Following some surgery, I took a stay at Silverbirch for respite. This turned out to be an excellent decision. The place is modern with very good facilities and I had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking some woodland. All the staff were very attentive. caring and friendly and your emergency call button brought efficient help when required. The restaurant was nicely laid out and with a 3-course/2-choice meal for lunch and dinner, there was always something to tempt the palette, breakfast was your choice to have. The garden is a lovely place to meet other residents and of course family and friends who wanted to visit, along with a bistro bar serving a wide range of drinks and homemade cake!. I would highly recommend Silverbirch for a period of respite, or resident care if necessary. Thank you to all who looked after me!.

Imagine our surprise when we heard that she had agreed to go out for a day trip in the minibus!! Steve has worked in the hospitality industry, hotels, restaurants and corporate sectors. He has recently mentored the NHS Chef of the Year winners and was awarded a 'Culinary Hero Award' from the Craft Guild of Chefs in 2023.
In his spare time, he enjoys making his own salt beef, following Horsham FC in the National League South, attending concerts and walking his Jackapoo around the South Downs or Surrey Hills.
