My Mum has settled into Foxton very well over 6 months. The staff are very caring and attentive and always treat with utmost dignity. The facilities are good and activities are very enjoyable giving the residents plenty of opportunity to interact. Each week the trip out is very looked forward to. The
rooms are comfortable and homely, being cleaned every day. The whole package has been a good experience for all the family.

My mother has always been reluctant to go into a home but having realised she can no longer cope on her own, she appears to be settling well into her new environment. When we took her to view Foxton Court, the staff discussed things with my mother rather than directing information to myself, which is

My mother has been living at Foxton Court since last July. It took her a little time to settle in and she is now happy there. The staff are cheerful, helpful, friendly and caring, and treat residents with respect and dignity.
Medication is dispensed appropriately and the food seems to be of good quality.
The chef even took the time to see my mother to discuss her dietary needs. Various activities are organised to entertain the residents. Although I live some distance away I am confident that my mother is being well looked after and I would recommend this home to families in a similar situation.

My mother has been here almost eight years and has always been happy.

Very attentive to relatives needs. No complaints at all. Food is to a high standard and clean in all areas. Entertainment and outings have been enjoyed.


Enjoys visiting hairdressers every week. Nails and feet have received treatment also.

My mother aged 94 who was diagnosed with Dementia with Lewy bodies two years ago has had carers looking after her at home. Doing a good job but after 13 visits to the hospital, it was time to look at care homes, we visited a few and decided on Foxton Court Morpeth. After being at Foxton for six weeks
she said she was very content, she has made a few friends and all the staff were fantastic with her, nothing is a problem. The home has its own hairdressing salon which she attends once a week. It makes her feel good, she also has her nails done which makes her look good. She will go out on trips which gives her a break and a boost, entertainment is on every week for the residents. The accommodation is fantastic, as are all the staff. The meals are five star. Tea, coffee and biscuits never ending. I think she might live till 107 after all the attention and care from all the staff and management. Thank you, Foxton Court.

My wife was admitted to this residential home in May 2010 and has been in residence since. Our two adult daughters and I have been regular visitors through the years. We are well-satisfied with the standard of care, as is my wife.
She was diagnosed as having M.S. in 1981, resulting in loss of ambulant
movement and dementia.
This condition has been coped with, by diligent care and medical attention.

Our Dad has lived at Foxton Court since November 2008 and was, in fact, one of the home's first residents. Over the years the care has been exceptional: the food is good and plentiful; the surroundings are bright and well maintained. There is a good calendar of social events/activities and above all,
the staff are very caring. The knowledge that Dad is content and very well cared for gives me and my brothers great peace of mind

My mother's health deteriorated very quickly. All the staff responded quickly, appropriately and with a lot of kindness and attention, going over and beyond what was expected.
They were prepared to have training to meet my mother's care needs even though it is not a nursing home.
The staff all appeared
very genuinely caring towards my mother and had built up a lovely relationship.

Foxton Court has been home for our mother for the last two years. She has had particular needs due to having a long term illness. The staff have made her feel at home. They have got to know her as a person, not a "case". She has been treated as a great individual with a need for help with being fed.
The home's managers devised a special mould to shape pureed food so it looks like the actual food, amazing. So much more appetising. There are regular activities and outings for all the residents and they have different people on the team that help.

Overall care has been extremely good from not only the carers but cleaners, cooks , hairdresser , entertainment. All the staff employed have long tiring days and sometimes could do with a little extra help or so it appeares to me .

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Joanne has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Joanne closely shares HC-One’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


She also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Foxton Court.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Joanne remarked:


“There’s nothing more rewarding than knowing that we are providing the best possible quality of life and care for Residents.”


In her spare time, Joanne enjoys keeping active with long walks in the countryside and going to the gym.
