Mum is always clean, in fresh clothes and her hair tidy, and nails manicured. This is important not only for her, but for me, as she has always presented in this way. Overall, she seems to have settled in well. The home provides various activities which mum has started to join in and enjoy. It appears to be a stimulating environment for her.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience.

The home itself is beautiful, location is perfect, scenic views of the lake, amazing sunset views. Secure grounds, plenty of space for residents to walk around safely. Home is always neat and tidy. Residents Rooms are lovely and always clean.
All staff at the home have been amazing throughout mum's stay. Caring, understanding, attentive. Communications to myself regularly on how mum is getting along, any changes or concerns escalated quickly, staff already have steps in place or give clear options.
Mum is eating more whilst being around other people, laughing and joking again, steadily getting back to herself. Onsite hairdressers and nails, feet, doctor visits.
Plenty of activities daily. I'm super pleased with mum's care at Samuel. Mum is so much healthier and happier too.

My dad stayed at Samuel House for 2 weeks respite care. He thoroughly enjoyed his "holiday" and is keen to go back for another stay. Very welcoming atmosphere. His room was very clean and comfortable and he enjoyed spending time in the lounge and dining room. The food was fabulous and we were encouraged to join him for meals. All the staff were very kind and welcoming and we found nothing was too much trouble for them. There were lots of activities planned throughout the day including a trip to the pub. The highlight of the stay was the staff. All very kind, hardworking and thoughtful.

My lovely Mum came to stay in Samuel House while my partner & I had a short holiday. I was very nervous about leaving her, this was the first time since she has needed round the clock care. As soon as we arrived, we were both made so welcome, such lovely, friendly, caring staff. Mum's room was so lovely, everything she could need was to hand. I unpacked for her & made sure she was settled & must admit I did shed a few tears when I left her. I felt confident though that she would be well cared for, & I had no need to worry. Mum couldn't praise the staff enough when I picked her up at the end of the break, she said to food was excellent too. I was very impressed with Samuel House, it's an extraordinary care home, we will definitely be using it again for all Mum's respite care. Thankyou so much to all the wonderful staff.

Thank you for your wonderful review. We are so pleased your stay with us at Samuel House and look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Thank you.
My brother has been here for a month now and has settled in well mainly because he has been welcomed and made to feel its his home. The staff are all so lovely and everywhere is so clean and well cared for. His bedroom is very pleasant as well. I recently had the opportunity to stay at Samuel House Care Home for two weeks and I must say, my experience was overwhelmingly positive. The accommodation was nothing short of excellent - everything was brand new, impeccably clean and well-maintained. It truly felt like a comfortable and welcoming environment. The food provided was also a highlight of my stay. The menu offered a wide variety of choices and the staff were more than willing to adapt meals to suit individual needs, ensuring that everyone could enjoy their dining experience. What stood out the most, however, was the care staff. They were consistently polite and genuinely caring, always ready to assist. Whenever I pressed the buzzer, they responded promptly, making me feel valued and attended to throughout my stay. Overall, I highly recommend Samuel House care home for anyone seeking quality care in a pleasant setting. It exceeded my expectations in every aspect.
