The Poets is a brand-new, luxury nursing home in the heart of Worthing nestled in secure landscaped gardens.

Their dedicated staff are passionate about providing a high standard of 24-hour specialist nursing care for older people.

The interior of the home is finished to the highest standard, with spacious communal areas and bedrooms. All bedrooms feature en-suite wet rooms and are fully furnished, including a personal fridge, telephones and large wall mounted smart TV’s. The ground floor garden rooms offer personal patios while the first-floor garden rooms enjoy private balconies.

Several bedrooms were created to accommodate two beds, so couples can be together always. These rooms are larger and offer more seating and space. The penthouse rooms on the 2nd floor are designed to allow couples to create their own accommodation as they interconnect; with the potential for a bedroom and a living space if desired.

Many areas are air conditioned and WiFi is free and available throughout the home. The Bistro and entertainment lounge have large glass sliding doors which open out on to the manicured gardens.

My mother is a resident here and I cannot praise the staff enough - caring, professional, experienced and the home itself is quite simply magnificent - beautifully decorated with attention to detail on every level. A place of peace and sanctuary. We as a family thoroughly recommend The Poets wholeheartedly.

When you are trying to do the very best for an elderly relative, where do you start in finding the right nursing home? Please let me share our experience at The Poets. Mum was admitted at very short notice, she couldn't believe how fresh and modern the whole building looked. From day one, the staff
helped her settle in and always respected her dignity in a kind and gentle way. This week, Mum passed away. Through the excellent care and dedication of The Poets team, Mum was able to sleep away, peacefully in her room with her son by her side. A huge thank you to all The Poets team on duty that day, for caring for Mum and us too. At The Poets, the manager was always ready and willing to listen if ever we had things to discuss and indeed, implemented our requests wherever she could. We feel, in our sad time of loss, our friendship with The Poets team will live on.

The Poets is a new build care home that will impress immediately from the approach from the road. Once inside the building it exudes quality and care. The facilities are second to none and go beyond our experience with other homes. My mother-in-law has an incredibly large room with dedicated wet room
although from what we have seen all rooms are oversized. Our need for palliative care at a time when the local hospice was sadly unable to meet the timelines has been met and exceeded.

My husband and I have spent a month in the care home and we have nothing but praise for the care and kindness we have received. The staff are very good at what they do and are always willing to help you in any way they can, I would say I have really enjoyed staying here and would tell all my friends
it's the home to come to if you needed to be looked after.

I visit my friend and I have to say the staff are fantastic. The home is clean with beautiful surroundings. I was present when it was lunchtime and I thought I would have to leave but I was welcomed and offered a coffee and I sat with my friend while she had lunch. The atmosphere was brilliant a lot
of laughter. The rooms are spacious and very well presented.
I would recommend this home to everyone.

Needing urgent assistance after being let down, The Poets amazing staff all pulled together, staying beyond their shift to ensure my parents were safe in the beautiful environment the home offers.
Caring, kind, knowledgable, involved, and a real "can do" approach - I could not recommend them enough.

Dad's room is delightful. He has the comfiest bed and always looks so cosy. He is cared for with tenderness and compassion. The staff are warm, friendly and professional. It gives me great comfort to know he is so well looked after, especially because I live so far away.

My very disabled partner has struggled to come to terms with life in The Poets. Well led staff have risen to the numerous challenges he presented and he is now more relaxed and often cheerful which is a huge relief.

The Poet's cannot be faulted at all in my opinion. Everything is first class as ticked below. Mother loves it here and is her 'home. The staff are wonderful to her. Facilities /food etc exceptional. Would recommend it to anyone.

We found The Poets to be a beautiful nursing home, but think it is too new to appraise it fairly, as all the facilities are not yet up and running, and some of the staff are very new. Our connection with the home was only when we visited, this was only for a two-week period, some of our comments are
