Oakwood Grange offers a very warm welcome to residents and family members. The staff are all wonderful and cannot do enough to help. My mum when she stayed for respite at Oakwood Grange was treated with great dignity and very much enjoyed the interaction with the staff who treated her like one of the girls and not an elderly disabled lady. After a fall and a long stay in hospital Dad asked to go to Oakwood for respite until he regained his strength on confidence.

I would definitely recommend Oakwood Grange. I cannot thank the management and carers enough for the care they gave my mother when she was admitted on end of life, fast track. She was only in for two weeks but the staff seemed more like friends and had so much concern for my mum. By having them provide the care she needed it made it so much easier for us as a family to spend precious time with her. Thank you so much to everyone.

We approached Oakwood Grange for a bed for Mum prior to discharge from hospital. The management were excellent. The situation changed to fast track for end of life car they were still willing to take Mum (Her home is 200m from Oakwood Grange).
All the staff were caring. Fantastic to Mum and my sister and I. She was there less than 2 weeks but the staff allowed my Mum and us to say goodbye with love and grace.

I cannot thank them enough.

My mother was in this care home until her death in March 2021. The staff were brilliant with my mum. The care and attention my mum received was fantastic. A carer sat with Mum until myself and sister's arrived due to her imminent death.

Whatever is on my mind, I know I can go and talk to all the staff about anything; they all work so hard and deserve a lot of credit for what they do. Keep up the good work; I really appreciate it. They place bing, have quizzes and they have a singer in - he is brilliant. They all dance; it's great. Thank you, everyone.

Oakwood Grange has been my home for 11 months. I have found it very friendly and cosy. It is kept exceptionally fresh and clean and we have every comfort available. The staff are well trained and courteous. The meals are very good and we have a choice of most meals. We are encouraged to join in activities and games, so we are kept entertained.

My father came to stay for respite after being seriously ill in hospital and unable to look after himself. It was agreed that he could become a permanent resident much to his relief and mine. The staff look after my father with dignity, care and respect and have brought him on in himself, healthwise in a way that is second to none. Knowing he is here being cared for is a great relief to myself.

I have the utmost confidence in the staff that look after my father, they always have time for his needs and it takes a lot of stress of our family who use to care for him. They often have activities that he can join in with and he seems at home here. Thank you.

As a family, we visited mother most days for the 2 years she was in Oakwood. We always found the staff to be helpful and informative to us and dedicated and caring to the residents even when under extreme pressure. I found the management staff to be extremely useful and competent, especially when mother died.

I don't think we could have found a better place for her to spend her final years.

My mother spent the last four months of her life at Oakwood Grange. I cannot praise the staff enough for the love and exemplary care that they showed to her particularly during her end of life care. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff. They always treated my mother with great respect for her dignity.

The home is well run, friendly and welcoming. A great place to be!
