My mother was in Clarendon Court Care Home for her last few days. The staff have all been professional but also warm, loving and comforting to me at what is a very difficult emotional time. The staff here are so dedicated and carry out one of the most important jobs in society wtih love and dignity to the residents and their family and friends.

My father has vascular dementia and is at end of life care status.

I am very happy and confident in the care my father has and is continuing to receive at Clarendon Court. The team here are attentive and considerate to my fathers needs. They take time to ensure he is comfortable and as happy as he can be in view of his condition. An example of this is the rapid response the team performed when dad was unwell and vomited whilst eating. The care team immediately called the nursing staff, who were bedside within minutes. They checked dad's blood pressure and breathing, suspected an infection and dispensed paracetmol. They contacted the GP, who arrived within an hour and dispensed antibiotics. Great leadership from the team, who kept me informed throughout!

We found the staff cheerful, efficient and prompt with information requested.

We understand there has been a shortage of cleaners, and this has been dealt with, and 2 new cleaners are starting shortly. I raised my concerns were for cleaners at the weekend and the problem, hopefully, when the extra staff is sufficient.

The management are so very helpful and I would have found the whole process so much harder without their support. The reception staff are very welcoming and always available to help. The carers do an amazing job and are so very respectful to Dad and others. The nurses are on top of everything and provide good feedback of any medical issues. The entertainment is second to none, and the food is excellent. The home and dad are clean and well presented.

My mum moved to Clarendon Court in September 2024 following an awful 3 months in Hospital. My mum has improved immensely since moving into Clarendon Court. All the staff have been amazing in helping my mum be the best she can be. As a nurse myself I cannot praise enough all aspects of Clarendon Court. The staff are genuinely kind and caring and make a difference in so many ways. Thank You x

My mum stayed sadly for a short time at Clarendon Court, she had a stroke on Boxing Day and after a stay in hospital was transferred there. The home has a caring friendly atmosphere. The room was spacious and homely, they have made an effort to make what could be a clinical space warm and friendly and although it is quite big it seemed smaller and more intimate. My mum passed away on the 7th of Feb the staff were caring, friendly and supportive just what we needed at a very difficult time.

Mum was admitted to Clarendon Court at the end of February 2024, following a hospital stay. The staff were helpful from the start, helping Mum settle in and ensuring her comfort. Mum sadly had a terminal condition which soon reduced her ability to move and communicate. The staff were wonderful: talking to and caring for Mum round the clock. Sadly, Mum passed away in June, but the staff helped out and cared for her until the end. I visited nearly every day throughout Mum's time at Clarendon and have been fully happy with the excellent care that she received.

From the moment I was wheeled through the doors at Clarendon Court, I was greeted by happy, smiling faces and this continued through my nine and a half week stay. A very happy environment. The staff were very helpful and supported me throughout my time there, especially the physio team. My safety was well managed when moving around. The food was varied and tasty. The housekeeping team kept my room and bathroom spotlessly clean and my cloths nicely laundered. The activities manager kept us well with his gentle exercises throughout the week and prepared many games in the afternoon and cinema in the afternoon of the weekend. Now back home I miss all.
