Very comfortable and modern with excellent friendly staff.
We were delighted that you chose Furze Field Manor for your respite stay and it has been so lovely to see you keeping in touch and coming back to join us for a coffee, lunch and even some activities and to catch up with the friends you made whilst staying with us. Thank you for taking the time to...
The staff are all very engaged with the residents and their families: helpful, professional, and above all genuinely caring. The quality of the food is exceptional. All of the support activities (housework, laundry, IT etc.) are carried out smoothly and effectively as part of the running of a friendly home. Communication from the managers and care staff of the home has been diligent, timely, and proactive: I have not had to spend any time chasing things up.
I feel that my mother is safe and well looked after by people who care about her as a person.
Thank you for your feedback which is much appreciated. It is lovely to hear that you are happy with all aspects of our service and that you feel your mum is safe and being cared for by people who care about her as a person. This very much aligns with our core values and ethos. Your positive...
My dad initially stayed at Furze Field Manor for respite care. A sudden further change meant he required full time care and our immediate choice was Furze Field. I'm full of praise for the way the home is run and for the staff that work there. The home is clean and welcoming and the food is brilliant! The staff are kind, friendly, caring, respectful and thoughtful and always professional. The last few months have been incredibly hard for us as a family and we have all been supported in varying ways by Furze Field. We could not have asked for more, as Furze Field is like home from home. Even my teenage sons look forward to a welcoming environment where they can spend time with their granddad. We have been able to enjoy time as a whole family, having a delicious lunch with my father. I can honestly say many of the staff who look after my dad have become friends who I trust and respect. Thank you to all at Furze Field for bringing some light and kindness to us at a very tough time.
Thank you so much for this amazing feedback! It means a great deal to hear that we've been able to support you and your family during such a tough time - not just by caring for dad but welcoming the wider family to the home to join dad/granddad for meals and hopefully providing a listening ear and...
I booked my mum in for respite care for 10 days whilst I was away on holiday. She enjoyed the support and care of the kind staff, made friends with the other residents and meal times were a highlight. Mum left here to more happy and relaxed person. Thank you.
Thank you for choosing Furze Field Manor for your mum's respite stay. It was our pleasure to take care of her whilst you were away. Your mum made some lovely friendships which we would love to see continue so you are both very welcome to come and visit any time or perhaps come and have lunch with...
But the staff at this home managed to cope with this and support him with great kindness, good will and patience.
The whole team in every department is doing a great job. Being a brand new purpose-built home, it has excellent facilities and the interiors are calm, spacious, comfortable and beautifully designed.
Special mention to the chef and his team. The menu was interesting, healthy, varied and beautifully served.
I think we are lucky to have Furze Field Manor close by.
Thank you to everyone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback on your husband's recent respite stay. It was our pleasure to take care of him and, hearing your feedback means a great deal to the entire team at Furze Field Manor. We are indeed very fortunate to have a purpose-built home that enables us...
Very pleased with the care given to my wife during her two-week respite. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The home is kept very well and clean. Food and restaurant are very good. Good menu. Amazing staff. Hope to be back soon.
It was our pleasure to take care of your wife during her stay at Furze Field Manor and it is lovely to see such positive feedback about the home, the dining experience and our amazing team. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We very much hope that you will consider Furze Field...
My Mum initially agreed to a trial respite stay at Furze Field as a backup plan for her care when it became necessary. Within two weeks my Mum looked happier and healthier than I have seen for some time and she could not speak highly enough of the home and especially the staff, and the food! Mum then asked if she could remain there permanently rather than return to her home where she lived alone as she realised her needs could be much better met by remaining there. The home itself is beautifully decorated and furnished with so much careful attention to detail and there are various activities available to residents. I have nothing but praise for the wonderful care team at Furze Field who have shown my Mum nothing but kindness and care since she moved in whilst supporting her both practically and emotionally to remain as independent as she possibly can. All this alongside an incredible menu every day makes for a very happy Mum and a very happy and grateful daughter. Thank you all!
Thank you for your lovely feedback; we are delighted that your mum decided to make Furze Field Manor her permanent home after her trial respite stay. Your positive feedback about the home and the services we provide is gratefully received and means a great deal to the entire team at Furze Field...
Called Furze Field Manor in a panic to try and find onward respite care for Mum who was in hospital and following recommendations from her current carers at home. Very friendly and efficient process of being able to view the home, assess her in the hospital and arrival at the home. Beautiful place with wonderful staff. Had a few teething issues as everything so new and mum not the easiest but everything was sorted quickly and efficiently. Food wonderful and she is beginning to look so much better after just a few days.
My mother moved into Furze Field Manor for respite following a period of illness. We chose this home, for its peaceful setting, cleanliness and for its immaculate purpose-built design. After 14 days of respite, we experienced a complete transformation in my mother's well-being. The facilities, atmosphere and commitment by the carers are second to none. My mother felt secure in this environment and quickly gained the strength to find her confidence again. I cannot speak more highly about the professional way this home is run. The staff engage fully with their residents, using humour and positivity as a tool for rehabilitation. My mother left the home a happier, healthier person all thanks to the care she received. The food provided by the Chef also deserves a special mention. Thank you to the Management and the Care Team for making my mother's stay so enriching.
Thank you for your lovely and such positive feedback. It was our pleasure to look after your mother and very rewarding for the team to see how her stay with us had such a positive impact on her recovery and well-being. Your mother was great fun to have at Furze Field Manor, a wonderful sense of...
A wonderful life-saving experience for my wife. Without the help of all the Staff at Furze Field Manor and the care and attention she received her recovery would have been difficult and prolonged. The whole ambience of Furze Field was so very welcoming with beautifully crafted lights and furnishings but none of this would have mattered without the constant care and attention provided by all the Staff to their residents. That was what, more than anything, made Furze Field so special.
Your feedback means a great deal to the entire team at Furze Field Manor - thank you! It was our pleasure to be able to care for your wife during her recovery. It was also a pleasure having you visit us during your wife's stay and you are both very welcome to come and see us again at any time, even just to have a coffee and to say hello. Thank you again for choosing Furze Field Manor.
From start to finish the staff are very professional and will work with your loved one and family to tailor make care plans to meet individual needs.
Mum enjoyed her stay here, in the comfortable surroundings.
The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
I would highly recommend Furze Field Manor whether you're looking for short or long-term care, which feels like home from home.
Thank you again, team.
Thank you for providing such a positive review; it was our pleasure to have your mum come to Furze Field Manor for a respite stay. We'd love to have Mum come back for another stay at any time and hope that you will keep us in mind for any future needs.
My aunt was very hesitant about coming into the home for respite care however from setting foot through the door everyone was so lovely and welcoming putting all her fears at rest. All of the carers have encouraged her, calmed her and supported her in all of her needs. Thank you for a great time, we would highly recommend the home.
Thank you for taking the time to provide a review of your aunt's stay at Furze Field Manor, it means a great deal to our team to hear that she enjoyed her stay despite her initial hesitations about going into a care setting. She was a joy to look after and we hope that we have another opportunity to take care of her in the future.
Mum entered this care home after a short stay in hospital. We had previously viewed the home with her before they were officially opened. The facilities here are new and the standard is excellent. Unfortunately mum was only here for a short time as she passed away, but whilst there the staff cared for her wonderfully, helping her with her meals and including her in activities where possible. I would highly recommend this home.
The team here at Furze Field Manor would first like to thank you for your kind words. We were privileged to be able to care for you mum. Please extend our condolences to the family, and thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience.
If you are looking for a care home in the South East this is a must-see. It is brand new, purpose-built and in immaculate condition. All of the staff are extremely competent, and compassionate and clearly enjoy working at Furze Field Manor. Despite my father-in-law initially being reluctant to give up independent living, he was very quickly won over by the facilities and atmosphere of this care home. Not to mention the amazing chef who prepares restaurant-quality food each day. It is set within the Sayers Meadow housing estate, in a lovely, small village with a local church, pub and shop. Do go and visit, you won't be disappointed.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. The team here at Furze Field Manor would first like to thank you for your kind words. We strive, as a team, to work closely with our residents so we can provide the very best care for each individual in our home, and we are glad to have made a difference. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit.

With over 30 years of experience in the care sector as a Registered Nurse, Jacquie has dedicated her career to elderly care and care homes. Having worked as both a Registered Nurse and Home Manager, she has also taken on senior leadership roles as an Operations Area Manager and Regional Manager for two large healthcare companies. However, her passion for hands-on care led her back to the role of Home Manager, where she thrives on daily interactions with residents and their families.
Jacquie remains a Registered Nurse to this day, believing it is essential to keep her clinical skills active. Her primary responsibilities include ensuring the highest standards of care for residents, overseeing the smooth running of the home, and guiding her team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care that promotes independence, privacy, and dignity.
What Jacquie loves most about her role is the personal connections she builds—whether it’s with residents, their families, or her care team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and three lively Jack Russells and escaping to Spain, where she can relax with a good book.

Sara has worked in care for over 10 years.
She began her journey as a Senior Care Assistant, where she developed a deep passion for dementia care, leading to her completing her NVQ Level 3 and progressing to the role of Team Lead.
Her passion remains centred on ensuring that those living with dementia, or in a care home setting, experience a quality of life filled with care, empathy, and compassion. She believes this is her role and purpose. Now, as the Customer Relationship Manager, she continues to lead with these values, striving to provide meaningful interaction and engagement for every resident, while also supporting their families as they navigate the care journey.

A perfectionist with a keen attention to detail, she is passionate about ensuring that our residents feel at home and comfortable in a spotless environment.
