Ashworth Grange in Dewsbury offers residential care that is personalised and tailored to the individual.

A good and welcoming environment. The staff need to work a little harder to encourage mum-in-law to get up and dressed. She is difficult to motivate we know this. But all in all, it's positive.

Staff are really engaged and treat my mum as a person rather than a problem.
I think sometimes there is an assumption that family know what to do or tell you, I think when family members come into care that could be better.
Fantastic how you got the doctor in and that my mum now has a pain patch.

Mum has really settled at Ashwoth and is really enjoying the social interaction each day. Her room is very comfortable and Mum is always clean and well dressed. She enjoys the activities and loves having her hair done. There was so much going on at Christmas with lovely decorations and a great festive
atmosphere. Can't speak highly enough of the care given to Mum.

A Very welcoming in place for families and residents. Very clean place with no bad odour, always staff around to help with activities to keep the residents stimulated with a timetable for food and the activities for the month. Which I find great for myself to know what my mothers doing from day to day.

Very nice coffee morning, useful to help my mum settle in and get used to the place before we decided to make her a service user. Cakes and hot chocolate are very nice. Enjoy coming down and meeting the staff and other residents.

The staff helped us to organise a party for my father-in-law's 90th birthday, which we held in the café. They decorated the room with balloons and provided us with food, drinks and a birthday cake. As ever, nothing seemed too much trouble for them.
All the staff involved helped to make the day a very
special one. They were so kind and genuine in sharing their good wishes with him too.

My dad turned 90 yesterday. We had a great family party in the cafe to celebrate. It was the perfect afternoon.
Dad has been at Ashworth for several months.
The care and support he has had from all members of staff has been exceptional in that time.
He was previously placed in an emergency care
home, which was very basic and lacking in amenities and staff.

I moved my mum to Ashworth Grange on a recommendation from a friend as I was unhappy with her care in another home.
The atmosphere is wonderful, it is decorated and furnished well, and it is very homely.
The staff are friendly, kind, respectful and tolerant. The management is the same and also efficient
and modern in outlook.
I can now sleep at night!

Mum was ill in October 2023 and Ashworth Grange Care Home really looked after her, making sure doctors visited to see her. She is happy living in Ashworth which makes me happy too. There are activities which she enjoys participating in and the staff take good care of residents well-being.

Ashworth Grange is a very good care home. One marker of their standards of care is how they handle issues which arise from time to time. All establishments, not just care homes, have issues from time to time which need to be addressed. When I have needed to point out any aspect of my mother’s care which
needed addressing, the care home staff and management were efficient and helpful in resolving them. So I would reiterate that care at Ashworth Grange is very good. I would not hesitate to recommend the home to others.

Very impressed with the focus on care for the residents. A well-presented, clean and warm environment.
The staff are friendly and use residents' names.
Lots of activities to keep residents busy, including trips out.
This home looks to be extremely well-run.
The only area of improvement would
be that some of the public area woodwork paint needs refreshing.

I find the home very welcoming. The staff are very friendly and work very hard, taking care of the residents with a lot of love and cuddles. My dad is a different person since he went to Ashworth Grange Care Home, the management has helped him have a purpose in life with the help of the staff too. Entertainment
and food are great! It's lovely we can go to coffee mornings, enjoying a social morning with our relatives and have a bun and milky coffee which I might add is delicious.

I think it is absolutely beautiful and more like a hotel than a home. All the staff are caring, helpful and kind, can't do enough for you. The home is very clean, plenty of entertainment. I would recommend anybody to come to this home. All the management staff are caring, helpful and understanding,
any problems are sorted straight away. I find there is nothing too much trouble for them.
