As a family, we were extremely grateful to Cambridge Grove for providing a short-term respite care home stay for my mother that lasted two and a half weeks, after her live-in care arrangements fell through. The environment of the home for this type of stay was very comfortable, more akin to a hotel
than a care home or other institutional setting. The café area was a lovely spot to socialise and unwind, and most importantly, we were very impressed by the friendliness, care, and compassion shown by the staff towards my mother and her needs. We sincerely thank them for making my mother's stay restorative, relaxing, and enjoyable. All her relatives who visited her during this period shared our gratitude and were equally impressed by Cambridge Grove.
Reply from Amy Milburn, Home Ambassador at Cambridge Grove Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We're pleased that we could support your family at short notice and provide your mother with a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.
Your feedback means a great deal to all of us, and we're especially grateful that your wider family also felt reassured and impressed during their visits. We will be sure to share your kind words with our team.
Thank you again for placing your trust in us-it was a privilege to care for your mother.

The team at Cambridge Grove set a very high bar when it comes to community care home living. I am a friend of a resident who moved into Cambridge Grove two years ago and she is literally thriving, not just existing. From top level management who are approachable and friendly, dedicated and passionate
about thinking outside of the box, outstanding leadership which filters down to each and every team member. The setting is beautiful and of the highest standard without losing its charm, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, feeling like home from home with that extra special touch. My friend thinks of it as her extended holiday where she can get pampered in the salon, enjoy fine dining with family and friends, take part in as much or as little as she chooses with the full and varied activities schedule. The rooms are spacious and you can add your own personal touch. We are invited to regularly join in the activities and thoroughly enjoy them, particularly the live performances: Sunset magic.
Reply from Amy Milburn, Home Ambassador at Cambridge Grove Care HomeThank you very much for your wonderful feedback. We are so please to hear that your friend is enjoying life at Cambridge Grove and utilising the luxury facilities we offer. We are proud of our staff, at all levels, and the work ethic everyone shows, always wanting the best for our residents. Our live entertainers are always popular and Simon (aka Sunset Magic) is a firm favourite with everyone!. We look forward to welcoming you back to participate in future events, in our home, very soon.

Cambridge Grove is a fantastic residential home. Every need of my mothers has been met and their care is second to none. Their attention to detail is great. Everyday the home hosts activities for Mum to join in with which are all aimed appropriately for the people living in the home. The correct balance
of entertainment, physical, mental challenges, fun etc. The food at the care home is always being raved about too. The communication with us has also been second to none. Any problems at all, they contact us immediately. Any needs or requests we have are also met with immediate action and help. This provides us with peace of mind that Mum is getting the best care possible at a difficult time in her life.
Reply from Rubina Arunagiri, Home Manager at Cambridge Grove Care HomeThank you so much for your wonderful review.
It means a great deal to us to hear that your mother's needs are being met and that you feel confident in the care she is receiving. Our team works hard to provide a supportive, engaging, and comfortable environment, so it's especially rewarding to know that the activities, food, and attention to detail are making a positive difference.
We are also very pleased that our communication with you has given you peace of mind during what can be a challenging time. Keeping families informed and supported is incredibly important to us.
Your feedback will be shared with the whole team, who will be delighted to know their efforts are so appreciated.

Nan was a resident at Cambridge Grove and absolutely loved every minute she spent there. She always said how friendly the staff were and how much opportunity she had to join in with activities. She loved going down to the cinema with some of her friends from her floor and watching different movies every
week. Nan really enjoyed the food and like how she was given different options and could request things given enough time. We also celebrated her birthday in their private dining room and the person who looked after us down there was brilliant. We were welcomed with flowers and a card from the heads of department and Nan had a lovely send off with many staff saying goodbye. Overall our experience at Cambridge Grove was amazing and I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere for their loved one to stay

Cambridge Grove is certainly not your average Care Home! The building and grounds are modern and clean, the staff are all friendly and welcoming, the residents are offered lots of activities to keep them busy and entertained, the food is great and the care exemplary.
My mum moved into Cambridge Grove
mid 2025 after initially staying for respite. We knew after her respite stay that there was nowhere else that we would want her to be! She has benefitted so much from the social interaction from staff and other residents and it is such a relief to know that she is safe, well fed and cared for so well by the staff.
We visit regularly and are always made to feel welcome - it's become like a home from home for us too. My children love to visit their Grandma and are always spoilt with lots of attention from the staff and residents too. It's a great place to be able to carry on making happy memories together as a family.
Reply from Amy Milburn, Home Ambassador at Cambridge Grove Care HomeThank you for your review. Your kind words about our team and the care provided are greatly appreciated. We're passionate about making Cambridge Grove feel like home for everyone and we're so pleased to hear you feel that way, too.

We love having your children visit too - they have built a fabulous rapport with other residents on Mum's Suite and we thoroughly enjoy watching their bond with their Grandma.

Thank you again for your trust and support-it's a privilege to care for your mum and to be part of your family's journey.

A superb residential home.
My mother moved in as a resident in July following a respite trial period which she thoroughly enjoyed and continues to do so with her spacious room with garden views, good food on offer and convivial company.
The management and staff are caring, supportive and respectful.
wide range of activities are provided daily to engage with the differing interests of the residents as well as various trips out to venues such as museums, garden centres, with coastal visits in the summer. It's been a pleasure to get to know other relatives as well.
My mother chose to host her 96th birthday celebration for the family at CG for which the chef provided excellent party food and cakes for us in one of the spacious lounges beautifully decorated for the event.

My best friend's mother has recently been admitted to Cambridge Grove and we are all very impressed. The home is calm, peaceful yet still offers a huge variety of activities for the residents to do. I have visited the home and have been overwhelmed by the friendliness of staff and atmosphere of the
home. They have extensive gardens, too, which I'm sure will be utilised in warmer weather!
Reply from Amy Milburn, Home Ambassador at Cambridge Grove Care HomeThank you for your lovely comments. It's great to know friends of our residents can see the positive atmosphere in our home, as well as close relatives. We will definitely be out in the garden more when the weather improves, but some dedicated residents have braved the cool weather over the last few days to plant daffodil bulbs ready for the spring! We look forward to seeing you again, soon.

My mother has really settled into the Grove since coming, firstly on respite care then becoming a resident. . The building itself allows lots of natural light in, which is uplifting. There is a pleasant garden to walk or sit in. The staff are so lovely and caring and go over and above at times. The
activities are interesting ones and really enjoyable. The staff are very good at helping residents mingle with like minded people. The food is also delicious and nutritious and we can join mum in the dining room at times too...
This is no ordinary care home.
Thank you for helping my mum feel 'at home and cared for' ..

we moved our mum into the grove residential care home in September of this year and it wasn't an ideal time for her due to the recent loss of her partner and moving from her home she shared with her partner of 26 years so we had a lot of emotions to deal with .

The Grove has been brilliant and the

overall picture for us is of a home that is an amazing 5 star residential care home that have been so caring and kind to our mother .

Management are great and everyone on the whole team are kind and caring .

Residential care homes are not ideal for lots of the residents that stay there for all sorts of reasons but The Grove is very good in our opinion and i would have absolutely no hesitation in recommend it to others in a similar situation to us .

Well done The Grove !!!

My mother became a resident at the Grove in October 24 with advanced dementia, it took a little while for her to settle in, along that journey the staff and management have been great, we began with regular online meetings and updates on her progress until we were all happy she was "at home" in the
Grove.

Now nine months later she has settled in extremely well and very much feels part of the community at the Grove, taking part in many of their really good activities along with enjoying the facilities it has to offer including a lovely garden.

The Cambridge Grove is a little more expensive than some care homes, but as the saying goes you really get what you pay for, thank you to all the team at The Cambridge Grove for all you do for my mother.

(1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 72 registered maximum number of service users is 14.4, which has been reached with 79 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
