Staff encourage the residents to be as independent as possible, with respect and dignity at the heart of their care. There is a whole host of activities on offer with a designated activities room as well as a hair salon and café.
Our all inclusive fee gives peace of mind and allows residents to enjoy our facilities and services without having to worry about extra costs. It includes a monthly appointment at our onsite hair salon, regular chiropody appointments, a full and varied activity program, annual eye tests, annual dental check ups and transport and accompaniment to medical appointments where necessary.

My grandma had dementia and was at the home for approximately 2.5 years. Overall, she was well looked after and treated with respect. During the last week of her life, the staff let us stay with her and they were just brilliant. We really felt supported and cared for ourselves. They provided food for us, a room and made sure we were ok throughout. When she passed away they were all so respectful and even gave her a guard of honour when she left the home. Your kindness will always be much appreciated.

Our coffee mornings have grown over time and have become a real feature in our home, weather permitting we do try to take these outside in the garden areas where everyone can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. It can at times be extremely busy with residents and families joining us, along with our local community. We have fans available in the home should any areas become warm or uncomfortable. If you have any queries on your next visit please speak to the Home Manager who will be happy to assist you.

My mum and I came for the first time last week to visit Ashworth Grange and sample coffee and cakes at the cafe, we were made to feel very welcome on both occasions. One member of staff is very attentive and full of enthusiasm and encouraged visits with young grandchildren too. The coffee and cakes are amazing and well worth coming for. Mum is attending respite for 2 weeks. All staff so far have been excellent.

I can't put into words how lovely the staff here are....
I can't put into words how lovely the staff here are. My Mum feels so lucky to be here and so do we as a family. Nothing is a problem for the staff. They are wonderful!
One member of staff in particular as usual brilliant with her smile and hospitality. It warms us all up and makes me keep coming back to see the happy faces as well as cheering those who for some reason aren't feeling up to it....
