My mum did have a couple of low days but a quick chat with the staff and my next visit her mood was lifted.
What a lovely clean care centre. All the staff we met and dealt with were professional and helpful. Mum was always clean, hydrated and fed. She was greeted by name and spoken to in a caring manner

I was very impressed by the loving care given by the staff to my husband and family. They listened to our requests for his care and were always kind and sympathetic with time to talk with us.

My mother was in the Princess Christian Care Centre for three weeks. You could not have had better attention all the carers were excellent and could not have done any more for you. Everyone was jolly and always had a smile on their face.

My wife was terminally ill with a brain tumour. We approached the Princess Christian Care Centre while my wife was a patient at hospital. From our first telephone call to the care home we were treated with respect and given all the information needed to make a decision. The courtesy of the staff was excellent and the manager was kind, considerate, helpful and took on the organising of the transit and care of my wife. Despite only being in their care for 8 days, my wife was most comfortable, peaceful and truly well cared for. I have no hesitation in recommending this care home.
My mother enjoyed her last year at the home and it was a pleasure to visit her.

She was always clean, her hair brushed and in clean clothes. Mum was unable to do anything for herself and could not move or communicate. The staff were in contact with me on a regular basis. I couldn't ask for more.
Princess Christian provided amazing care to my father during his short stay. Nothing was too much for the staff. As he was bed bound, it was lovely to see them taking the time to spend with him.

My mother was a resident here for nearly 4 years. In all that time she was given wonderful care and shown great dignity at all times. As a relative I was always made to feel welcome and always had no reluctance to approach any member of staff if there were any concerns with my mother. It is a very peaceful setting, and the building although Victorian in age, is modern throughout.
I would recommend this care home to anyone.

My husband was in his home for 19 months the treatment he received was wonderful. The staff were always on hand to care for his needs. They were all very attentive. Even the cleaners would stop and chat to him. I cannot fault the home at all.

My relative had to be moved into care quickly due to a fall and we were able to get a room for her immediately on a Sunday. Her care was excellent nothing was too much trouble. The nurses were always watching our for any change in her condition when she was referred to the GP or the local hospital. Drinks and meals were serves promptly and the menus has a range of choices. Sometimes the portion sizes were too large but this changed in due course. There are a number of activities for the residents to take part in including outings in the mini bus to local nurseries for coffee, flower arranging, crafts etc. This is an excellent care home with good care and dignity shown to all residents.
I have been treated with great care and support by all the staff in the Bisley Unit. I cannot thank them enough for their help since I took up residence in the home in December 2015.

My father has been a resident for over a year. When admitted, he was in such poor health that I did not expect to still have him with us for very much longer. I am convinced that my father would have passed away many months ago if it were not for the excellent nursing and general care he receives...
I cannot recommend this care centre highly enough. All the staff from the cleaners, carers, nurses and management are always helpful and friendly. They treat my father with the utmost respect and dignity. My mother was understandably concerned when my father was first admitted to a nursing home, but now she is completely at ease knowing that my father is well looked after and in safe hands.

From the beginning of her career, she developed a strong interest in supporting people living with dementia and has spent much of her professional life working with residents affected by dementia.
In 2018, Nisha further developed her specialist knowledge by successfully completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Dementia Studies. This strengthened her understanding of dementia care and enhanced her ability to support residents with complex and individual needs in a person-centred way.
Throughout her career at PCCC, Nisha progressed through a number of clinical and leadership positions, including Lead Nurse, Unit Manager and Deputy Manager. These roles enabled her to develop extensive experience in clinical care, team leadership, safeguarding, staff development and the day-to-day management of care services.
In recognition of her leadership and contribution to the care sector, Nisha received the Frontline Leader Award at the Great British Care Awards in 2021. This was an important milestone in her career and reflected her commitment to residents, colleagues and high standards of care.
In 2023, Nisha became a Queen’s Nurse, recognising her commitment to professional development, leadership and improving the quality of nursing care.
Following her progression through various clinical and management roles, Nisha is now working as a Clinical Home Manager at PCCC. She brings more than a decade of experience within the organisation, combining her clinical nursing knowledge with her leadership and management experience.
Nisha is known for her compassionate approach, professionalism, integrity and commitment to high standards of care. As Clinical Home Manager, Nisha continues to support residents, families and colleagues through approachable and compassionate leadership. She is committed to continuous improvement, effective teamwork and maintaining a culture where kindness, dignity, respect and person-centred care remain at the heart of everything the team does.

"My name is Cosmin Cristea, and I work as the Head Chef here at Princess Christian. Having started working at the Home in 2015, I first began working as a Kitchen Assistant, and progressed to Chef Assistant, then Chef, before being promoted to Head Chef.
I have completed many training programmes over the years, including an NVQ Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Food Production and Cooking, Level 3 Supervising Food Safety in Catering, and all the required in-house training courses for my catering roles. I started a Level 5 Management course, and I look forward to resuming the training soon, having been interrupted as a result of the pandemic.
What I most enjoy about my job as Head Chef is having the opportunity to cook for our residents and guests; seeing the satisfaction on everyone's faces really makes me happy. Cooking and baking have become my number one passion, which encourages me to carry on and develop and learn new flavours and recipes.
Working very closely with my team, I have seen many positive changes take place over the years. Many members of the Catering Team have started to develop, including enrolling on NVQ and Nutrition Courses. The knowledge we have now, working as a team, is reflected in the quality of our residents' meals. We've achieved a five-star food hygiene rating; we consistently create new menus, and we are proficient at creating menus for residents with special dietary requirements.
Our Head of Catering, Adrian Silaghi, has been a great support to me since I began working at Princess Christian back in 2015. He has always believed in me and has been a great help. Our Registered General Manager, Mario Taherian, has also consistently encouraged and supported the Catering Team and me in new ideas and projects.
I am very proud of myself for having achieved so much in my time at Princess Christian – my professional qualifications and the recognition from our residents that they enjoy the food we prepare for them. I am also proud of my “Cooking with Chef Cosmin Club" where, together with residents, we cook together every Friday. They love to share stories and memories about cooking at home, and they enjoy sharing recipes with me. Working closely with our Activities Team, "Cooking with Cosmin" has become something we all look forward to and that brings me great joy.
Working with my wonderful Kitchen Team is a privilege. They are very keen and open to learning new skills; they trust and follow me with an open mind, whilst also developing their knowledge.
My future aspirations include restarting my Management NYQ and elevating our catering provision to a whole new level with new menus, and new puréed, minced and moist options for our residents with special requirements.
The best aspect of working as part of such a great team at Princess Christian is having the opportunity to make a difference to a person's life. Being able to bring a smile to someone's face and to work in a collective with so many different cultures, traditions, and backgrounds makes for a very interesting work life. There is a lot to discover and learn from each other if we are open to listening and sharing our knowledge."
