Woodside is so well run. The management is very good and the staff are so helpful and kind and that also goes for the entertainment. Well done Woodside.

I went to Woodside for two weeks convalescence following a hip replacement operation. Quiet accessible location with no noise from traffic. Modern building with sensible windows that can be left open when unattended or at night. Conscientious and well-presented staff who were cheerful, helpful and caring.
Varied, appetising food appropriately presented. Rooms and common parts cleaned every day. TV in all rooms. Laundry service and hairdressing available. Telephone in the room and visitors pleasantly welcomed. Optional activities enjoyed (music). A uniformly good experience.

My experience to my sister living here for the last four months is brilliant. Cleanliness, decor, staff etc is so nice. I personally don't have any complaints about it. My sister does have a few issues with some things on some days, but I think that could be for 'always' as she is getting used to being
away from her own home! I would like to thank you on my behalf as for as far as I'm concerned she couldn't be in a better place and the 'fete' was outstanding by everyone as difficult weather conditions on the day. Super time had by all, entertainment, food, drinks, staff etc excellent.

The home is welcoming and comfortable. It is situated in a beautiful part of Bath and provides a great location for the residents including lovely grounds to enjoy.
The staff are all friendly and the scale of the facility means they quickly know everyone. My father was there for respite care as he
transitioned from hospital on to some sheltered accommodation. He was happy and well cared for.

Whenever I visit my mum her room is tidy and usually really clean. The staff are always very polite and helpful. I am a little concerned about mum now that she is less able to move and use her arms, that she may miss out on food and drinks, as I found an untouched cup of tea last time I visited and
remembered I had helped her the previous time. Food is the thing she complains about, which is a shame as it is one of the few pleasures she has left.

The compassion and sheer professionalism of the care shown to my mother by all the staff was a great comfort to her family. From her arrival to her last days she felt comfortable, welcome and respected; forming friendly and trusting relationships with the nurses and all other staff. The food is good,
the atmosphere is friendly, the environment, inside and out, is very pleasant. I am very grateful to have found this excellent home for her to spend the last months of her life in such safety and comfort.

This is a wonderful care home. I have visited many residential homes but this will be amongst the very best. Clean, bright, well decorated and very welcoming. Staff are professional and welcoming and residents all appear very happy.

The resident lived at Woodside for several years until her death this month. The care provided was always professional, friendly and flexible in terms of meeting her personal specific needs.
The warm and caring atmosphere was evident to all who visited. Family members found it easy at all times to
communicate on any issues with management and staff and experienced a genuine sense of welcome and support.
The programme of activities and outings for residents was excellent. The end of life care plan was implemented with dignity and efficiency. A huge thank you to everyone.

Both my husband and I are visiting our lifelong friend since the start of Jan 2018. We are tremendously impressed with the level of care given to the residents. The staff are always smiling, very patient and above all wonderfully compassionate. They are all without exception very helpful, this includes
administration. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. Visitors are treated with the utmost respect as are the residents.

My mum has been a resident at Woodside for the past two years having suffered a severe stroke. We were recommended this care home by a friend and have absolutely no regrets. All the rooms are of a very high standard, as are the public areas. The building and gardens are all well maintained providing
very pleasant seating areas for residents, family and friends.
Most importantly we have always found all the carers to be excellent, being kind, courteous and respectful when dealing with residents and are welcoming to us. Food is important and always looks appetising and varied. We would have no hesitation in recommending Woodside as being one of the best in Bath.
