My parents weren't able to stay in their own home for their safety (Mum's dementia, Dad infirm and exhausted after being a full-time carer) I made the difficult decision to move them to residential care. I'd been speaking with Henbrook before the move and found them helpful, knowledgeable and reassuring,
giving me confidence that Henbrook is the right place for them.
I've been blown away by the care and attention they've had. My Mum has had constant attention and activities to engage (it's like a cruise on land!), my Dad has had respite time to recover, the 1 to 1 care he's desperately needed and is now also engaging with activities and coming to terms with the big decision.
The home itself is amazing! Purpose-built, brand new, 5-star accomodation. The food is really yummy and they want for nothing with as much tea/coffee and soft drinks as they want with tasty snacks. There's even a bar for something stronger. The staff are all lovely and are sending me daily pics. Could not be happier.

I have worked in the care industry for over 29 years, 23 of those years have been as a Registered Manager. I have worked in large services, turnaround projects and refurbishment projects.


I am passionate about delivering high-quality service to the residents in my care while building dedicated, passionate teams to support that vision.


I believe in high person-focused care, with the care home being led by the residents. My skills and experience will bring life to this state-of-the-art facility to allow our wonderful residents to live better and more extraordinary.
