I cannot rate Lakeview highly enough. From the very first minute I telephoned, The Home Admissions Advisor has been absolutely wonderful from letting me take a tour at very short notice, to contacting the hospital and making arrangements. They have made my client feel extremely comfortable and relaxed
and encouraged her to join in, not just hiding away in her room. The General Manager made a special effort to escort her to lunch and she is settling in very well. Her room is extremely spacious and the facilities, cleanliness and feel are second to none. A lovely home to visit - it certainly does not feel or look like a care home. Outstanding.

My wife's third visit for respite care and my first to keep her company which turned out to be a wonderful replacement for my cancelled trip to Canada. What a wonderful place this is with all amenities and a remarkable bunch of staff attending to all your needs without hesitation and made my two weeks
stay a very relaxing and memorable one. I have visited several care homes in the area to care for my late sister-in-law and wife and certainly this is the best in the visinity - the facilities, decor, service , meals and lastly what a group of staff who without hesitation attend to all your needs. I have no hesitation to recommend this venue to those in need

We couldn't be more pleased with the care and attention Mum has received since she has been at Lakeview Grange. She wasn't sure about moving to a care home, even temporarily, but having had such a positive experience she made the decision to stay. It is a huge relief to us, her family, as we know she
is exceptionally well cared for. The staff are amazing in every aspect. They have encouraged her to join in a variety of activities, all of which she has enjoyed. She is doing really well and even looks younger!
The staff already know her well and are always on hand. She feels respected and listened to.
We and any visitors she has, are always made to feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble.
Lakeview Grange has a lovely atmosphere and is beautifully appointed. Mum's room is spacious and she has been encouraged to bring in her own pictures, special chair and ornaments.
We can't thank the team at Lakeview Grange enough for everything. They are all amazing.

My mother has been a permanent resident at Lakeview Grange since January 2025, following several respite care stays in 2024. The quality of the accommodation is exceptional - hence the awards - and she is treated with warmth, love and affection by every member of the team. But it's after this weekend's
Mother's Day tea that I felt compelled to leave this review - a wonderful event, bringing together residents and their families over a high tea that allowed us all to chat, reminisce and meet each other. Fantastic. And the following day, to celebrate a birthday, I brought a bottle of fizz and sat with my mum and her friends for drinks in the lounge looking over the garden, in a place that feels like a proper home. As they said to me, this is how care should be - an opportunity to live your later years in comfort with new friends and new things to look forward to. Well done, Lakeview!

Mum went into Lakeview for a four week respite period and she was very anxious about her stay. However, the whole team at Lakeview have been absolutely outstanding - we cannot thank them enough. They have given Mum the best of care, nurtured her to join in activities, listened to her concerns and made
her feel welcome right from the original meeting. She literally became one of the family and everyone made an effort to get to know her. Mum, unfortunately had a flare up with her skin condition but again the team were amazing, going above and beyond to get it under control. The team at Lakeview have also made me feel welcome and I really have felt like I have been visiting Mum at place where everyone is valued and important. As Mums care needs have begun to increase we know we are looking at moving her into a care home environment very soon and we will not be looking anywhere else! The staff and facilities are truly fantastic. Thank you.

My Nana moved into Lakeview Grange recently and I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness, support and encouragement they have given her as well as the family since moving in. I knew it was the right place the first time we visited. The friendliness and care given to everyone I could see that
residents were happy, valued and safe.
Nana's care has been exemplary, as individual as she is. Nothing is too much trouble. There are many lovely activities in and outside the home she has started to enjoy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lakeview Grange when looking for a care home

Our mother had been in hospital for about a month due to a COPD flare up and needed somewhere to stay to get some strength back.
This was our first experience with a care home so we did not really know what to expect but after being in hospital for a month we wanted our mother to spend the next four
weeks somewhere that was comfortable and a bit more like home. The team at Lakeview were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, they were all very patient and kind and did everything they could to make sure my mother benefitted the most from her stay.
I would mention the staff by name but I am too worried I would miss someone out but they were all brilliant. We really did feel like we were all part of the family and although my mother was only there for a few weeks she bonded well with the staff. She was pleased to be home, but I am sure she misses seeing them.
I would highly recommend Lakeview, fantastic care and a beautiful venue & facilities.

I didn't know care homes as wonderful as Lakeview Grange existed. From the building to the rooms to the food and activities but most of all the amazing staff it is absolutely top class. Not a negative to be found. I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe and caring and welcoming home for their
loved one. I wouldn't move my dad anywhere else in a million years. It's heads and shoulders above anywhere else. I've worked in care for 30 years so I speak from a personal and professional stance.

After making the difficult decision to put Dad into 24-hour care we took time to visit care homes to try and find a suitable placement where he would be safe, happy and well-supported in his already advanced dementia journey.
Many of the care homes I visited were well0run and could meet his needs
but on reflection I just couldn't see myself leaving him there. Then we went to Lakeview Grange and I immediately felt the difference. The staff and environment were warm and genuine. The interactions between the carers and the residents were noticeably caring and friendly and the residents were calm and relaxed. Although my dad is not a naturally social person and being in a care home is a huge adjustment for him, the staff are taking a gentle approach of getting to know him and are very keen to involve the family to make the process easier and more manageable. It's early days for Dad at Lakeview but I have every confidence he is safe and working towards being happy there too! Thanks to all!

It was a very difficult decision to move our Mum into permanent care, but as her Dementia took hold we all recognised she needed 24 her care which we were unable to provide. From the outset, Lakeview Grange has treated Mum with dignity and respect. The Home is very welcoming - all staff go out of their
way to chat and acknowledge us.
Mum is extremely happy in her new environment (she has been at Lakeview for just over a year). she is regularly taken out and about. There are a variety of activities to join in with over the course of the week. Family suggestions are taken into consideration and help is always there if and when it is needed.

My mother moved into Lakeview 6 months ago and I cannot fault the care and the kindness from all the staff. The cafe area where residents can invite relatives and friends and offer them refreshments maintains dignity and independence. All the rooms are beautiful and well-maintained, I would highly recommend

Moving my partner who has a serious memory problem into a care home was not totally unexpected but was precipitated by a fall at home.
Right from the start of my first investigative visit and then the subsequent need for a rapid admission -I cannot praise the team at Lakeview enough - they have been
exemplary during this extremely difficult time of moving someone does not realise or accept there is a problem which I can no longer manage.
Total professionalism and importantly assessing and being aware of my partner's personality and individual requirements ensuring that her day is well spent doing things that are appropriate and enjoyable to her. (In fact, a far better job than I have done or could do)
The team's support for me has been unstinting and very welcome. The staff are always friendly and helpful creating a calm friendly atmosphere.
The property, facilities and catering are excellent and live up to brochure and website descriptions.

I was able to visit Lakeview Grange in the summer of 2024 for my sister who was moving here from Surrey. My niece and I had an immediate good feeling here, It was on first impressions really ideal, spacious tastefully presented rooms, a feeling of warm welcome, as it has been as I found myself suddenly
here with a foot injury following a fall in my flat. It is extremely well run with willing and friendly staff to fulfill every need and also while always busy nothing is too much trouble and it has a very pleasant quiet tranquility at all times.

Upon identifying Lakeview Grange based on convenient location for transferring our relative to be nearer to us for visiting on a more regular basis, we have been very impressed and made very welcome. Lakeview Grange is very much the best of the best in every respect. The staff are so caring and go out of their way to see you are comfortable and have all you need. The response to the call button is rapid and faultless. I was here for four weeks in 2023 and have no hesitation to spend 2 weeks here
in 2024 as my husband is away and I refer to the place as a five-star holiday hotel. Thanks to all the staff for my care.

My wife and I were most impressed with our introductory tour of Lakeview Grange and that has been confirmed since we moved in for a few weeks. I chose Lakeview Grange for my aunt after looking at several Care homes in the area. She had a fall and fractured her hip and was in hospital for a couple of months. I was advised that she could no longer live alone. From the first contact and visit, I was very impressed. I was also nervous about how
she would settle in as she had been a very independent woman. I needn't have worried. She has been treated with respect and dignity from day 1. The staff are lovely and very attentive, the facilities are luxurious and the food is marvellous. Just as importantly she is very happy and content. There are plenty of entertainments and after a little encouragement,t she often attends. She was 100 this year and the staff kindly gave her a lovely afternoon tea with some bubbly and she felt like a queen for the day!
I have recommended Lakeview Grange to a friend for her father and she is also very happy with his care.

We attended a Wedding Anniversary celebration. The staff made a huge effort to make the home so welcoming with decorations and food for the happy couple. The whole home resembles a first-class hotel with every facility provided. Marvellous friendly staff throughout. A pleasure always to visit our friends

Jackie Cridlin

Job Title: Home Admissions Advisor

In my role, I work with families and friends who are looking for a care home for their loved one. From the moment they make their enquiry for care to when they move their loved one into Lakeview Grange, I ensure their journey goes as smoothly as possible by supporting them every step of the way for a smooth transition.


I started my career in care as a retirement housing manager in Central London, and for the last 20 years, I have supported Home Admission Advisors with training in care homes across the country. In the last 3 years, I have stepped down from a regional role and decided to focus on just one care Home, hence my role at Lakeview Grange. I treat every family with dignity and respect and will go above and beyond to ensure family members receive the support they need in helping them to make the right decisions for, what can be a very emotional experience.


Born in South London and now living in Chichester with my partner. Between us, we have four children who have all flown the nest.


My family mean the world to me, and I try to meet with them as much as possible. Being happy with a positive attitude is my attitude to life.

Job Title: Activities Co-ordinator Joined: 2023

My role involves creating a varied and exciting Activity Plan reflecting residents’ individual hobbies and shared interests, with daily physical activities (including ‘Zing’ our in-house exercises) and chances for new opportunities.


Maintaining old, and building new, relationships are vital, and we welcome visitors, volunteers and local groups.


Equally key for wellbeing is getting out whether in and around Chichester or using our accessible garden.


Activities also encompass cultural and religious beliefs, as well as National Holidays and events. As a whole Home, we will celebrate with fun ‘Theme Days’ involving food, music, art & craft and Fancy Dress and competitions.


For the last 7 years, I’ve been a Care Home Activities Co-Ordinator, where I completed my ‘Active Engagement’ Apprenticeship. Before, I cared for my dad (who was blind and terminally ill) and then my Mum (who had physical disabilities and Dementia). Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked in many Social Care sectors as a Carer, Manager and qualified as a Master of Social Work.


With my Degree in English & Drama, I write and perform in a Theatre Group, I’m in various Choirs and volunteer at my Community Cinema. I love ‘Nostalgia’ and Classic Cars - sharing a ‘Moggy Minor’ with my partner. We also share our cat and dog, and a love of history, travel, pub quizzes and being by the sea.

My job is to provide physical and emotional support for the residents at Lakeview Grange and to supervise and support the care team working on my community.
I have worked in the care industry just under seven years ago firstly in domiciliary care and shortly after, as a Care Assistant in the Oxford area. I am currently studying an apprenticeship – NVQ5 for Leadership and Management in Adult Healthcare. I am a lawyer by profession but quickly learned that working in the care industry is my calling and wished I had realised this earlier in life.
My plan is to work my way up re leadership in care.
I was born and raised in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia -now Bosnia and Herzegovina. 25 years were spent living in Prague before arriving in England nearly 7 years ago and what I consider as ‘my home’.
Chichester is a wonderful place to live, my spare time is spent exploring this beautiful city.

I have worked in Health and Social care for over 37 years. With a wealth of experience under my belt, I approach every day with a new challenge with the key focus to ensure that our residents and my amazing team are healthy and happy.


My family and my dogs mean the absolute world to me. My ‘time out’ is to sit down by the sea, sometimes fishing. I have a creative mind so, creating things in resin and flower arranging is what I call fun.

I have worked in the care industry for 20 years and have held a range of positions from Carer to Registered Manager. I have always worked in elderly care, including Dementia and Palliative care. I have held the position of Home Manager for the last eight years.


I love the satisfaction of making a positive difference, however great or small, in the life of someone less able than I, whatever stage of life they have reached. Outside of work, I have a fiancé and three children that keep me busy. I also enjoy cooking, gardening and reading.

I am responsible for the health and wellbeing of our residents living on the Dementia Community, 'Goodwood Lane'.
I have a team of Care Assistants who work with me to ensure our resident’s live a healthy and happy life, with stimulating activities, physical and phycological support and making them feel safe in the environment they live in.
I have worked in the care industry for around 21 years. My experience has focused on working in a dementia environment, that is where my passion is.


I am a busy working mum of 3 wonderful children who take up most of my time. I love to attend shows across the county and internationally where my daughter performs as a cheerleader. I am truly a very proud mummy!

I ensure Lakeview Grange remains compliant with rules and regulations whilst ensuring that the residents’ experience remains a positive and happy one, ensuring that residents have access to daily activities and are able to pursue their day freely and with choice.


I have worked in care for 5 and a half years. I spent a year and a half as a Bank Care Assistant and then a Care Assistant before moving up to becoming a Senior Care Assistant for a year. Following this I was a Head Of Care for 3 years before I then made my move to Lakeview Grange to become one of two Deputy Managers.
I am an individual who stumbled into care following graduating from the University of West of England with a degree in Business Management with Economics, and have now worked in care since. I am passionate about ensuring that everyone receives the best possible care they can have, whilst also remaining happy and safe. In my spare time, I enjoy watching multiple sports as well as socialising with my friends and family.

My career has taken me to many kitchens in the West End of London and over to West Sussex. I have been blessed with a love and passion for food, and a few of the locations where I have worked are The Millstream, Bosham, and The Angel, Midhurst. Spencer’s Restaurant in Emsworth.


I live locally with my family. There are 3 wonderful women in my life… my wife and my two daughters. I am a lucky (and very busy) man.

I am responsible for the business operations at Lakeview Grange. I look after a wide range of areas, including recruitment, HR administration, payroll, and general office management. I also oversee and support our lovely reception team, who ensure that every visitor and resident has a warm welcome.


I have a unique combination of experience that has led me to be an administrator in a care home. As a teen, my parents ran a small 3-bed care home in our family home, and so care and respect for the older generation is something that is part of my upbringing. As an adult, I went on to be a GP Secretary and later an Administrator of Finance and HR in a secondary school, a combination of skills that has set me up well to be a business administrator for Cinnamon, and I am excited to be part of the team here at Lakeview Grange.


I am a mum to two grown up (ish) children, my son is 23 and my daughter is 20, I am very proud of them both. I love to read and am always in the middle of a book or an audiobook, I love music and going to concerts and going to the theatre, I love to go out with friends and family or to stay in with friends and family and natter late into the night, I love a spontaneous adventure, a road trip, and to travel. I also love a cosy night on the sofa with my slippers
