I am delighted to have found Cambridge Grove. It could not be better. The attractive, well-designed home and gardens provide a sense of calm throughout. Above all, the management and staff are outstanding. Against all the odds, they have made my husband's respite stay enjoyable and rewarding. Knowing

I have had nothing but an excellent experience since my grandmother's stay began at Cambridge Grovel. We are always made to feel very welcome on arrival and the staff are always willing to go above and beyond for my Grandmother as well as any needs/requests we may have. I am confident she is in the
safest hands and very much enjoys the daily activities and socialising with other residents. I couldn't recommend Cambridge Grove and its wonderful staff enough and look forward to seeing it expand even more.

I think Cambridge Grove is a superb facility, creating the standard of a first-class hotel with the benefits of good medical care.
The staff are attentive and amazingly anxious to please and generate a wonderfully, friendly and homely feeling.
In total, this is an excellent operation deserving of

Both of my parents are living in Cambridge Grove. I have been very impressed with both the care and the facilities. Nothing is too much trouble, and there is clearly a focus on "person-centred care". This may be a corporately run care home, but the staff have ensured that it has a homely feel. I have
absolutely no hesitation in recommending Cambridge Grove, whatever someone's care needs may be.

Brought Mum in for four weeks respite. Very friendly staff. Alwats willing to help. As only a short period, haven't been able to fairly experience all aspects of care. But the food is all very nice. The home is new, well laid out, nice rooms and all very clean.

My mother-in-law moved into the Cambridge Grove in March, and is settling in very well. Her care has been excellent. Any problems have been addressed well and we feel that we have the opportunity for open and supportive discussions regarding her care. The food is excellent, we have joined her for a
few meals, each one tasty and using fresh ingredients.
The home is new and everything looks beautiful, including the gardens and surrounding park area. We are enjoying visiting and sitting in the gardens together to have coffee when the weather is so good and we also know that she is given the chance of being outside regularly accompanied by homemakers.
The staff are cheerful and friendly to both us and mother-in-law and we feel secure in the knowledge that she is being very well looked after at all times.

I have had two weeks of "respite" at the Grove and I have been very impressed with the care and kindness given to me by all the staff. My overwhelming impression is of a happy and friendly team all working together (I emphasise together!) to make residents as comfortable as possible, and I appreciate
all they have done for me. I would have no hesitation in rec recommending the Grove to my friends.

My elderly mum could not be made more comfortable! Her small suite is clean and well laid out and she has been able to bring her treasured possessions and small furniture with her to make it her real home. All of the décor is brand new, so this helps to make it feel fresh.
The staff is friendly, sensitive,
kind, and caring. They do a great job. They welcome family and friends to visit.
Staff always act in the client's best interests at the centre.
The food is varied, delicious, and freshly cooked. Residents can choose to eat in the airy, light dining room, or take it in their rooms, just as they wish.
Activities are provided, which residents can join in with. In particular, my mum enjoys group singing. The range of activities means that there may be something to please most residents.
The gardens are accessible and staff happily take clients outside when it pleases.
This could not be a better place for assisted living. A good choice! We are grateful Mum is there!

We were lucky enough to come across the Cambridge Grove care home in January 2024 after it had just opened. When I went around, I could already see the potential. The staff were friendly and engaged and the quality of the accommodation was first class. Since my mother moved in in February 2024, the
care and attention that she has received have been excellent. Every new place has its teething troubles, but these have been minor and the management of the home has been on top of things at every single stage. The staff are kind and considerate and keep myself and my sister updated on a regular basis. If there are any problems we know about them immediately. I cannot recommend this home highly enough.

Having known her for a considerable time and am well accustomed to her needs, likes, dislikes, etc. Over the past year or two, she has suffered poor health and spells in the general hospital, which has to address her needs and well-being.
Her stay at Cambridge Grove is and has been most beneficial
due to the standard of care, management and excellent facilities.
As a concerned onlooker, it is most reassuring to know that such a facility exists, and I will recommend it to others.

"Brilliant!" said my very tall husband when I asked him, "How was your stay at Cambridge Grove Care Home," (just 4 miles from the nearby city). This was his first ever experience of respite care - a 2 week stay. He was very well cared for throughout. The food at the home was excellent and the activities
too. As a musician, he enjoyed playing the piano there for the other residents, and it helped maintain his own church organ playing skills. The facilities are lovely, and the views across to the local hospital are stunning.
The personal care by the clinical staff was excellent, especially by one member of staff in particular who was attentive, professional and friendly. It was certainly the right thing, in the right place at the right time for us. We are grateful.
My husband made new friends amongst the other residents and the staff are fond of him too. He will certainly be back for another stay soon! Thank you everyone at Cambridge Grove, we really liked what you did there!

Rubina

Rubina Arunagiri

Job Title: Home Manager Joined: 2026

Rubina brings a wealth of clinical and leadership experience to her role as Home Manager at Cambridge Grove. A registered General Nurse originally trained in India, she began her nursing career in 1997 as a Renal Specialist Nurse at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.


After moving to England in 2001, Rubina built her career within the private care sector, progressing through a range of senior roles and gaining extensive experience in managing services that support people with complex care needs. She has worked closely with multidisciplinary teams, residents and families to ensure care is always delivered with dignity, safety and respect.


Most recently, Rubina managed a large service, leading teams to consistently high standards of care and fostering strong, open relationships with relatives. She also holds a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management, which underpins her calm, confident and supportive leadership style.


Person-centred care and open communication with families sit at the heart of Rubina’s approach. Alongside her management role, she is passionate about mentorship and actively supports nursing students from Anglia Ruskin University, helping them develop confidence, skill and compassion in practice.

Amy is the Home Ambassador at Cambridge Grove Care Home, bringing enthusiasm and a passion for creating a vibrant and fulfilling environment for residents. Originally trained as a teacher, Amy spent many years working in schools before transitioning to the care sector in 2020 as a Lifestyle Coordinator. She thrives on ensuring residents enjoy a happy and engaging experience, from making new friends to rediscovering old hobbies and exploring new interests.
