First time using respite for Nan. Despite her nervousness about going in beforehand, she was instantly put at ease when welcomed by the staff. This is more like a five-star resort than a care home. Nan's health, overall, improved during her stay. Food is a bit "too nice" for the elder generation who
have a simpler taste. Staff are always smiling and do their utmost to keep residents engaged and happy.

My mother came for respite care after a serious illness. The staff and managers were extremely caring and friendly both to Mum and to us and other visitors. We always felt welcomed and Mum always felt respected and cared for. The managers and staff related easily to each other and to visitors and residents
and clearly took their work seriously yet brought fun and joy to the residents. We are very happy to have spent time at Butlers Mews and would not hesitate to use the home again and recommend to others.

I have come to visit my nan today. She has not been this happy in a long time. What a fabulous place and the staff are absolutely amazing they really are. My whole family totally agree with me on this also. I will fully recommend this beautiful home going forward.

My Mother-in-law is a largely bedbound resident at Butlers Mews. She has been at the care home since February. The carers at all levels have been polite and friendly to my husband and I. To my Mother-in-law they have been professional. I feel she is safe, comfortable, and generally well cared for -
what more can we ask? The staff's patience seems boundless.

My mother arrived at Butlers Mews Care Home earlier this week after having had a stroke and being given 48 hours. Every single member of staff that we have met in the last few days has been amazing! When it is such a stressful time for relatives, it is so nice to have such patience and understanding
when sorting out issues that inevitably arise. The management of Butlers Mews has gone out of their way to make my 93-year-old mother settle as fast as possible whilst ensuring my father, aged 94, is happy too. The assistant managers have answered questions and been ready at hand in a practical way to sort out issues. The care staff are phenomenal people. What a great team! Thank you.

My mum is a resident and I can honestly say Butlers Mews has made a decision we hoped we would never have to make so much easier. Mum has always had the mantra “I'll go into a home over my dead body!” (and meaning it). Having visited many homes and dreading having to discharge her from hospital into
any care home, the transition has been just about as perfect as it could be. Not only is the whole place beautiful, immaculate, luxurious and like a 5-star hotel, including wonderful food, but even more importantly the staff we’ve encountered have all been wonderful. Caring, always smiling, it’s like a home from home and everything is so peaceful. They have a brilliant array of activities but also don’t force them on people who don’t want to do them. In the last few weeks, Mum has met alpacas and tiny horses, done crafts and chair exercise classes and seen a great magic show. There are so many things she’s been involved in we never thought she would agree to and she’s loved it!

Our friend, whom we have POA for, spent two weeks at Butlers Mews Care Home over Christmas. The rooms are lovely and on observing staff interacting with residents, they are very caring, therefore we felt confident leaving our friend in their care. We needed a meeting with the manager to chat about future
care and she saw us immediately (we were expecting to have to make an appointment) and she was able to answer all our queries. We had previously looked around the home and were very impressed with it.

I love visiting my nanna here. All the staff are so friendly, and my nanna is so, so happy. The facilities are amazing, and it's clean and fresh. Everyone is smiling, and it's so nice to see our older generation being cared for well!

My mum stayed at Butlers Mews for a week respite care over Christmas 2023.
The home is excellent: modern, bright, airy and truly luxurious. All the staff went out their way to make Mum welcome and comfortable. The team cared for her so well. The quality of food was excellent. The daily menus varied
and well balanced, the dishes beautifully prepared and presented.
There were lots of activities to keep the residents occupied and entertained. I was very impressed with the level of inclusiveness and the personal attention residents are given.
Butlers Mews is very well led by the management and senior care team. You can tell they love what they do and take great pride in delivering an excellent service.
I thoroughly recommend Butlers Mews. Thank you for making Christmas 2023 so happy and memorable for my mum and me.

I have visited the care home at various times during the last month. At all times I have found the staff very attentive and caring. The standards there are exceptionally high. The rooms are immaculate and well-equipped. It is expensive but if you can afford it, this is the best place to be. Care home,
it is more like a five-star hotel.

Rooms are a fair size monitored. TV supplied. Staff treat residents with utmost respect and dignity. More like family. Always looks spotless. Cakes and biscuits for snacking are always tasty. Hot drinks are on hand always. Nothing is too much trouble.

Amazing home for your loved ones. Staff are helpful, caring and loving. The manager is lovely. Food is fantastic. The rooms are like a five-star hotel. Everything in this home is out of this world. One of the resident's commented, “I never thought I would see so much loving and caring in my days”.

Mum came in for a period of respite care following a hospital stay. The staff were all lovely, very caring and friendly and made Mum very welcome. The facilities are fantastic, the rooms are so comfortable, the dining room and food was wonderful and having use of the hairdressing room was a bonus. Mum
was very happy with her stay here. We thank you for the care and consideration you showed Mum and all her visitors. With thanks from myself and my wife (and thank you for allowing our dogs to visit too).

Following a weeks respite stay in the Summer my Dad has been living at Butlers Mews for a month now, is settling in well and enjoying being looked after with no worries. The staff are really friendly, caring and enthusiastic about their residents' enjoyment of life. Dad says the food is excellent and
he is happy to be part of the life going on in the social areas of the home. On celebrating his birthday recently they baked him a lovely cake and our family were made very welcome. All his visitors have told us what a nice place they think it is.

  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

I joined Avery in September 2022. Previously to this, I was a Registered General Nurse in 1996 and worked in a private Nursing home. Butler's Mews is the first Care Home I have commissioned, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.


In my spare time, I enjoy, walking and Yoga.

My name is Gina, I am the Deputy Manager at Butlers Mews Care Home. I am a registered Nurse in the Philippines since 1995 and moved to the UK in 2008, where I started as a Senior Carer in a Nursing home. I studied for my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, then I became a registered manager in a local residential care home.


My hobbies include Singing with our residents and dancing.

I started to work with Avery in November 2022, when Butler's Mews was still being built. This was my first role within the Care industry, but I have had previous management experience in the Recruitment and Transport sector, as well as working with a local Charity.


It's been an absolute privilege to be part of such a wonderful Care home from the start, and building relationships with every new resident and their family ensuring the journey and transitioning into a new environment is a smooth and enjoyable experience throughout.


I would have to say this has been the most rewarding role throughout my working history, and it's a pleasure to come to work each day.


My hobbies include spending time with my 3 Grandsons and learning to play the Piano.

I have worked in the care industry since 2007. My role here at Butlers Mews Care Home allows me to deliver person-centred care to each resident which is where my passion is. I love the contact I have with all the residents and families and the wonderful team I work with.


My hobbies include Travelling and Korean dramas and I also used to enjoy Tae Kwon Do and even managed to achieve 2nd-degree blackbelt level 1.

I started to work with Avery in November 2022, and before this, I worked in a Nursing home for 4 years. I became a Senior Carer in 2020 and I'm very passionate about person-centred care.


Currently, I am working on my NVQ level 3 qualification.


My hobbies outside of work included, project managing my home renovations.

I recently joined the Avery team at Butler's Mews Care Home in June 2023. My previous role was as a Maintenance manager in another Care Home. I have been working in ground and general maintenance for over 8 years. I also have experience in passive fire protection.


My hobbies include spending quality time with my family and long walks with my lovely dog Willow.

I started working with Avery in November 2022. I have been a head Housekeeper since 2020 and thoroughly enjoy my job. My role is very enjoyable as it allows me to get to know all the residents and their families.
