My Mother was a resident of several (expensive) care homes (not local) and this one at Chichester is the best, where I have another relative. I have also viewed many more when selecting. Lakeview Grange is still the best. They have adapted well to our resident and even taken on an outing, which they
enjoyed. The staff are all very helpful and have patience.
- Did not agree with initial 'lockdown' for resident for his first month! Not enough parking and deliveries should be in a separate area.

I was delighted by the kind and professional care I received at Lakeview Grange. Having broken my ankle very badly I knew I would not return home until I was able to weight bear after surgery. After a horrendous short stay at an alternative nursing home. It was so comforting to receive such a warm and
thorough admission procedure to ascertain my needs and these were met throughout my 3 week stay. Without exception, the carers were kind, prompt and professional. The room was luxurious and the food was very good. I am so grateful to everyone and will miss them!

We were invited to our friends' Wedding Anniversary party at the Lakeview Grange which they now call home. The celebration was planned in every detail and was fully enjoyed by everyone. It was fantastic! The staff are always so professional, caring and welcoming and our resident friends are so happy

I couldn't have been more pleased with Lakeview and its staff.
My mother needed respite care after a major heart attack and she was looked after very well both by the staff and the contractors (particularly the physio) such that she has been able to return home much earlier than any of the family could
have expected. The admission process was slick enabling us to move Mum from a cardiac ward quickly and easily. She made many friends whilst there and it would be fair to say she will miss being there.
It was such a weight off the family's mind to know that she was well looked after and really enjoying her time there.

My uncle was a resident for nearly a year and was treated with dignity and respect, the staff took their time to engage with him at every opportunity and he was stimulated and happy. There was a lovely French carer, not sure of his name now who was particularly wonderful with him. The whole place feels
like a hotel, not a care home. The dining room dressed wonderfully, the food excellent even wine and in doing so it treats the elderly like valued people, not in-patients. The entertainment schedule was varied and they even have a cinema room and guest dining room to use. I just can't fault it, was wonderful knowing he was being cared for so well in such a lovely environment and just a shame he couldn't have stayed longer.

My experience with Lakeview Grange has been nothing short of fantastic, starting right from my first contact with them, through the admission of my mother over a year ago, and continuing to last week, when they hosted her 100th birthday party. Living overseas, I rely on good communication, which get
regularly by email and by video call chats with my mother, which the staff facilitate. On my visits, the staff always remember me and are very warm and friendly. The home is absolutely immaculate, beautifully designed, decorated, and maintained, and could easily be mistaken for a 5-star hotel. Not only the carers, but all the other staff too, are very helpful, personable, competent, and provide excellent care - they are clearly not just "doing their job" but are committed and genuine. The food is excellent and varied and cannot be faulted. No care home is cheap, but I can't imagine a better setting or a better staff at any cost.

My father has only been in Lakeview for a month but has really improved since living here. The staff are absolutely amazing, so respectful, so kind, so patient and encouraging. I can't speak highly enough about all of the staff at Lakeview. There are activities every day which are well run and thought
out and the lady is very encouraging in getting the residents to join in and socialise. The interior design and layout are fabulous, more like a five-star hotel with everything you could need to be comfortable and we really enjoy the cinema facility and coffee area with homemade cakes every day. The gardens are well maintained, the bedroom is clean, spacious and light and Dad enjoys all his meals. This is a lovely place, is more like being in a community than being in a care home. I would like to thank every single member of staff who has helped with Dad's care - you are amazing and an absolute credit! Thank you so much.

I’m really impressed with Lakeview Grange. I regularly visit my friend here and amazed of all the facilities it has to offer, what really stood out to me was you have a private function room you can book out for family and friends for special occasions. I received a warm welcome from the receptionist on arrival. All staff are very professional and supportive, ensuring that my friends' needs are respectively met. The individual rooms are spacious and cosy. My friend enjoys the cinema room and sitting out in the communal lounge drinking coffee and chatting
to others. There is a variety of activities offered on a daily basis. The outdoors is easily accessible with beautiful gardens that are well maintained. The building is a new and up-to-date care facility with decor that makes it feel like home from home, offering a friendly, warm welcoming place to visit.

I visited several care homes before reaching out to the home admission advisor and the team; the difference in facilities, welfare and care was clear to see.
I imagine my circumstances - watching my mum become more vulnerable, whilst at the same time allowing her to live her life and look after herself
- is common and I found it hard to make the necessary step into Lakeside, initially coaxing her in for a couple of weeks 'trial.'
I needn't have worried - she loves the building, loves the staff and loves being there; it's a fantastic place.

On first entering the home it had a good feel. All the care staff excellent, always made welcome when we visit. My husband really enjoys all the meals, have sampled some, excellent.
As a family we wouldn't have wanted to look elsewhere for care after coming here.

My mother's bedroom is great, big comfy bed, big TV, plenty of storage and a great walk-in shower.

My father first came to Lakeview Grange initially for two week respite care, he has now decided to stay as a permanent resident, and we can’t blame him, the staff are amazing and treat him with the upmost respect and care, nothing is too much trouble.
My sister and I are so grateful our father chose
to live in this wonderful residential home, we can visit any time and we are always greeted warmly by everyone.
Lakeview is a beautiful home, with first class facilities, first class care and we would be recommend highly.

Mum had been in and out of hospital over a period of time when we realised she couldn’t be left alone at home anymore and it didn’t work with carers coming in. My brother researched homes in Chichester and came across Lakeview Grange.
Mum moved in at the beginning of July and to our surprise has
settled in really quickly. I think she finally realised that she liked all the attention and just didn’t want to be on her own anymore. The home has been brilliant helping her feel ‘at home’. They also make us feel very welcome too - it’s a really lovely place.

My mother aged 97 has developed moderate dementia and my mother as her carer needed some respite. She first went into Lakeview Grange in May 2023. She doesn't mind being away from home at all. From the moment she arrived, she and the whole family were made to feel welcome. The manager was first class
as were all the staff. I live locally and dropped in to see my mother at all times of the day without any notice. The home was spotlessly clean and my mother was always being attended to and was involved in all the activities including singing songs and Skittles. They did her hair and nails and she had company from other residents. She had a nice stay and will again.

My husband and I visited Lakeview Grange on the 16th of June to see my sister and brother-in-law who had recently entered the home. From the moment we entered to the moment we left 4 hours later, I was impressed with everything I saw. The house was spotless and my sister's room was of the highest quality
and the seating area in the home and garden was comfortable and immaculate. We had lunch which was excellent and everything we saw and experienced was outstanding and the friendly service that we received from everybody we met. Everybody was cheerful and friendly and gave the impression that they genuinely cared and had time to talk to us and my sister. On the basis of our experience and my sister's experience, I would unhesitatingly recommend the home to anyone.

The home is beautiful. More like a boutique hotel! Each room has individual furnishings and colour schemes. The staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyone goes the extra mile for the residents. I cannot fault it.

Jackie Cridlin

Job Title: Home Admissions Advisor

In my role, I work with families and friends who are looking for a care home for their loved one. From the moment they make their enquiry for care to when they move their loved one into Lakeview Grange, I ensure their journey goes as smoothly as possible by supporting them every step of the way for a smooth transition.


I started my career in care as a retirement housing manager in Central London, and for the last 20 years, I have supported Home Admission Advisors with training in care homes across the country. In the last 3 years, I have stepped down from a regional role and decided to focus on just one care Home, hence my role at Lakeview Grange. I treat every family with dignity and respect and will go above and beyond to ensure family members receive the support they need in helping them to make the right decisions for, what can be a very emotional experience.


Born in South London and now living in Chichester with my partner. Between us, we have four children who have all flown the nest.


My family mean the world to me, and I try to meet with them as much as possible. Being happy with a positive attitude is my attitude to life.

My role involves creating a varied and exciting Activity Plan reflecting residents’ individual hobbies and shared interests, with daily physical activities (including ‘Zing’ our in-house exercises) and chances for new opportunities.


Maintaining old, and building new, relationships are vital, and we welcome visitors, volunteers and local groups.


Equally key for wellbeing is getting out whether in and around Chichester or using our accessible garden.


Activities also encompass cultural and religious beliefs, as well as National Holidays and events. As a whole Home, we will celebrate with fun ‘Theme Days’ involving food, music, art & craft and Fancy Dress and competitions.


For the last 7 years, I’ve been a Care Home Activities Co-Ordinator, where I completed my ‘Active Engagement’ Apprenticeship. Before, I cared for my dad (who was blind and terminally ill) and then my Mum (who had physical disabilities and Dementia). Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked in many Social Care sectors as a Carer, Manager and qualified as a Master of Social Work.


With my Degree in English & Drama, I write and perform in a Theatre Group, I’m in various Choirs and volunteer at my Community Cinema. I love ‘Nostalgia’ and Classic Cars - sharing a ‘Moggy Minor’ with my partner. We also share our cat and dog, and a love of history, travel, pub quizzes and being by the sea.

My job is to provide physical and emotional support for the residents at Lakeview Grange and to supervise and support the care team working on my community.
I have worked in the care industry just under seven years ago firstly in domiciliary care and shortly after, as a Care Assistant in the Oxford area. I am currently studying an apprenticeship – NVQ5 for Leadership and Management in Adult Healthcare. I am a lawyer by profession but quickly learned that working in the care industry is my calling and wished I had realised this earlier in life.
My plan is to work my way up re leadership in care.
I was born and raised in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia -now Bosnia and Herzegovina. 25 years were spent living in Prague before arriving in England nearly 7 years ago and what I consider as ‘my home’.
Chichester is a wonderful place to live, my spare time is spent exploring this beautiful city.

While on duty my focus is to deliver a holistic approach to caring for our residents with dignity and respect at the forefront of the care that my team and I deliver. I embrace every opportunity to discover the individual needs, preferences, and values of each of our fascinating residents.


I have worked in Health and Social care for over 37 years. With a wealth of experience under my belt, I approach every day with a new challenge with the key focus to ensure that our residents and my amazing team are healthy and happy.


My family and my dogs mean the absolute world to me. My ‘time out’ is to sit down by the sea, sometimes fishing. I have a creative mind so, creating things in resin and flower arranging is what I call fun.

I have worked in the care industry for 20 years and have held a range of positions from Carer to Registered Manager. I have always worked in elderly care, including Dementia and Palliative care. I have held the position of Home Manager for the last eight years.


I love the satisfaction of making a positive difference, however great or small, in the life of someone less able than I, whatever stage of life they have reached. Outside of work, I have a fiancé and three children that keep me busy. I also enjoy cooking, gardening and reading.

I am responsible for the health and wellbeing of our residents living on the Dementia Community, 'Goodwood Lane'.
I have a team of Care Assistants who work with me to ensure our resident’s live a healthy and happy life, with stimulating activities, physical and phycological support and making them feel safe in the environment they live in.
I have worked in the care industry for around 21 years. My experience has focused on working in a dementia environment, that is where my passion is.


I am a busy working mum of 3 wonderful children who take up most of my time. I love to attend shows across the county and internationally where my daughter performs as a cheerleader. I am truly a very proud mummy!

I ensure Lakeview Grange remains compliant with rules and regulations whilst ensuring that the residents’ experience remains a positive and happy one, ensuring that residents have access to daily activities and are able to pursue their day freely and with choice.


I have worked in care for 5 and a half years. I spent a year and a half as a Bank Care Assistant and then a Care Assistant before moving up to becoming a Senior Care Assistant for a year. Following this I was a Head Of Care for 3 years before I then made my move to Lakeview Grange to become one of two Deputy Managers.
I am an individual who stumbled into care following graduating from the University of West of England with a degree in Business Management with Economics, and have now worked in care since. I am passionate about ensuring that everyone receives the best possible care they can have, whilst also remaining happy and safe. In my spare time, I enjoy watching multiple sports as well as socialising with my friends and family.

My job is impactful work, supporting the Head Chef in our ‘state of the art’ kitchen, to deliver nutritious, seasonal meals to residents, balancing flavour, well-being, and engagement.


I have been on an inspiring path, from starting as a Line Chef in a local restaurant chain to becoming Head Chef and now embracing the role of Second Chef at the luxury Care Home, Lakeview Grange, offering residents beautifully crafted, seasonal meals in an elegant setting.


My passion for food and experimenting with new dishes from around the world is shared with my wife and beautiful daughter, Olivia.

I am responsible for a catering team that, with my guidance, creates freshly cooked food for their residents.


My career has taken me to many kitchens in the West End of London and over to West Sussex. I have been blessed with a love and passion for food, and a few of the locations where I have worked are The Millstream, Bosham, and The Angel, Midhurst. Spencer’s Restaurant in Emsworth.


I live locally with my family. There are 3 wonderful women in my life… my wife and my two daughters. I am a lucky (and very busy) man.
Live music is my passion, and my friends mean a lot to me.

I am responsible for the business operations at Lakeview Grange. I look after a wide range of areas, including recruitment, HR administration, payroll, and general office management. I also oversee and support our lovely reception team, who ensure that every visitor and resident has a warm welcome.


I have a unique combination of experience that has led me to be an administrator in a care home. As a teen, my parents ran a small 3-bed care home in our family home, and so care and respect for the older generation is something that is part of my upbringing. As an adult, I went on to be a GP Secretary and later an Administrator of Finance and HR in a secondary school, a combination of skills that has set me up well to be a business administrator for Cinnamon, and I am excited to be part of the team here at Lakeview Grange.


I am a mum to two grown up (ish) children, my son is 23 and my daughter is 20, I am very proud of them both. I love to read and am always in the middle of a book or an audiobook, I love music and going to concerts and going to the theatre, I love to go out with friends and family or to stay in with friends and family and natter late into the night, I love a spontaneous adventure, a road trip, and to travel. I also love a cosy night on the sofa with my slippers
