I have worked in Mental health since 2013, during this time I worked from being a volunteer support worker in the community, a support worker in a psychiatric hospital, senior support worker in the psychiatric hospital, to then going back into the community and becoming deputy manager for Dignity In life before achieving my Level 5 in leadership in Health and Social care and taking over as Registered manager for all of Dignity In Life's mental health care homes. I am also currently working on achieving my Senior Leader Level 7.
I have a real passion for helping people and working with those going through a difficult time.
I really enjoy reading, going for walks with my two Labradors and watching rubbish reality TV.
I have worked in many industries but felt the pull of working in care a few years ago and never looked back.
I enjoy making a positive impact on people’s lives. Seeing someone smile because of something I have done for them makes me feel proud.
I enjoy watching football (Liverpool!) I also enjoy playing it.
I am the funniest member of staff with all the jokes (well, I like to think I am)
I’ve worked in care for 10 years on and off, It’s the most rewarding role I’ve ever had, and I’ve worked in every industry going!
Being there to make people laugh and pick them up when they are having a down day makes me go home at the end of the day with a smile on my face.
I don’t have much time to myself but I do love going home to my two babies, I even miss changing nappies when I’m at work! I do love to go on holidays and love a tan!

Growing up I didn’t see myself in care and worked in different industries. I tried home care and realised I loved working with people particularly people with mental health struggles.
I like to spend my free time reading books about the past which involve things that are about to happen in the future, I also like selling old cars and bicycles.
