The Grove has been brilliant and the overall picture for us is of a home that is an amazing 5 star residential care home that have been so caring and kind to our mother .
Management are great and everyone on the whole team are kind and caring .
Residential care homes are not ideal for lots of the residents that stay there for all sorts of reasons but The Grove is very good in our opinion and i would have absolutely no hesitation in recommend it to others in a similar situation to us .
Well done The Grove !!!
We're delighted to hear...

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We were delighted to care for your dad at Cambridge Grove and we are more than happy to help all family members when we can - we're just one big family. We hope to see you soon, when you visit Cambridge.

Thank you very much for the lovely review. It was our pleasure to care for Dad and to help celebrate his 101st Birthday earlier this year, too. Wishing you all the very best - please feel free to pop by for a coffee when you're passing.

My mother became a resident at the Grove in October 24 with advanced dementia, it took a little while for her to settle in, along that journey the staff and management have been great, we began with regular online meetings and updates on her progress until we were all happy she was "at home" in the Grove.
Now nine months later she has settled in extremely well and very much feels part of the community at the Grove, taking part in many of their really good activities along with enjoying the facilities it has to offer including a lovely garden.
The Cambridge Grove is a little more expensive than some care homes, but as the saying goes you really get what you pay for, thank you to all the team at The Cambridge Grove for all you do for my mother.
Thank you for your lovely review. We love having you mother as part of our Cambridge Grove family. It's wonderful to see her participating in our activities, in particular, our musical entertainment in which she enjoys singing and dancing along.
On the 1st April of this year my mother celebrated her 99th birthday at the Grove. All the staff were wonderful and made it special for her. We were able to have an excellent meal with her in the private dining room and her godson and his wife were able to join us which made the day even more...
Following the 'This is your life' episode we all went to the Bistro where the chef had produced a birthday cake to share with the other residents, sadly only one candle, the other 98 were deemed to be a fire hazard!
Well done to all the staff for making a special day that much more special with your wonderful care.
Thank you for your wonderful comments. It was our honour to help celebrate Mum's 99th birthday with all of the family and close friends. We're glad to hear you enjoyed her special day together. We certainly look forward to producing more 'This is Your Life' presentations in the future.
Dad was cared for superbly during 2 weeks respite care. He was treated with kindness, care, diligence and dignity, by all members of staff during a very challenging time. Family were also looked after greatly, especially on Dad's 90th birthday, making special memories many thanks to Cambridge Grove.

This is my first experience of care homes in relation to placing a loved one in one for permanent residential care. I visited a few care homes and found that Cambridge Grove was exceptional and far above any of the others that I saw, in terms of the facilities, the rooms with ensuite shower rooms, the decor, the space, the food, the number and frequency of activities, and the gardens. I also found the people working there to kind, caring, knowledgeable and supportive. I have no connection to the care home or anyone working there, other than my loved one staying there, but I couldn't be happier that I managed to find this home for my loved one.

I was also impressed by the design of the home, the decor and the architecture. The home provides that perfect basis for many activities, none of which are forced on the clients. I would happily recommend Cambridge Grove Care Home to friends and family should respite care or indeed, a care home be needed. I felt reassured when I left him after visits that he was in a safe and caring place.

Thank you for your wonderful, positive, review. The clean and pleasant environment, along with the warm welcome your mum received, really shows how much our staff care about creating a special, comfortable atmosphere for our residents and their families. Your mum is a fantastic member of our Cambridge Grove family, as are you and your husband. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Obviously a new facility, so buildings etc are excellent but staff are also excellent. Very supportive and caring. Would highly recommend.

My mother spent two weeks in Cambridge Grove for respite care after a hospital stay. The whole experience from start to finish for us as a family was very positive despite the inevitably emotional circumstances. The team were responsive, kind and welcoming. They supported our family as we reviewed the options and they were attentive to our mother's needs and preferences. The staff work hard to ensure that residents are given opportunities to socialise and the quality of care was good. Excellent record keeping meant we were kept well informed of our mother's progress. At the end of the two weeks, mum was well enough to return home but we would not hesitate to reconsider the Cambridge Grove for future stays - either for respite or permanent residence.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Cambridge Grove. We're delighted to hear that your family felt supported during you mum's stay with us. We appreciate your kind words and are pleased to know that your mother was able to return home feeling better. Should the need arise in the future, we would be more than happy to welcome her back. Thank you again for your trust and feedback!

We chose Cambridge Grove after visiting a few homes in the area and it was a great decision. The staff are excellent, both the managerial and front of house staff, to the carers, and to the cooks and other staff. The manager, a trained nurse, is excellent, as are all his key staff. The whole team are happy and engaged, which makes the place feel welcoming.
Visiting the home, you see residents busy either doing a scheduled activity or talking to each other, visitors, or staff.
Meals are good, we've eaten there a few times ourselves. Facilities are new, it was built under the manager's supervision a year ago. It's furnished like a luxury hotel.
We're moving my father in law back to his home, and the team have supported this goal strongly. The fact he knows he can go back is giving him confidence to try moving home.
It's wonderful to hear about your positive experience with us at Cambridge Grove Care Home. We are so pleased to hear you found us a supportive, well-run environment, and it's great to hear that you feel the staff have been engaged and dedicated. We would be more than happy to welcome your father-in-law back, any time he needs us. Wishing you well and we hope to see you for coffee soon.
