Lovely home with very caring staff and exceptional management and front line staff. Claire is brilliant. Nothing ever too much trouble. Any problems actioned and dealt with efficiently. I feel confident my mum is looked after and cared for extremely well. So many activities to participate in which look lots of fun although my mum is not able to take part. Cleanliness of room could be better, marks on table tray and hand towels left around.

My parents have resided in HL for over two years. The transition to a carehome was very challenging for them and the family. From the very first time I met the team, they reassured me and supported my parents with their transition superbly. They are now both extremely settled and as a family we are at peace with their care. They get treated with respect and dignity and their very differing needs are met without any fuss. The staff are kind, the food is amazing and the activities are very varied and stimulating. Thanks to all the staff for doing such a great job

After a negative experience at respite for mum at another Studley care home, Haywood Lodge in comparison has been a life saver. The service from the staff is exceptional. They listen about what mum needs with her vascular Dementia and mixed Alzheimer's they really actually care about your loved one. They are so attentive making sure your loved one is looked after, ensure they are eating and drinking, washed, dressed etc with lots of engagement. All the residents are dressed and clean too and not left to their own devices. The place is a dream and now I know I can enjoy my break knowing that mum is happy watching Mama Mia in the cinema room.

I definitely feel I have found the right place when we need full time care.

We moved my dad into this care home in October 25 as an emergency case, this isn't something they normally do but we were desperate and they helped us.
Best move we made for us all. My dad is cared for and happy. All the staff are friendly and willing to help not just my dad but his family too. They are always there for you if you need an ear or shoulder. It's lovely to see my dad laughing and joking with them all.
The building is kept lovely and clean and always welcoming.
They do day to day activities which they encourage the residence to participate in.

They always have food available and are often treating the residence to little snacks.

My father has been at Haywood Lodge for 3 years now with Alzheimer's disease- putting a loved one in a carehome is not an easy decision. Haywood is full of friendly caring staff, who treat the residents with absolute respect and talk to them in such a lovely manor - like friends. There is entertainment, arts and crafts, days out etc.

I genuinely have no worries about how my father is looked after, he is well fed - i have eaten there with him, he has extra puds if he wants them, there are treats and fresh fruit around. Having him there has taken away the worry I had, of me trying to look after him at home. He is well looked after, respected and cared for, it feels homely when you go in - he has a beautiful suite with lovely lounge area of his own and large bathroom with shower and bath. He likes the staff and smiles a lot, i couldn't ask for anything else. Also unlike a lot of care homes i visited, he has a double bed. Thank you to all of the team who work there.

Simply the best!
One month was bliss for me and my 92 year old husband when we both became residents again at Haywood Lodge recently
My husband had a unscheduled 2 week stay in hospital arriving on a stretcher, I arrived 2 days before him after surgery & needed to recuperate. The team were not phased by our range of problems & I was so relieved that the complex needs of my husband were dealt with so well by the wonderful, caring professional & considerate team. The management team even arranged paddling in a paddling pool with an ice cream in the hot weather!

A huge thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly in all the heat to make us well enough to return home. You are all so special!

When you enter the home, it has a welcoming feeling, feels homely. The home is clean, beautiful decor, the residents look clean, well dressed and look comfortable and happy. Staff go above and beyond to ensure residents have all their care needs met. My mother has come on leaps and bounds since arriving at Haywood Lodge, as is happy and content. As a family, we viewed other homes, and this is far the best. Food is of excellent quality.

My husband spent 7 months in Haywood Lodge. He has dementia; he had the most wonderful care and kindness shown to him. Every member of staff, from the top down are really caring. We were sorry to have moved him, but this awful illness has taken its toll. I would say this home is one of the best.

Today was Mum's birthday. The care staff at Haywood Lodge have made the day special for mum and her two daughters. Having arranged for us both to have lunch with mum. We were given the garden room. Mum had a birthday cake, a card, a present and the team sang a lovely 'happy birthday' to her.

The thoughtfulness experienced today is not unusual. We have received nothing but the very best in care, kindness and respect.

The care Mom has received from the home has been excellent. All the staff are very caring, and I feel able to approach any member of staff with any questions regarding my mom's care or health. She has come on so much since moving to the home; she participates in a lot of the activities provided by the home. The meals are fantastic, and mom has started eating and drinking regularly, whereas she was deteriorating before her move to the home. We as a family, are very pleased with her care.

My mother-in-law has been in this care home in Studley for a couple of months.

I always found the staff to be open friendly, very helpful and considerate to all of the residents

I have attended my mother-in-law during some of the activities they hold which seem to go down very well.

I've also been there at varying times of the day, including meal times. I've always found that the staff have been very attentive and caring about the food that the residence eat.. I found that the quality of food has always been a good standard and I take notice of the menus that they offer daily. I think there's been a good variety of food on offer and all the meals that I have seen have been very acceptable and if a good standard..
The overall ambience of the place is good From the greeting from the receptionist to the conversations with the manageress

I have no hesitation in recommending this as a really caring home.

I can't say how happy we are to find this care home for my dad who has vascular dementia. He's been there a couple of months now and it's taken a lot of stress off us and him. The team are so good there with everyone being so friendly and happy. The rooms are very nicely decorated as is the whole block. Everyone bends over backwards to help with anything from issues to information, from activities to days out. It takes a certain person to be able to work in these types of environments and Haywood lodge has these people in abundance. So pleased my dad is under their care and I couldn't recommend it enough. Very happy with everything, great service.

Mom's been released from hospital with 6 weeks life expectancy. She has thrived back in her home, she will exceed all expectations, I'm sure, and if she doesn't, she will have had the best care along the way.

Since arriving at Haywood Lodge, Mother has been treated with dignity & excellent support. She has been given help with her daily care by very friendly & able carers. She is enjoying the social side & joining in activities.

Initial meeting was welcoming and I felt they listened to my concerns. I chose a month's package so I could get respite for myself.
