My mum took the big decision to go into care after a fall, made her realise that independent living was too much. Having contacted a number of care homes, Cambridge Give was the only home to actually reply. They were very prompt and exceptionally helpful in answering all our questions and a chance to
look around the home was swiftly arranged. The process of moving in was swift and easy, and all the staff have been so nice, helping Mum to settle in. The home is more like a hotel than a care home, providing great food, smart accommodation and many activities laid on for the residents. I can't fault the level of care Mum receives, her every need is being cared for. A high thank you to everyone at Cambridge Grove - you are real stars.

My mother-in-law moved into the Cambridge Grove in March, and is settling in very well. Her care has been excellent. Any problems have been addressed well and we feel that we have the opportunity for open and supportive discussions regarding her care. The food is excellent, we have joined her for a
few meals, each one tasty and using fresh ingredients.
The home is new and everything looks beautiful, including the gardens and surrounding park area. We are enjoying visiting and sitting in the gardens together to have coffee when the weather is so good and we also know that she is given the chance of being outside regularly accompanied by homemakers.
The staff are cheerful and friendly to both us and mother-in-law and we feel secure in the knowledge that she is being very well looked after at all times.

I have had two weeks of "respite" at the Grove and I have been very impressed with the care and kindness given to me by all the staff. My overwhelming impression is of a happy and friendly team all working together (I emphasise together!) to make residents as comfortable as possible, and I appreciate
all they have done for me. I would have no hesitation in rec recommending the Grove to my friends.

My elderly mum could not be made more comfortable! Her small suite is clean and well laid out and she has been able to bring her treasured possessions and small furniture with her to make it her real home. All of the décor is brand new, so this helps to make it feel fresh.
The staff is friendly, sensitive,
kind, and caring. They do a great job. They welcome family and friends to visit.
Staff always act in the client's best interests at the centre.
The food is varied, delicious, and freshly cooked. Residents can choose to eat in the airy, light dining room, or take it in their rooms, just as they wish.
Activities are provided, which residents can join in with. In particular, my mum enjoys group singing. The range of activities means that there may be something to please most residents.
The gardens are accessible and staff happily take clients outside when it pleases.
This could not be a better place for assisted living. A good choice! We are grateful Mum is there!

We were lucky enough to come across the Cambridge Grove care home in January 2024 after it had just opened. When I went around, I could already see the potential. The staff were friendly and engaged and the quality of the accommodation was first class. Since my mother moved in in February 2024, the
care and attention that she has received have been excellent. Every new place has its teething troubles, but these have been minor and the management of the home has been on top of things at every single stage. The staff are kind and considerate and keep myself and my sister updated on a regular basis. If there are any problems we know about them immediately. I cannot recommend this home highly enough.

Having known her for a considerable time and am well accustomed to her needs, likes, dislikes, etc. Over the past year or two, she has suffered poor health and spells in the general hospital, which has to address her needs and well-being.
Her stay at Cambridge Grove is and has been most beneficial
due to the standard of care, management and excellent facilities.
As a concerned onlooker, it is most reassuring to know that such a facility exists, and I will recommend it to others.

"Brilliant!" said my very tall husband when I asked him, "How was your stay at Cambridge Grove Care Home," (just 4 miles from the nearby city). This was his first ever experience of respite care - a 2 week stay. He was very well cared for throughout. The food at the home was excellent and the activities
too. As a musician, he enjoyed playing the piano there for the other residents, and it helped maintain his own church organ playing skills. The facilities are lovely, and the views across to the local hospital are stunning.
The personal care by the clinical staff was excellent, especially by one member of staff in particular who was attentive, professional and friendly. It was certainly the right thing, in the right place at the right time for us. We are grateful.
My husband made new friends amongst the other residents and the staff are fond of him too. He will certainly be back for another stay soon! Thank you everyone at Cambridge Grove, we really liked what you did there!

Before stepping into his managerial role, Rex worked as a Senior Nurse at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, where he gained his qualifications as a Registered General Nurse. During his time there, he developed a wide range of clinical and leadership skills that have been instrumental in his success as a care home manager. Rex is deeply passionate about delivering person-centred care, empowering his team, and ensuring residents can live fulfilling and dignified lives. Known for his approachable and compassionate nature, he strives to build meaningful relationships with residents, their families and his team.
