The home is excellent: modern, bright, airy and truly luxurious. All the staff went out their way to make Mum welcome and comfortable. The team cared for her so well. The quality of food was excellent. The daily menus varied and well balanced, the dishes beautifully prepared and presented.
There were lots of activities to keep the residents occupied and entertained. I was very impressed with the level of inclusiveness and the personal attention residents are given.

I have visited the care home at various times during the last month. At all times I have found the staff very attentive and caring. The standards there are exceptionally high. The rooms are immaculate and well-equipped. It is expensive but if you can afford it, this is the best place to be. Care home, it is more like a five-star hotel.

Rooms are a fair size monitored. TV supplied. Staff treat residents with utmost respect and dignity. More like family. Always looks spotless. Cakes and biscuits for snacking are always tasty. Hot drinks are on hand always. Nothing is too much trouble.

Amazing home for your loved ones. Staff are helpful, caring and loving. The manager is lovely. Food is fantastic. The rooms are like a five-star hotel. Everything in this home is out of this world. One of the resident's commented, “I never thought I would see so much loving and caring in my days”.

Mum came in for a period of respite care following a hospital stay. The staff were all lovely, very caring and friendly and made Mum very welcome. The facilities are fantastic, the rooms are so comfortable, the dining room and food was wonderful and having use of the hairdressing room was a bonus. Mum was very happy with her stay here. We thank you for the care and consideration you showed Mum and all her visitors. With thanks from myself and my wife (and thank you for allowing our dogs to visit too).

Following a weeks respite stay in the Summer my Dad has been living at Butlers Mews for a month now, is settling in well and enjoying being looked after with no worries. The staff are really friendly, caring and enthusiastic about their residents' enjoyment of life. Dad says the food is excellent and he is happy to be part of the life going on in the social areas of the home. On celebrating his birthday recently they baked him a lovely cake and our family were made very welcome. All his visitors have told us what a nice place they think it is.

She has not only put on some weight (she says the food is fantastic) but her mental state has improved beyond belief as a result of the social interaction and care she is receiving.
Staff appear to be considerate and caring which has taken a weight off my wife, and it is an absolute pleasure to visit her and to see her so happy and relaxed.

It is so very positive to hear you feel things have improved so much since she joined us here and we are so happy you can relax knowing she is with us. We absolutely adore having her with us.
A wonderful home, with such caring staff from the housekeeping to the Management. It’s great that every one of them has time to talk to Mum, not just rush in and do the job, but actually seem to care. Activities every day. If food isn’t quite to her liking they get her something else. Nothing is too much trouble. I feel so much happier knowing that Mum is in good hands.

My dad has been at Butlers Mews Care Home - Avery Healthcare for just over a month now after having a really rough time at another care home, and is so happy. He loves the food, his lovely room and big comfy bed and most importantly the amazing staff. They are so caring and kind and I can't tell you how much of a relief it is that my dad's happy and settled and so well looked after. The managers and their team have been so amazing and patient with my dad and also with me to get everything just how he wants it and we're so grateful!

Our relative is happy and very well cared for. The staff are welcoming and friendly but very professional. The building and surroundings are lovely. This is the perfect home for our relative.
This will be my mother's fourth visit this year! We use Butlers Mews Care Home - Avery Healthcare for respite care while we are away. The staff are exceptional. When we arrive the office staff make you welcome and direct you, the floor staff show kindness and care for my mother. We have met the chef and the laundry manager who again are lovely. The staff all listened to me when I explained the care my mother needs, her eating and drinking requirements which are very important to me (my mother has dementia) as well as her personal care.
We used Butlers Mews for a respite stay lasting six weeks for Dad. The manager and her team were all welcoming and made sure Dad had the best time during his stay. His room was spacious and very comfortable. The food and facilities were excellent as were the staff who were all kind and caring for Dad's needs. The family who visited during our holiday all fed back and commented on how great the place and people are. We are so impressed that we have already booked another stay for Dad later this year when we are away again, meaning we can enjoy our holiday knowing Dad is getting care that is first class and easily worth a 5-star rating. Thanks again to all the team at Butlers Mews.
Our stay at Butlers Mews was amazing. My husband and I were having a bathroom done, so we decided to come and have a respite for a week. The staff were all so caring and friendly. Rooms were excellent. They made our stay fabulous and can't fault them at all. We would stay there again.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay with us at Butlers Mews Sandy and for all the wonderful comments you've kindly made. We are so pleased you both enjoyed your stay with us, and we really look forward to seeing you both again soon.
From making the first enquiry, to moving in, everything was very professional. Mum has been at Butlers Mews now for about 14 weeks, we were welcomed into the home from day one. All staff are very caring and nothing is too much for them. Staff always have time to chat to residents and visiting family. If Carlsberg made care homes ...
Thank you so much for the wonderful five-star review, Emma. We are so pleased you feel the journey from making the first enquiry to moving in was very professional. We adore having Mum here with us and that she has settled so well.

Meet the Team (5)

I joined Avery in September 2022. Previously to this, I was a Registered General Nurse in 1996 and worked in a private Nursing home. Butler's Mews is the first Care Home I have commissioned, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
In my spare time, I enjoy, walking and Yoga.

My name is Gina, I am the Deputy Manager at Butlers Mews Care Home. I am a registered Nurse in the Philippines since 1995 and moved to the UK in 2008, where I started as a Senior Carer in a Nursing home. I studied for my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, then I became a registered manager in a local residential care home.
My hobbies include Singing with our residents and dancing.

I have worked in the care industry since 2007. My role here at Butlers Mews Care Home allows me to deliver person-centred care to each resident which is where my passion is. I love the contact I have with all the residents and families and the wonderful team I work with.
My hobbies include Travelling and Korean dramas and I also used to enjoy Tae Kwon Do and even managed to achieve 2nd-degree blackbelt level 1.

I started to work with Avery in November 2022, and before this, I worked in a Nursing home for 4 years. I became a Senior Carer in 2020 and I'm very passionate about person-centred care.
Currently, I am working on my NVQ level 3 qualification.
My hobbies outside of work included, project managing my home renovations.

I started working with Avery in November 2022. I have been a head Housekeeper since 2020 and thoroughly enjoy my job. My role is very enjoyable as it allows me to get to know all the residents and their families.
In my spare time, I like to keep fit but my main hobby is anything related to cars.
