Hello, my name is Kamila and I am the General Manager here at Hyacinth House.

I've been working in the Health and Social Care Sector for the past 20 years. After finishing my higher education in Poland, I was looking for a new adventure and wanted to learn a new language and culture. I felt England was the perfect place to do just that. I feel privileged to be in a job I feel passionate about. I am grateful that my passions have been rewarded with a fulfilling career.

Myself and the amazing team will continue to deliver outstanding care to all our residents, their families and friends. I always strive to make a difference in people’s lives and find it rewarding when I help somebody to live their life to the fullest. For me, this is what working in care has always been about, and I know that I can continue delivering this mission with the support of my wonderful colleagues at Hyacinth House.

Hyacinth House has been extensively refurbished with premium facilities and beautifully designed furnishings. We are very proud of our home and look forward to giving you a warm welcome.

Hello, my name is Claire, and I am the Deputy Manager.
I was promoted to the new role in March 2026.

I started my career at Hyacinth House as a night senior carer in December 2023 and then as Care Community Lead in early January 2025. I previously worked in care for nearly three decades and have an NVQ 3 in Adult and Social Care. My career started when I provided respite for vulnerable children ranging from 0 to 17 years. As my own children were getting older, I changed direction and worked with adults. I have worked in both nursing and residential care.

In my spare time, I like to read, bake and swim. I also like walking with my husband and dog Ozzy! Spending time with my children, who are now qualified professionals themselves. Plus a little retail therapy, hiking and historical places.

Hyacinth House is such a lovely home. We have caring staff who show so much empathy to ensure our residents are treated as individuals and are genuinely interested and care about each and everyone of them, always with a smile on their faces

Since joining Barchester I have had the opportunity to learn and develop my skills in a supportive environment and deepen my understanding of the home.
I enjoy my role as the Home Administrator, the responsibilities it brings and contributing positively to the administration team.

It’s a privilege to meet residents and their loved ones and assist them in any way I can. I’m very proud to be part of the Hyacinth House Family.

Hello, my name is Andrew and I am the Head Chef.

I have been a chef for 26 years working in various restaurants in Birmingham and the south of England, I have gained experience in all styles of cooking and most aspects of hospitality from fine dining to cafes including catering at the Olympics for a 1000 cover.

Now I want to give something back by doing my best for the residents, by building relationships and giving them what they want and need, catering for all dietary needs.

My door is always open for any resident or family member to speak with me and advise me on what I can do to make them happy, after all that’s my mission.

My name is Matt and I am the Head of Maintenance here at Hyacinth House.

Together with the rest of the team, I help to ensure the home and the environment is safe for our residents and staff. We are constantly looking for ways to improve so that it is an enjoyable place to live and work in.

My favourite part of the job is assisting new residents set up their rooms in a personalised way, hanging photos, moving furniture, and making the new environment as comfortable and homely as possible.

Hello, my name is Anamaria and I am the Head Housekeeper here at Hyacinth House.

The Housekeeping team and I strive to deliver and maintain the highest level of cleanliness and standards throughout our home each and every day.

Hyacinth House is happy to announce our first Home's Ambassador Eveline.

Eveline has proudly taken on the role with a smile and pride. Eveline said: "Hyacinth House is a beautiful and well-kept home. The care is lovely and the food is amazing. A variety of activities are available for you to join in every day, and you have the freedom to do whatever you like to do. As Home's Ambassador, I will do my duties best I can and I will look forward to welcoming everyone in with open arms".

Hi, my name is Hannah and I am an administrator. I have come from a caring background so this is an exciting role for me. Looking after people has always been a natural thing for me. I am thrilled to be working for Barchester Healthcare and supporting the team at Hyacinth House.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time at home with my 3 children and bouncy cockapoo! Family time is important to me so coming to Hyacinth House where I get to see and chat to all the lovely residents, feels like a second home and a special place to be. I am married with 3 children and a grandson and we all love spending time together.

Hello, my name is Maggie, and I am a Senior Healthcare Assistant.

I joined Hyacinth House as it was highly recommended by some friends who are already working there. This is an amazing place to work, and I am proud to be part of the team. We have a great team who are always helpful and supportive, and we strive to deliver personalised care. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my 2 children and baking cakes, which I bring in to share with my colleagues, and apparently, I am a good baker.

My name is Leanne Keeping, and I have been a senior carer since October 2025. I have worked for many years in the care sector, and I enjoy this role very much. I am passionate about the job, and it is very rewarding for me. I enjoy working at Hyacinth House, and it has a good team who all want to work towards the one thing we all care about, which is making a difference to the people that we care for.

I am looking forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of the residents I care for. I also have experience working very closely with GPs and nurses in my previous role as a care practitioner, and I feel that I have developed good knowledge to help me along the way and care for others.

My name is Tanya, and I am a night Senior Healthcare Assistant. I joined Hyacinth House because of its excellent reputation for providing premium care in the lovely area of Wimborne. I am passionate about providing the best possible person-centred care and enjoy being part of a truly dedicated team. I have extensive experience in health and social care gained over many years. Hello my name is Jason and I am a Senior Carer, Continence and Dementia Champion at Barchester - Hyacinth House.
To me, it is important to communicate clearly with residents and families and approach everyone with the same warmth and gentle touch. I value that every person is able to feel comfortable expressing their own identity and have the autonomy to make decisions that are meaningful to them.

In my free time, I enjoy going to my local leisure centre and swimming, taking long walks along Dorset's stunning beaches, and occasionally painting.

Hi, my name is Roland, but I like to be called Fritz.

I first arrived in the UK in August 2022 and have been dedicated to caring for people ever since. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in the Philippines.

In my spare time, I love to travel, spend time with my loved ones, and stay connected with people. I also enjoy playing badminton and pool during my free time.

Hi, I am delighted to join the team as a hostess.

My background in catering properly began when I was a child, helping my Nan with the wonders of cooking using her Aga cooker and utilising all the seasonal fruits and vegetables from her garden.

I qualified at Bournemouth Catering College and spent several years working in a variety of hotels before moving into the business and Industry section of contract catering, where I have worked locally and also across the South coast.

I like to offer good service with a smile and get to know what people like by talking to them and liaising with the Head Chef, and the rest of the team to ensure we all provide a consistent high level of service.

When I'm not at work, I love to eat out with my husband and our friends. I also like jigsaw puzzles, sewing, reading and travelling.
