My friend aged 84 was taken to Carlton Court Care Home in November 2016 owing to her dementia as she was unable to look after herself. I went and still do visit her once a week. I must say that I was so impressed by the staff and management showing their care professionalism at all times.

The best way to describe care home experiences is probably when things go wrong. As they do in plenty if instances, but we can confidently say Carlton home staff, nurses and managers all react positively to resolve arising problems or issues relating to medication, personal care and the well being of all residents come first. Their happiness and comfort is paramount. The great matters of Health and Safety are taken very seriously as well as a positive complaints procedure. On the whole the one-to-one staff are proactive, extremely well trained and communicate with families and residents professionally. Without a doubt based on our experiences we would recommend Carlton Court to everyone.

I was invited to view the work done at Carlton Court, by your Community Development Manager. It was plainly obvious that the manager, within her telephone manner, has a very professional attitude and approach with regards to quality of care for the elderly. That was very heartening to see.

The premises are obviously well designed to suit purpose, function and organisation, looks well in keeping with high professional standards. This is predicated by the fact the place was being repainted when it so obviously did not requite redecorating. That spoke volumes!!

I sent my next of kin to stay at Carlton Court for rehab for 3 months. She is a very demanding person who needed specialist care and nursing, also physiotherapy, Carlton Court went out of their way to provide that. Her condition improved markedly during her time there and despite her impossible demands Carlton Court staff were able to cope, albeit with some difficultly, which was not of their making.

Sadly my dad was only in the home for a few days before he passed away. However, in those few days we were so impressed with everything about Carlton Court. The home is run very professionally and the staff were all excellent. We felt totally at ease having dad in their care. We were updated on dads condition every day when we visited and the carers went out of their way to accommodate our requests. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and when dad sadly passed away we were treated with respect and allowed space and time to grieve. We are very thankful to them for making dads last days the best they could have been in the circumstances.

I completed my Bachelor's degree in nursing in India in 2008 and worked as a Paediatric nurse from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, I came to the UK and started my Master's in advanced nursing whilst studying and working as a unit leader in a care home. I have over 15 years of experience in the hotel industry, having worked across five countries and gained a strong understanding of hospitality and guest experience.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of hospitality settings, from pre-opening projects to different hospitality concepts, which has allowed me to adapt and grow within the industry.

I am service-focused and always look for ways to make a meaningful impact in everything I do and with everyone I meet.

In my free time, I enjoy travelling and exploring different cuisines and cultures. I also have a keen eye for art and create digital pieces inspired by “art with a message.”
