My journey in care began over 26 years ago when I started working in a care home kitchen. From those early days, I developed a passion for supporting older people and making a positive difference to their lives. Determined to learn and grow, I progressed through a variety of roles within the care sector, gaining valuable experience and qualifications along the way, before ultimately becoming a Home Manager.
Over the years, I have worked across dementia care, residential care, nursing care, and community services, supporting individuals with a wide range of needs. This broad experience has given me a deep understanding of the importance of person-centred care and the impact that kindness, dignity, and respect can have on the lives of residents and their families.
As Home Manager, I am committed to creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where residents feel safe, valued, and truly at home. I believe that every person has a unique story, and my goal is to ensure that the care we provide reflects each individual's preferences, choices, and needs.
