There is a great sense of wellbeing from living in a happy community, and you are guaranteed that at Jubilee House.
DEMENTIA
For those residents living with memory loss, the focus is on enabling them to continue living as well as they are able. It is often surprising to the families of residents with dementia how much of a difference living in an environment which is totally committed to them makes. With dedicated support and with their individuality championed, it is a weight off the mind of most families.
RESPITE CARE
For residents who are looked after at home or elsewhere, just like the home's carers, theirs will need a break at some point, to be able to continue to offer the best care they can. The same services permanent residents receive are available, but simply on a short-term basis. Jubilee House offers a two week minimum respite stay where you can sample the care and lifestyle that is available. Many residents also like to try respite care before committing to living at the home full time.

The care home was very convenient with a lovely garden and extremely pleasant seating areas.
Thank you for your honest review. Sadly, one of the lifts did require a replacement part during your stay but there are 2 lifts in the home and the second one could have been used if it was required. The cinema is available at all times so I am sorry that wasn't clear, I will speak to the events...

The cinema is available at all times so I am sorry that wasn't clear, I will speak to the events team about regular scheduled showings being added to the activity plan for clarity. I am so sorry to hear the mealtimes didn't suit you, had the team have known your preference to eat later than 12:30 for lunch and 5:30pm for supper our chef would have been happy to make a separate arrangement for you, especially given your short time with us. All of your feedback is very helpful and we will use this to ensure we are continuously improving our offering to our residents. Do take care of that shoulder. Warm regards Ann-Marie.

Kat joined Jubilee House in February 2024 as Residential Care Manager and has since progressed to the role of Business Support Admin Manager. Having worked across different areas of the home, she brings a valuable understanding of both the care and operational sides of life at Jubilee House.
With a background that includes five years as a teacher, Kat has developed strong communication, leadership and organisational skills, which she now puts to good use supporting the team and the smooth running of the home. She also holds an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, alongside extensive experience in recruitment, HR administration and compliance.
For Katarzyna, the most rewarding part of her role is knowing that the work taking place behind the scenes makes a real difference to residents' lives. Oliver has been part of Jubilee House since the very beginning, joining the team when the home opened in March 2023.
With 25 years’ experience in the kitchen, Oliver brings a wealth of knowledge to Jubilee House. His career has taken him from pubs and high-end restaurants to working abroad and running his own business, and along the way he has twice been nominated for Chef of the Year.
For Oliver, however, food is about much more than what appears on the plate. One of the things he enjoys most about his role is looking after residents and their families and recognising the important part food plays in people’s lives.
Whether it is a favourite dish, a familiar flavour or a special meal shared with visiting family, Oliver particularly values the way food can bring people together and help create memorable occasions.
Away from the kitchen, Oliver is a keen cyclist and enjoys just about every form of cycling going – from road riding and touring to mountain biking.
