Mother has been a resident here since September and the level of care and quality of surroundings has been excellent. She is comfortable and all staff I have encountered have been really good and responsive to her needs. Very reassuring to know that she is being well looked after, thank you.

I wouldn't mind moving in to Kings Court myself as the facilities and care on hand look really nice. Although I haven't eaten at the home the food looks very good, with wine offered and also the regular snacks offered including ice creams! The kettle is always on for a cup of tea. It is well decorated and nicely laid out and not like a traditional care home with chairs around the walls and no one talking to one another.

I couldn't imagine a better place for my granddad to be! The staff are incredible; they cater to every need and put thought into every little detail. The facilities are everything anyone could need. I feel a great sense of relief and pride that my grandad is in such trustworthy hands. I can go about my days with no worries that he is ok and receiving everything he needs.

My mother moved into Kings Court nearly two months ago and settled very quickly. She now has a better quality of life and enjoys socialising with all the residents. The staff are outstanding, the food is excellent and tailored to Mum's dietary needs. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We are very grateful for all the wonderful care she receives.

A wonderful, caring community of staff and residents who make the most of this wonderful newly built care home. The facilities are outstanding and the engagement with the local community, including the local Primary School or the Royal British Legion for Armistice Day, make this a very special place. My parents have been very happy here and they really appreciate the warmth and individual care they receive every day. A huge thank you to the Kings Court team.

Mum moved to Kings Court in August initially for a 2-week respite stay, making the decision to remain on a permanent basis as she likes the facilities on hand and says the carers are very kind and 'always know what to do.' The food is very good at Kings Court, all homemade and is something Mum enjoys, especially the mid-am/pm 'treat tray!' The family can book to join her for meals. I like the fact the home is not routine-bound and responds to Mum's needs - if she's had a bad night, they let her sleep in, and she has breakfast when ready. Visiting is unrestricted, and the family can phone the home phone to talk with Mum. The front of house, handyman and laundry ladies have been very helpful. Management is visible at the home and approachable if I have had any concerns, sometimes improving consistency of care by different carers/shifts? I would also say that the standard bedrooms could be slightly larger, especially given the 3/4 size beds (which Mum loves) that take up more space.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It is very important that the home works for our residents – this is not just our home; it is theirs, and they should be able to have visitors, sleep in or have a treat whenever they want!

Excellent care in this home. My friend lost her glasses and straight away the carers were very helpful, and soon they relocated the missing item. I love the visits from the pets. They give pleasure to my friend. The staff were very helpful when I was sorting out an outing. Overall very happy with the service at this care home.

All very clean. Staff all kind and caring. Very nice surroundings, best nursing home I have visited and I have visited a lot too. I have been their carer and still like to keep in touch, as we have become friends. All in all, top marks for this care home. I would definitely recommend it to others.

My mother came to Kings Court reluctantly for respite due to her dementia. All the staff have been exceptionally caring, coaxing her to join in the daily activities and treat her with care and dignity she deserves. Kings Court is like a hotel, well decorated, all areas are light and spacious. The bedrooms are well laid out and brightly decorated. A big thank you to all the staff.

Reply from Terri Kidd, PR Executive at Kings Court

We know that many residents, especially those with dementia, can feel unsure or reluctant about coming into any home, it’s such a big step, but we are confident that once they join us at Kings Court they won’t want to leave! You are right, our staff are exceptional and we are so proud of our fabulous team.
