My father absolutely loved The Grove! The staff are so helpful and attentive, nothing seems too much trouble. As a son, living 300 miles away, I have been confident he was cared for. In his later days, Grove staff have helped me personally by offering me food, accommodation and even lifts to the hospital.

My mother became a resident at the Grove in October 24 with advanced dementia, it took a little while for her to settle in, along that journey the staff and management have been great, we began with regular online meetings and updates on her progress until we were all happy she was "at home" in the
Grove.


Now nine months later she has settled in extremely well and very much feels part of the community at the Grove, taking part in many of their really good activities along with enjoying the facilities it has to offer including a lovely garden.


The Cambridge Grove is a little more expensive than some care homes, but as the saying goes you really get what you pay for, thank you to all the team at The Cambridge Grove for all you do for my mother.

On the 1st April of this year my mother celebrated her 99th birthday at the Grove. All the staff were wonderful and made it special for her. We were able to have an excellent meal with her in the private dining room and her godson and his wife were able to join us which made the day even more special
for her. Following on from this my mother was treated to a 'This Is Your Life' presentation which I had helped put together alongside the staff as a surprise, this was I believe to be the first of many for the residents and what a lovely way to find out about someone's life, after all they haven't always been old and I'm sure most were trend setters in their time!
Following the 'This is your life' episode we all went to the Bistro where the chef had produced a birthday cake to share with the other residents, sadly only one candle, the other 98 were deemed to be a fire hazard!
Well done to all the staff for making a special day that much more special with your wonderful care.

Dad was cared for superbly during 2 weeks respite care. He was treated with kindness, care, diligence and dignity, by all members of staff during a very challenging time. Family were also looked after greatly, especially on Dad's 90th birthday, making special memories many thanks to Cambridge Grove.

This is my first experience of care homes in relation to placing a loved one in one for permanent residential care. I visited a few care homes and found that Cambridge Grove was exceptional and far above any of the others that I saw, in terms of the facilities, the rooms with ensuite shower rooms, the
decor, the space, the food, the number and frequency of activities, and the gardens. I also found the people working there to kind, caring, knowledgeable and supportive. I have no connection to the care home or anyone working there, other than my loved one staying there, but I couldn't be happier that I managed to find this home for my loved one.

Such a beautiful care home. Mum is very happy here with all the wonderful staff who look after her so well. She enjoys the great outings & in house entertainment & activities, always lots to do.

This was the first time I had been to a care home and not only was I impressed by the kindness of the staff. I was also impressed by the kindness of the staff. I was also impressed by the design of the home, the decor and the architecture. The home provides that perfect basis for many activities, none
of which are forced on the clients. All in all a wise choice for a residential or respite stay.

My father came for respite care after a stay in hospital. He was looked after with care and kindness by all members of the staff. The facilities were excellent, food was good. I would happily recommend Cambridge Grove Care Home to friends and family should respite care or indeed, a care home be needed.
I felt reassured when I left him after visits that he was in a safe and caring place.

From entering Cambridge Grove Care Home when we came to visit to look around, we were struck at how beautiful the Grove smelt and how clean it was. The staff are fantastic and my mum's welcome on her arrival day was overwhelming and made mum feel very special - something that is so important. Overall

My mother spent two weeks in Cambridge Grove for respite care after a hospital stay. The whole experience from start to finish for us as a family was very positive despite the inevitably emotional circumstances. The team were responsive, kind and welcoming. They supported our family as we reviewed the
options and they were attentive to our mother's needs and preferences. The staff work hard to ensure that residents are given opportunities to socialise and the quality of care was good. Excellent record keeping meant we were kept well informed of our mother's progress. At the end of the two weeks, mum was well enough to return home but we would not hesitate to reconsider the Cambridge Grove for future stays - either for respite or permanent residence.

My father in law moved into Cambridge Grove Care Home in October 2024 following a stay in hospital due to acute delirium. He has early stage Alzheimer's.
We chose Cambridge Grove after visiting a few homes in the area and it was a great decision. The staff are excellent, both the managerial and front
of house staff, to the carers, and to the cooks and other staff. The manager, a trained nurse, is excellent, as are all his key staff. The whole team are happy and engaged, which makes the place feel welcoming.
Visiting the home, you see residents busy either doing a scheduled activity or talking to each other, visitors, or staff.
Meals are good, we've eaten there a few times ourselves. Facilities are new, it was built under the manager's supervision a year ago. It's furnished like a luxury hotel.
We're moving my father in law back to his home, and the team have supported this goal strongly. The fact he knows he can go back is giving him confidence to try moving home.

Since my sister moved to Cambridge Grove Care Home recently my wife and I have visited her twice and have been very impressed with the care home. The staff are very caring and friendly and have always been very helpful. The home itself is very well appointed with all mod-cons and residents with various
mobility issues are well catered for. In all, a lovely home. I wouldn't mind living there myself!

Lovely atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and very competent. Nothing is too much trouble. Very welcoming from the moment you enter. Spotlessly clean. Lovely decor and the rooms are spacious, well maintained, with everything you want in them. Everyone is treated with the utmost respect.
