Squires Mews Care Home - Avery Healthcare

I have had a couple of clients use Squires Mews for respite. I always find the staff helpful and willing to go the extra mile which in turn enables my clients to get the best experience possible during their stay. Squires Mews is a beautiful new building and is more like a hotel than a care home. I would highly recommend making an enquiry to send your loved ones here for respite or even for a longer-term stay.

My aunt stayed here for six weeks of respite care recently and the service and level of care were really good. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and can't do enough for you. The home itself is like an expensive hotel and is kept spotless. My aunt was always encouraged to go to the dining room, to join in with the activities and to spend time in the lovely garden. A massive thank you to you all, especially a certain lady who was always there for a chat.

On our arrival at Squires Mews, we were made very welcome by everyone. My husband was loved and well cared for throughout his two-week stay. The staff were very kind and caring and they did absolutely everything to make sure all his needs were met. My daughter and I were always greeted with a friendly smile each time we visited by everyone and always offered a very welcome coffee etc. When care is needed again you can be sure Squires Mews will be our first call. Thank you everyone.

From the moment of arrival, we knew our relative was in a safe and caring hands. The home is clean, fresh and more a hotel in feel than a care facility! The staff are outstanding, going the extra mile to make residents and their families welcome. The only silent negative is the current carer shortage, we hope this issue will be rectified soon.

Mine and my parent's experience at Squires Mews has been fantastic. The team you have there simply can't do enough to help. Each member of the team is happy to cover duties that should be done by others. You never hear that awful phrase 'not my job'. 10 out of 10 all around. I've only put Good for value for money so you don't ask for more!

My nan is currently in for respite care and we are really happy with the level of care and service that she is receiving. She is eating more and better than she would at home and she is making the most of exercising in the garden with her walker. Very impressed! The customer service manager and all the staff are fantastic.

I cannot fault the care and friendliness we receive from staff. Everywhere is spotless, including the garden. My only criticism is lack of parking.

My husband really enjoyed his stay here. This is only the second time he has been away from him in nine years. As you can imagine, it had to be right. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful, and they encouraged my husband to sit and eat meals in the dining room and had been interacting with other guests. This is a massive step because he would rather sit in his room and watch tele. Being a carer for my husband made me relax him being there.

Following a serious operation, I spent a week convalescing. I found the care to be bordering on perfection. All the staff were wonderful. Plenty of lounges to sit in and plenty of things to do. Beautiful landscaped private gardens. Visitors are always made welcome. Five-star meals...

Although I was worried about coming here, it has been a really good experience. The building is super, and all the staff have been so kind and helpful. Everyone is willing to be helpful and will turn their hands to anything, which means everyone from cleaners, carers, reception, chefs, maintenance and management.

I was very impressed on entering this beautiful care home. It was beautifully decorated; my room was lovely, looking out onto the lovely gardens. The attention to detail was above and beyond my expectations, but most of all, the care, which is really what I needed, having arrived here from the hospital, was excellent. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and soon, got me back on my feet again, plus with a few extra pounds on me, which I know my doctor would be pleased about - also my family. I thank everyone for the help they gave me.

Was able to take a long-awaited holiday knowing my mother-in-law was being cared for in a safe and caring facility. It gave us peace of mind knowing she was in safe hands and being cared for to the best possible standards.

From the moment we first visited Squires Mews, we knew this was the best home for Dad. Only recently opened, obviously, Squires Mews is decorated and fitted beautifully. However, we were looking for the highest standard of care for Dad, and we have definitely found it here. All the team at Squires Mews are kind and friendly and treat the residents and family respectfully. They are all very helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. Dad has already built up great relationships with everyone, especially his carers. The food is delicious - we have joined Dad for meals on a couple of occasions so far. I totally recommend Squires Mews for anyone looking for care for their loved one.

From the moment we walked through the door at Squires Mews, my mother and myself was made to feel welcome, and the staff are fantastic and kind. The care home is beautiful, and my mother's room was lovely. The food was lovely, and my mum ate everything that was given to her; she was only in there for one week, but she will be going back in a few months for another week. She was treated with respect and looked after very well by the kind and caring staff. Thank you.

My lovely mother-in-law is one of the first residents to stay at Squires Mews Care Home for a week's care. What a lovely welcome she had from all the staff. Squires Mews is outstanding, the staff are marvellous and so welcoming to visiting family too! I have not seen my dear mother-in-law looking so well and so many smiles on her face. We took her for a walk around the garden today with her new wheels (mobility walker) she loved it, the garden is beautiful. She has enjoyed all the meals, tea and cake and had her hair done in the hair salon today. She looked like a queen, bless her and also enjoyed a bit of horse racing too in the cinema room. Excellent service, lovely friendly staff and a beautiful place to stay. Thank you Squires Mews for the smiles you have given my mum-in-law, your reassurance, care and wonderful service.
