home. I grew up watching my mother be a nurse to many - healing, treating and supporting her patients with their health and well-being, and it is from here that my passion grew from childhood for the nursing profession.

I am a Registered Nurse, and I have worked in various roles including District Nursing, Deputy Manager, Regional Clinical Development Nurse and now I’m delighted to have been promoted to the General Manager of Cadbury Hall. I have various qualifications; however, the one I’ve recently completed is the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. This qualification has helped me to further understand myself as a leader and manager.

I have a caring and compassionate nature for elderly care, and I aim to maintain and promote good health and well-being for all Cadbury Hall residents. I look forward to bringing all the experiences and knowledge that I have gained over the years to support the residents in our care, with the main aim of providing a positive life experience. It is a passion of mine to serve this age group, and I look forward to managing and leading the brilliant team at Cadbury Hall.

Please feel free to pop in and have a chat; my door is always open. Hope to see you soon.

Hi, my name is Carmen, and my job role at Cadbury Hall Care Home is that of Acting Deputy Manager. I have been working in the care sector for 5 years.

I started as a care assistant in one of the sister homes in Wales, where I learned what it means to care for people who are vulnerable and to share a sense of empathy. I had the opportunity to grow my skills, expand my knowledge and build my career, being promoted to Senior Carer at Cadbury Hall in February of 2024, through learning opportunities such as different clinical, leadership and management training.

I left in May of 2025 due to personal reasons, but my mind remained thinking about Cadbury Hall, which brought me back in November of 2025, with new experiences and plenty of knowledge, which I am able to share with the team, now in a new position. Having also a very good understanding of regulatory bodies and procedures, I ensure the team is providing excellent and safe care, with the residents’ wishes and needs for a personalised care delivery.

I take pride and joy in my job, and I want to show you what a day of work includes as a Team Leader of a very caring and compassionate team. Do not hesitate to come in and chat with me if you have any questions. I will do my best to find the answer that you are looking for!

I started working with Barchester Healthcare in April 2023, where I started as an Administration Assistant at Crandon Springs, Wells. In December 2025, I made the decision to join the team at Cadbury Hall.

I enjoy my job role, as it gives me a chance to get to know the residents and their families, as well as allowing me to be able to progress further within my career pathway. Back in 2024, I decided I wanted to complete my Level 3 Business and Administration qualification, which I completed in July 2025. It's also nice to bring my Daughter in during the School Holidays. Whilst away from work, I love to spend time with Family, whilst also enjoying the occasional couple of nights away with Friends. In November, I can be found taking part in the yearly Somerset County Guy Fawkes Carnival Circuits. I used to Marshall and be involved with the preparations of Wells City Carnival until 2021, when I decided to step away from the Committee and offered to be ground crew for a friend's Walking Entry. Hello, everyone, my name is Agnieszka Sitko, and I am a Care Assistant at Cadbury Hall.

I am originally from Poland. I have been living in the United Kingdom for nearly 20 years. My career in care began 10 years ago after I moved from Essex to Bristol. Later, once my daughter had become more independent, I decided to look for work in a care home. For several years, I worked in Clevedon across various sectors—including residential, nursing, and dementia care—and in December 2025, I began a new chapter at Cadbury Hall in Yatton.

I started working at Cadbury Hall in 2024. I have worked in various settings, including hotels and other care homes in the local area. I enjoy working with the team, ensuring the home is clean and tidy for our residents and visitors.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family.
