My dad is looked after well. No worries here. He's quiet and keeps to himself. If his television could be put on daily that would be appreciated. Overall a lovely care home, the staff are very friendly and I have no concerns at all about my dad's wellbeing, he is looked after.

The staff are excellent but overworked which naturally causes stress when other staff are off. The home is currently being decorated in the communal areas, but I do not know whether this will include bedrooms. My brother has been there three years next month and still no address has been made with regards
the damaged wall.

My mum has been in this home for nearly a year now. She loves it. The staff are excellent, they are so caring. They get Mum doing activities which she enjoys. She tells me the food is lovely. Everyone is so friendly. I enjoy going to visit her.

The staff at Mulberry Court are caring, friendly and do everything they can to make the residents' lives comfortable and easier. The home is always clean and my dad seems very happy there. The communication is good and I always feel very welcome when I visit.

Summary of time spent in the home up until Sep 7.
I am the son of a resident who has now passed.
The care my mother received was very good. The staff were kind and considered the residents and always did their best. At times they were very rushed after all events can happen that cannot be planned
for. That said even then all of them gave it their best.
The consideration of staff was certainly a noticeable factor with many having been there many years.

What can I say about Mulberry Court.
They are the most caring and dedicated staff I have come across and their love for the residents is fabulous.
My mum was a resident until the beginning of this week, the dedication they have shown not only to my mum but to myself as well is second to none and
for this, I am overwhelmed by their love and their kindness.
The staff have a very hard job to do, so from the front door, office, management, floor managers, carers and last of all the domestic staff, I applaud you and thank you for making my mum's life comfortable, loved and cared for!
If you are looking for a home from home then look at this remarkable place and make your room a place where your relative/friend will feel like it is their home and a place of peace and love!

It is a comfort knowing my father is in safe hands here at Mulberry Court. The staff have been wonderful and welcoming from the beginning and are unfailingly friendly and supportive. My father has settled in quickly and adjusted well. I appreciate the staff's patience with all our questions.

I would like to give thanks to the front-line care team who look after our loved ones day in and day out, they work exceptionally hard to take care of multiple needs for hours on end. That said I am concerned at Runwood Homes's decision to reduce staff on shift. 4 staff in the mornings and 3 staff for
approx 30 residents on a floor is not enough in my opinion, especially if someone’s on holiday or off sick and staff have to work 14-hour double shifts, this can’t be good for morale or the health and well-being of the team or the residents. I would urge Runwood to review this decision and look at alternatives to increase bank staff and have Health and Social Care students on placement or volunteers for additional support all round, as we should be supporting the care teams as much as we can.

My mother was admitted to the care home at Mulberry Court Watermead Road nearly 4 years ago. She was 99 years of age when she passed away on the 22nd September just 46 days short of her birthday when she would have been 100 years of age. She had severe dementia and was incapable of looking after herself.
During her time there she was looked after in not only a professional way but in a caring way whereby the staff could not do enough for my mum. The staff were really fantastic and could not do enough for her and I was always kept up to date by them on how she was or whenever a problem arose. I was so happy the the last 4 years of her long life were spent in happy surroundings where she was much loved by all. What more can I say but from the bottom of my heart thanks to all at a wonderful care home. Kind regards.

Reasonably happy with care as don't have anything to compare it to. Always taken aback by the smell as you enter the corridor where residents live. Perhaps a little more interaction between staff/management/myself.

I am pleased with the way my mum is looked after. There are a few problems no one notices simple things, like when my mum's ankles and legs are swollen and medical attention is very slow.

It was lovely to see my friend being looked after at Mulberry Court. During my visit, the staff kept checking and making sure he was alright and did not want anything. The location of the home was pleasant, modern and in excellent condition. The room was clean and roomy, and everything was laid out
as required to make it homely. Thank you to all staff at Mulberry Court for looking after my friend. The best place for him!

My mum is well looked after here. This is her home. she is never left alone which brings me comfort, from what I can tell she is happy here. All I would ask is her room be locked as she isn't in her room all day and her belongings can go missing on occasion. Overall the staff are amazing and they communicate.

My nana is very happy here. Myself and my family are extremely happy with the care she receives in this home. Nothing is ever too much for the carers in this home. Everyone is very polite and friendly and we can all see my nana is a lot more settled in this home.

My sister moved into Mulberry Court Care Home last July. At first, it was a difficult move for her as she had managed to live independently for a long time. However, at 89 years of age, she now needed the help. I can't speak too highly of the care the staff has given her to help her settle. She has
every facility including doctors, hairdressers etc. Activities are arranged as well. She has settled really well due to all the care she has received. Thanks.

Welcome to Mulberry Court. My name is Marie. I have over 31 years of experience working within the care industry, involving many roles and management roles. I am very proud to be working at Mulberry Court and I am very passionate about my job and devoted to the residents in our care. The team strive and works very hard to make a positive difference in resident’s everyday life experiences. We offer high-quality care, in an exceptional state-of-the-art environment. We provide a personalised, happy environment which is Dementia friendly. There are other facilities in the home which include a shop, sensory room, hairdressing room, a café and spacious communal lounges and dining rooms.


Residents and their well-being are the central focus of our care home, and we put service users at the heart of all that we do. We provide outings with our minibus which include trips to the local museums, clubs, and pubs.

Hayley Griffiths

Hi, my name is Hayley Griffiths. I started my career at Mulberry Court Care Homes in 2014. I started working for Runwood Homes as a care assistant to help provide person-centred care to people living with dementia and high needs.


I absolutely adore my job and I go home every night feeling satisfied and rewarded that I have helped somebody in need. Runwood Homes provides so many opportunities and amazing training to progress in the health and social care setting.


I trained to become Care Team Leader in 2016, leading a team of carers to ensure my residents were being well looked after and the floor was well led, safe and effective.


I was promoted to Deputy Manager in 2020. Mulberry Court Care Home is the best place to work. I also recommended my family and friends to this care home.

Tunde Oyesile

Hello, my name is Tunde Oyesile. I have been a member of Mulberry Court Care Home since November 2012. Runwood Homes has given me so many opportunities to progress my career in social care. I started off working as a care assistant to support elderly living with dementia and high needs, and trained in-house to become a Care Team Leader. I was promoted in 2015.


The support and training I have from Runwood Homes has been great. I have now been promoted as Deputy Manager and have been in this post since 2021. I would recommend Runwood Homes. Mulberrry Court is a nice place to work with a friendly and family feel.

As a Dementia Champion, I’m committed to supporting and empowering residents with dementia to engage in meaningful activities that enhance their lives.


Outside of my work, I have a variety of hobbies that keep me energized. I enjoy dancing (I’ve even had lessons and was a Junior Miss Pontins!), as well as gardening, crafting, walking, and flower arranging. Whether it’s a dance step or a fresh bouquet, I bring energy and creativity into everything I do.

As a Lifestyle Coordinator, one of the most rewarding aspects of my job is creating meaningful experiences that make residents’ days easier and happier. I love seeing the joy that activities and engagement bring to the residents. It’s truly fulfilling to witness the positive impact these moments have.


I completed my BCom degree with honours and an MBA with merit, followed by a Chartered HRM qualification in a short period. I’m passionate about creativity, especially in arts and crafts, and event organizing is one of my favourite activities.


Outside of work, I’m an avid reader and a movie enthusiast, and I enjoy dancing. My little boy brings me immense joy, and I cherish every moment spend with him. Balancing work, creativity, and family is something I truly enjoy.

With almost four happy years as a Lifestyle Coordinator, I’m passionate about making residents' lives brighter through fun and engaging activities. It’s an incredibly rewarding role, and I always leave work with a smile on my face, knowing I’ve made a positive impact on someone's day. Seeing the joy these activities bring to residents is truly fulfilling, and it’s what keeps me motivated every day.


I started my Duke of Edinburgh and completed my Bronze award, and I used to play the violin—though I can still play "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!" I’m also a big fan of karaoke, where I love to sing my heart out. When I’m not working, you’ll find me baking delicious treats or enjoying food shopping (though I’m not a fan of clothes or shoe shopping!).
