My uncle has been in Mulberry Court for nearly 2 years. Most of his family live in Ireland including me. It is such a relief to know he is so well looked after. Every member of staff I have met has been exceptionally kind, pleasant and cooperative. His great pleasure is food and he is delighted with

Mum moved into Mulberry Court in June, after several difficult months of being in hospital and temporary care homes.
Mum can be quite difficult and challenging at times but the staff treat her with dignity and kindness. They offer her support and encouragement when needed. We are informed of any problems
that arise and any issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
We can visit at any time we please and always feel welcome.
We feel very lucky to have mum at Mulberry Court and cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and caring.

I am quite happy to give this review. From my experience in visiting my daughter at Mulberry Court over the past weeks. I will say that the facilities are excellent. The home is very well managed. The staff is courteous and helpful and the surroundings are very conducive to the needs of the residents.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Mulberry Court to others.

Absolutely appalling care home, standard of care was disgraceful. My mum was moved here from hospital and when she arrived there was a huge stain on the bed sheets with clothes in the room from the previous resident. I could not leave my mother to reside in such a place and took her home to live with
me. I understand there is always going to be some smells from a care home however the stench from this place was unbearable.

First time experience of a care home. While the show around was impressive, I'm afraid to say the personal care was poor and didn't improve when highlighted to staff.
In view of this poor care, we had to move my parent to a different care home, where the care is vastly improved.

The home has a very homely feeling to it and all the staff are very welcoming and helpful and caring. Any minor maintenance issues were dealt with promptly.
My mum and all the other residents were kept clean and very well cared for. The staff were very understanding and would listen to all your concerns
and immediately put you at ease. I knew I could leave my mum and she was safe and well cared for.

Dad went into Mulberry court as respite. His care was first class and as a visitor, I saw how all the staff related to all the service users. Dad has Alzheimer's and was difficult at times. He befriended one staff member. He said when he goes home he wants to take him with him. All his care, nutrition,
and emotional well-being were met. Well done.

Disappointing resulting in us moving our family member to a different care home.
Whilst the home and staff appeared to be efficient etc. on our initial visits. I regret that the care was not up to standard or anywhere near what we would have expected.
I would not consider using this home again, regardless
of cost or ratings.

It all started in lockdown, no prior viewing of the home was allowed. Took everything at face value. All phone calls, concerns and fears were adhered to in the most trying of times for everyone. Cannot praise the home, facilities and care highly enough in my experience.

My mother-in-law was worried about going into a care home. The staff at Mulbery Court were excellent. She settled in with their help. Everything about Mulberry Court is excellent. She is actually enjoying herself for the first time in ages. It's reassuring to know that she is happy.

The care has been outstanding despite the pandemic. It has not been easy having restrictions on visiting, but thankfully we are back to pod visits. The home is doing a wonderful job and keeping themselves and residents safe and good to hear they have all has at least one vaccine.
At last, the phones
are being addressed which is the only criticism I have when sometimes, especially at weekends trying to speak to my mum.

Welcome to Mulberry Court. My name is Marie. I have over 31 years of experience working within the care industry, involving many roles and management roles. I am very proud to be working at Mulberry Court and I am very passionate about my job and devoted to the residents in our care. The team strive and works very hard to make a positive difference in resident’s everyday life experiences. We offer high-quality care, in an exceptional state-of-the-art environment. We provide a personalised, happy environment which is Dementia friendly. There are other facilities in the home which include a shop, sensory room, hairdressing room, a café and spacious communal lounges and dining rooms.


Residents and their well-being are the central focus of our care home, and we put service users at the heart of all that we do. We provide outings with our minibus which include trips to the local museums, clubs, and pubs.

Hayley Griffiths

Hi, my name is Hayley Griffiths. I started my career at Mulberry Court Care Homes in 2014. I started working for Runwood Homes as a care assistant to help provide person-centred care to people living with dementia and high needs.


I absolutely adore my job and I go home every night feeling satisfied and rewarded that I have helped somebody in need. Runwood Homes provides so many opportunities and amazing training to progress in the health and social care setting.


I trained to become Care Team Leader in 2016, leading a team of carers to ensure my residents were being well looked after and the floor was well led, safe and effective.


I was promoted to Deputy Manager in 2020. Mulberry Court Care Home is the best place to work. I also recommended my family and friends to this care home.

Hello, my name is Tunde Oyesile. I have been a member of Mulberry Court Care Home since November 2012. Runwood Homes has given me so many opportunities to progress my career in social care. I started off working as a care assistant to support elderly living with dementia and high needs, and trained in-house to become a Care Team Leader. I was promoted in 2015.


The support and training I have from Runwood Homes has been great. I have now been promoted as Deputy Manager and have been in this post since 2021. I would recommend Runwood Homes. Mulberrry Court is a nice place to work with a friendly and family feel.

As a Dementia Champion, I’m committed to supporting and empowering residents with dementia to engage in meaningful activities that enhance their lives.


Outside of my work, I have a variety of hobbies that keep me energized. I enjoy dancing (I’ve even had lessons and was a Junior Miss Pontins!), as well as gardening, crafting, walking, and flower arranging. Whether it’s a dance step or a fresh bouquet, I bring energy and creativity into everything I do.
