At last, the phones are being addressed which is the only criticism I have when sometimes, especially at weekends trying to speak to my mum.

The response to the COVID-19 crisis has been excellent. You acted quickly and prevented tragedy. It has been difficult not seeing Mother, but it has been eased knowing she is cared for so well. The staff have become her extended family, they are all so kind and caring. Thank you.

We saw Mum in the garden after over 3 months of lockdown on 26th June for half an hour and she was so well and had put weight on. She loves all the carers and they are always son hand to approach and talk to, as is the manager. They are all brilliant and Mum is so happy. We couldn't ask for more and we would highly recommend this care home. It is spotlessly clean and we are, as a family, so glad that we chose Mulberry Court.

I have been impressed by the response and professionalism of the care home in relation to the current Coronavirus outbreak. They responded very early and quickly to the lockdown to protect residents and their staff. As the son of a resident, it is very difficult to accept the situation and not being able to visit, however, again, the home has considered this and whenever possible, assist with communication via social media type sites!

I started off working as a care assistant to support elderly living with dementia and high needs, and trained in-house to become a Care Team Leader. I was promoted in 2015.

With almost four happy years as a Lifestyle Coordinator, I’m passionate about making residents' lives brighter through fun and engaging activities. It’s an incredibly rewarding role, and I always leave work with a smile on my face, knowing I’ve made a positive impact on someone's day. Seeing the joy these activities bring to residents is truly fulfilling, and it’s what keeps me motivated every day.
I started my Duke of Edinburgh and completed my Bronze award, and I used to play the violin—though I can still play "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!" I’m also a big fan of karaoke, where I love to sing my heart out. When I’m not working, you’ll find me baking delicious treats or enjoying food shopping (though I’m not a fan of clothes or shoe shopping!).
