I cannot fault Mulberry Court, from the staff to the facilities. We have visited on many occasions and every time we have found it to be spotlessly clean. The staff are genuinely caring and compassionate towards the residents. I have always worried about my mum having to go into a home, however, I no longer have any worries. My mum is very happy and brilliantly looked after. I cannot fault Mulberry Court and the lovely staff highly enough.

The carers are very kind and when we visit, we often see the carers holding our mum's hand. We are always given information on how she is doing and are we fully involved in her care.

My father-in-law enjoyed his first respite stay in December. He was met and supported by kind, skilled staff who made him very welcome.

He enjoyed his stay very much and didn't want to come home. He normally moans about food, people and life, this time he could give nothing but praise for his care. Well done Mulberry Court.

Mulberry Court has, in May 2018, received a CQC Overall Rating of "Inadequate". I do not disagree with the rating as my mother, who has been a resident of 2 years there, has received poor personal care for about a year now.

An experienced and able manager has just been appointed to turnaround this care home. However, some time is needed for proposed improvements to bed in.

I am rating Mulberry Court in its current work-in-progress situation. However, I urge prospective residents to re-visit this care home situation in a few months time as a team is working hard now to deliver a success story.

I am very pleased with the overall care my mother receives at Mulberry Court, her health and well being have improved remarkably. They are like a second family to her and also supportive to her relatives, which gives us peace of mind knowing she is in a wonderful, caring environment. Can I use this opportunity to thank the excellent team at Mulberry Court for the care and kindness they showed my father when he returned from hospital after a stroke. They made everything as easy as possible for us at a very difficult time (unlike our local hospital) and the team gave my dad a very dignified end and he passed peacefully in the place he regarded as home and I cannot speak highly enough of the care given.

My father came into Mulberry COurt initially for respite and then stayed when home circumstances changed. I was dreading visiting him in 'a home' but from the outset, the staff showed him care, consideration and above all dignity despite his symptoms of dementia. Sadly, after a hospital admission, he returned to Mulberry Court to end his life. The care and love shown to my dad was outstanding, the support to my mum was always available and despite the sad situation, the staff were so professional and above all showed real care to us.

Mum was an emergency admission and didn't want to be in a home. Staff at all levels were professional, friendly and caring. In the end, mum was sorry to leave. The team helped me manage telling mum about her husband's death and really helped her during this difficult time.

Décor maybe needs a bit of a refresh but it's clean.

I visit the home 4 - 5 times a week to visit my Husband and am always welcomed by the staff on my Husbands floor and other staff at the home who assist his care and management of the care home. Overall I think the care home is well run and very clean with staff ensuring the homes communal area's and rooms are cleaned daily. I would certainly recommend Mulberry Court Care Home to anyone that has to make the sad and hard decision to put their loved one in a residential care home. The residents are kept hydrated and meals are nutritious and plentiful.

As this was my first experience of having to request and take up 2 weeks respite for my husband; it was gratefully helpful that the process was undertaken with care and consideration. My own health is not good and I will now be reassured that any future stays (respite and longer term) will accomplish with kindness and dignity for him and myself.

My mum came to Mulberry Court following a number of weeks in hospital after a bad fall in her garden. We had no idea what to expect and I was probably more upset and uncomfortable than her. However, she has settled in well and likes all her carers and helpers and the other residents. Mum says the food is very good, her room is lovely and frequently cleaned and she enjoys the outings, as she has always been a very sociable person.

Mum now feels safe and secure and very well looked after. I also now feel so happy for her that she has found a lovely, caring environment in which to enjoy herself. Thank you to all those at Mulberry Court for your support and help over the last couple of months. It has been a pleasure for me to deal with you all too. I think Mulberry Court is much more than the sum of its parts, the atmosphere is so welcoming and there's a general feeling of wanting to make residents comfortable and happy, which you seem to have done with mum!

Hi, my name is Hayley Griffiths. I started my career at Mulberry Court Care Homes in 2014. I started working for Runwood Homes as a care assistant to help provide person-centred care to people living with dementia and high needs.

I absolutely adore my job and I go home every night feeling satisfied and rewarded that I have helped somebody in need. Runwood Homes provides so many opportunities and amazing training to progress in the health and social care setting.

I trained to become Care Team Leader in 2016, leading a team of carers to ensure my residents were being well looked after and the floor was well led, safe and effective.

I was promoted to Deputy Manager in 2020. Mulberry Court Care Home is the best place to work. I also recommended my family and friends to this care home.
