Having been since the place opened I've seen many changes. Mainly for the best, I know the home will continue to getting better. Its a beautiful home, the staff try their hardest.
Thank you for this lovely review. We are so pleased that you continue to be happy with the home and the team who work here.
The management team is proactive and approachable, ensuring smooth operations and consistently high standards of care. Rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and immaculately clean, offering both comfort and privacy. The food is nutritious and varied, catering to different tastes and dietary needs, and always served with care. What truly sets this home apart are the excellent facilities and engaging activities that promote both mental and physical wellbeing. Whether it's social events, creative sessions, or gentle exercise, there's always something to look forward to. This home provides not just care, but quality of life - offering exceptional value for money. A true haven for those who need support in their later years.
Thank you for this review. Its great see hear how happy you are with the care, facilities, food and activities at the home. We are always thrilled to receive such honest positive feedback.
We would like to say thank you for the kindness and care mum received from the staff on the reception, the coffee shop, hairdressers, beauty salon and the carers. However the management team were not what we expected from such a high end care home. The home has all 'the bells and whistles' but lacks on the important things. The manager didn't even know mum's name and never did throughout her year of being there. Staffing levels were very inadequate at times. We were told when we initially came to view the home that there were cameras in all the rooms and in the public area. Unfortunately this was misleading as we later found out the cameras had never been in operation. Mum also had a nasty fall and was in hospital for some time, we understand falls are common with dementia but the investigation that followed could have been handled better. We have since moved mum to another care home and are delighted with the level of care and dignity, it is an amazing place.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We am sorry to hear about your experience at Bloomfield Rose and that we did not meet your expectations. As discussed during your meetings with the Home Manager, we take all concerns seriously, endeavour to learn lessons and where possible make improvements to the services we provide.
This home is like a 5 star hotel. Dad went in for 6 weeks respite and was about to sign a contract to stay permanently when he had to go back to hospital. The facilities are brilliant as is the food + restaurant service. The staff are first class and treated dad like a family member he was extremely well taken care of. Although dad was in a wheelchair he was always taken to the entertainment + activities he wished to attend. The management are always visible, helpful and available at short notice. The staff have kept in touch whilst dad was in hospital and we hope to get him back into Blossomfield Rose for nursing care.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this lovely review. We are delighted that you are happy with the care and service you received at Blossomfield Rose Care Home. Dad was a pleasure to know and we cant wait to have him back for future stays with us .
A dear friend of ours advised that she was looking to move from her Care Home and asked for some help to find a new one. We focused our search to the South of Birmingham and viewed several before Blossomfield Rose. We would have saved a lot of time and effort if we had seen Blossomfield at the start. The entire process, of deciding which of the many homes would be best, was made very easy thanks to all at Blossomfield. The location, decor, furnishings and appearance of the home could easily pass for the contents of a 5 Star hotel. The same is true of the food, which was simply outstanding and delicious. Each room is designed to make the resident feel at home as do all of the individual elements of Blossomfield Rose. The home offers a host of activities to cater to everyone. Our friend is the happiest she has been and we would thank the leadership team and all at Blossomfield Rose. Collectively they transformed a building into a caring, safe and beautiful home.
Thank you so much for leaving such a lovely review for the home. Its so lovely to see how your friend has settled in and is enjoying her life at Blossomfield Rose. Thank you again for trusting us to look after your friend she is an absolute please to know.
Blossomfield Rose was a great choice for our Mother who was suffering with Alzheimers and Cancer, requiring significant nursing care. They supported us throught the transition from hospital to care home and did everything they could to ensure the stay was as comfortable and fulfilling as possible. Highly recommend.
Thank you for taking the time out to write this lovely review for Blossomfield Rose. We are so pleased that you are happy with the care Mum received at the home. We were glad to help and support you to get Mum to us.
Really impressed with everyone we have met and talked to.
The initial arrangements were smooth and stress free - the excellent management team knew what to do and what was needed. Amazing amount of detail to ensure they had everything right for him when he came to them and that they could manage his needs.
We found the facilities exceptional - and we have had nothing but praise from our very fussy parent since he has been there.
Will also mention the excellent care staff who do a superb job. Really keen to understand underlying triggers and anyway they can make things more comfortable but nothing is a drama! Very capable and very professional.
Would not hesitate to recommend.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this lovely review for the home. We are so happy that your Dad has settled in and you are happy with the care and service at the home.
Overall, it was a positive experience with good carers and surroundings, but care and administrative staff were fun and supportive.
Foods good and nice soups, but sadly no bread and bread rolls. With bread rolls I would have eaten more.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we always welcome honest feedback to help us grow and learn which helps is improve our service. Were are so pleased that you had a positive experience here. You were an absolute pleasure to be around and look after. You are always welcome back to Blossomfield Rose.
I contacted Blossomfield Rose over Christmas time and the manager immediately contacted me back and she was extremely helpful and assisted me with my enquiry. I required respite for two weeks for my mother and father. My father may have to stay in permanently once discharged from hospital. The home is spacious, clean and staff are friendly and professional. Each floor has its own dining room and lounge, residents can visit other floors for meals. Activities are well-managed and interesting. Thank you to the manager and the team for your excellent care and support.
Thank you so much for leaving this 5 star review for the home. We are so pleased that you are happy with everything and that the respite stay has gone very well for you. We really appreciate you taking the time to leave this review for us.
The room, with its elegant decor and comfortable seating, offered a lovely aspect of the gardens and easily accommodated fourteen adults and two children, allowing us all to socialise in comfort.
The coffee and cake were a delightful treat, making the occasion all the more special. Having the party at Mum's residence was ideal, it anchored her, she was proud to host it and show the family where she now lives.
Thank you so much for creating such a super afternoon, it was truly appreciated!
Thank you for the lovely review Geraldine, we were so happy to help make this event possible. Its great to hear that all of the family enjoyed the day and that Mum is proud to be a resident at Blossomfield Rose. Shes a great lady!
A close relative came to stay in respite for two weeks whilst her husband underwent open heart surgery. It was easy to arrange the care and view the facilities in advance and gain reassurance that she would be well looked after, allowing her husband peace of mind to focus upon his operation and recovery. She was extremely happy with her care and the support she received. She was able to take part in both on-site activities and get personal pampering arrangements to enjoy her time at the home. Food was excellent in choice and quality, taken either in the dining room or in her private room. She told me that she would not hesitate to recommend Blossomfield Rose to anyone in need.
Thank you Terry for leaving us a review. Its great to know that your relative felt she was well looked after, and you all had piece of mind knowing that she was able to recover well and focus on getting better. Thank you for the 5 star review, it really means a lot.
You can see the facilities Blossomfield Rose offers on the website, a truly beautiful, well appointed and equipped facility, but you can't get a sense of the team behind this amazing home. And it is they, who make this place exceptional. My Dad was admitted with full nursing needs and Mum on self supporting respite care, so that she could be by his side. Dad was always treated with respect, compassion and dignity and Mum was welcomed, supported and utterly cared for during her stay. The nursing staff on Lancaster are without equal, the management team are both efficient and kind and literally everyone, from the maintenance guys, to the beautiful soul who runs the cafe, made our unbearable loss as gentle and supported as it could be. These are the things you also need to be thinking about when considering care for someone you love, and these are the things that Blossomfield Rose absolutely excels at. We will always be grateful to you all.
Thank you for the really beautiful review. We all loved having you at the home and it was a really special thing to get to know you all even though it was such a sad time, it was an absolute pleasure to look after your dad and mum when she moved in to be with him. You are always welcome back at Blossomfield Rose. We will never forget you all.
My mum needed emergency respite. Blossomfield Rose swiftly assessed her and she became a resident within a day or so of our request. All the staff were excellent. The nurses and care staff were first-class, caring and helpful. It felt like being part of a family. I felt happy leaving her there, know that she was in safe, caring and good hands. Thanks.
Thank you for being so kind as to leave us this lovely review. We were so happy to step in and help at your time of need. Its great to hear that you felt she was in good hands and well looked after.
The accommodation itself was simply superb. Clean, yet homely, spacious and inviting.
I want to thank the staff for their care and kindness, right up until our friend's death. From one staff member in particular's care and professionalism at my initial enquiry, to the night she died. The staff member in charge called me at my friends's request and I was let in just before midnight and able to sit with my friend as she peacefully passed away. The care and compassion that staff showed us the next day when we went to collect my friends's belongings was real and heart warming.
Thank you for the kind review regarding care for your amazing friend. She was an absolute pleasure to know and we were all honored to have met with her. Its lovely to know that you felt she was looked after so well and that she had the best care possible right until the end.Thank you
Blossomfield Rose Care Home is outstanding and amazing. Our mom came here for end-of-life care. We didn't know how long she had got, but the care from every team member was just wonderful From flowers in her room upon her arrival, Mom was treated with dignity and respect at all times. It's a shame Mom wasn't able to enjoy all the wonderful facilities there, but in our family's eyes, her time here was like home from home. We cannot thank the staff enough for all their kindness, support and care. Thank you all.
Fantastic place, thank you for the peace of mind and being able to trust in their care
I visit him and feel I am one of the carers.
When visiting tea and coffee are there on tap.
My brother can't move his legs and has to be hoisted into a chair supplied by the management of blossomfield rose.
I am spoken to by name. And my brother has kept his identity.
Last week on a warm day the ice cream man came and the home treated us to a 99 ice cream with a flake.
When I needed advice I spoke on a one-to-one basis.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for your brother's care at Blossomfield Rose. We are very pleased to read your positive comments and to see so many 5* ratings. The team at Blossomfield Rose strives to deliver a 5* service, not only to our residents but also to their families and friends.
All the rooms have a lovely feel about them and the bedrooms are spacious and attractive. It is lovely to be able to walk around or sit outside with Mum in such beautiful large gardens or in the lovely coach house for tea and cake.
A lot of thought is put into special occasions, such as Mother's Day - there was a great singer, lovely decor and an amazing lunch, set up so beautifully. It is nice to be able to look out at the farm next door and see all the animals from the picture windows.
I would definitely recommend Blossomfield Rose.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are extremely proud to receive your five-star review and kind words. Caring for your mum for the last eighteen months has been a privilege and we look forward to providing excellent care in our fantastic facilities for the next eighteen months and beyond. Thank you for your recommendation.
We had to find a replacement care home with 24/7 nursing capability on an urgent basis for my 95-year-old father. Having identified Blossomfield Field Rose, we were very pleased to be able to complete the transfer within a week. All the staff we dealt with were extremely efficient and made my father feel very comfortable and welcome. The home itself is superbly equipped, more like a holiday village than a care home. Although the fees are expensive, they are well worth it for the peace of mind that comes with knowing that your loved one is being well looked after.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. We are so pleased to read you rated your experience 5 stars and the swift service you received to support your fathers transition into the home. We are extremely proud of the team who are always welcoming and go the extra mile to ensure our residents are comfortable and well cared for.
I enjoyed my three weeks stay but unfortunately, the lovely lounge, cinema and library were never used, while staying they never put on a film once or had anything to do!
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. All feedback is appreciated and supports us to review and improve. We're delighted you enjoyed your 3-week stay with us and for the 5* ratings. I'm sorry to hear there wasn't anything on our activity programme that was of interest. We are working on...

As well as guiding families through the process of moving to a care home, I also have an active role in the community in Solihull, attending events and awards, organising events in the home and supporting local groups with fundraising and much more.
The best part of the role is getting to know each resident and their family members, and I believe it’s a real privilege to be part of this journey.
