Could do with some fans in the care area on Coffee Mornings... please/thank you.

↩Reply from Clare Sheehan, Careline Advisor at Ashworth Grange

Thank you for taking the time to review us, we are always looking at ways we can improve our services. Our coffee mornings have grown over time and have become a real feature in our home, weather permitting we do try to take these outside in the garden areas where everyone can enjoy the fresh air...

The Activities Coordinator is always cheerful and smiley whenever you see her. My mum absolutely sings her praises and says what a wonderful person she is. She is kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble for her. We both love coming to the coffee morning it's a wonderful, cheerful and friendly environment. Mum thinks the Activities Coordinator is special, as are all the lovely staff.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with Mum today.

Nothing is too much trouble. A very pleasant experience held in the cafe with music playing and one extremely attentive member of staff in particular - like being in a cafe.

My review is to do with the coffee morning lady, what a lovely person, she looks after us all very well, the cakes and coffee are delicious.

Some of the other staff carers in the home are very good and some have been a bit rude however all in all we are happy enough.

My mum and I came for the first time last week to visit Ashworth Grange and sample coffee and cakes at the cafe, we were made to feel very welcome on both occasions. One member of staff is very attentive and full of enthusiasm and encouraged visits with young grandchildren too. The coffee and cakes are amazing and well worth coming for. Mum is attending respite for 2 weeks. All staff so far have been excellent.

My mother is always really well looked after when she comes for respite stays, and this gives my husband and I peace of mind while we are on holiday, having a break from caring for her. The management of Ashworth Grange is excellent, the office staff are efficient and all care home staff are professional and welcoming. My mother particularly enjoys the food here, and the carers are friendly and kind to her. Thank you to all!

Another brilliant day at the coffee morning with friends to chat to.
One member of staff in particular as usual brilliant with her smile and hospitality. It warms us all up and makes me keep coming back to see the happy faces as well as cheering those who for some reason aren't feeling up to it.

Thank you all who look after my friends so well to make them feel comfortable.

Very welcoming staff, always pleasant however busy they are. Plenty of activities and outings if Mum wants to go. Coffee morning is a treat with all the lovely cakes, very popular. The room we have it in is small, so maybe there could be a bigger room available so everyone can sit together at present we are all in various rooms which doesn't give us a chance to mix with other residents.

Visited for the first time and was pleased with the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff.
Even when they were busy, they broke off to answer our questions and all were very pleasant with us.
The decor is lovely and the home offers a wide range of activities including a hair salon and sweet shop!

My sister joined in with a fitness class as did we, and it was gorgeous to see her smile!
