On arrival, we were greeted by both management and the staff. The suitcase was taken away for clothes to be labelled and then hung up in the room. I was invited to stay for lunch after which the staff took over and settled my wife in. Overall excellent facility.

My mother was placed at Ashworth Grange for care assessment after a fall. My father was also there for 7 months the previous year. Both Mum and Dad were made very welcome and Mum was really happy when the staff were able to talk to her about my Dad. When we visited she looked well cared for and had
no complaints about her care.

My mum's care is second to none. She gets really good care from the staff and management. They listen to us if we have any queries about mum. She is very happy there and if she is happy, I'm happy. I am always made to feel welcome when I visit mum. Staff go out of their way to make all residents happy

The visit ran smoothly; my uncle was so happy to see me. I had not seen him for 12-months, so did not know what his response would be! We talked a lot about family, which he remembered. He looked very smart, content and very happy. We are really happy with his care. He is been well looked after by the

I find it difficult to write a comprehensive review of the Care Home. My wife has been a resident for just over six months, but due to the Pandemic, I have never actually been inside the Home. However, I feel at this stage I could enter a 'part' review on our experience so far. My dealings have been
mainly by telephone/video call and recently a well-converted room for visits. The Staff have all been courteous, understanding and kind, and they have made my wife welcome. It is a great relief that she seems happy, well cared for and safe in their company. It is not always easy communicating by video chat, but the Staff help greatly in their gentle manner and experience. I feel confident that Ashworth Grange will look after my wife, and ensure that she is safe, well and happy. Thank you all.

This was the first time I've seen Mum in the visiting room. It was lovely to see her 'closer to' then we've been able for such a long time. She seemed relaxed and happy and although she found it difficult to hear, she was accompanied by a member of staff who was able to clarify.
It was reassuring
to see Mum looking well and happy. It seems obvious to me that she thinks the world of all the staff and that, in turn, they think the world of her. Thank you.

My mother lived at Ashworth Grange for 2 and a half years and found the environment comfortable and safe. The staff were conscientious towards the residents, showing safety, humour and thoroughness. Activities were varied, the environment pleasant and having a room with an outside door allowed her to
access the garden area. Staff were very professional and supportive of all residents.

After two happy years at the Ashworth Grange care home, my mother died peacefully in the home. The care workers treated my mother as if she was their mother. I could not have wished for better, more considerate, attention. Especially, in the last few weeks for her life, when she could not speak and
her eyesight failed, my mother was treated with dignity and love. Under these very difficult circumstances due to Covid restrictions, I could not visit her at all for several months. The staff went the extra mile to accommodate me with FaceTime and Zoom communications on their phones and computer tablets. Her end of life care was superb. Thanks, is too small a word to convey my gratitude to the staff of the Ashworth Grange care home. They were her angels on earth!

Ashworth Grange provided a wonderful safe and caring home to my father when his dementia got too difficult to look after him at home. Staff were excellent with him and also my mother who visited every day. A few words here cannot express my gratitude to all the staff there. True heroes.

We visited Mum today for the first time in 7 months because of COVID. It was a lovely experience. We sat outside and talked through a window. Although our Mum has dementia she clearly recognised us both. She smiled and laughed throughout the visit. I would like to thank Ashworth Grange for looking after
Mum in these difficult times. I would recommend Ashworth Grange as a place for a loved one to live their later years.

I called to attend to the spiritual needs of a resident of Ashworth Grange. I was met with pleasant staff who informed me of the need to wear a gown and gloves. The staff member assisted me with these and took me to see the resident who was in bed. The resident looked peaceful, comfortable and was in
every way dignified. I was given the privacy of being able to celebrate the sacrament of the sick which I appreciated. When leaving Ashworth Grange the staff were pleasant and helpful as they had been on my arrival.

My mother has been a resident at Ashworth Grange for just over a year. She has done so well. We, as a family, could not be happier with her care. We had a tea party for Mum's 90th birthday on the 24th of January. We held the party in the newly refurbished cafe, which is so much better. It is light and
bright and looks a lot more spacious than before. Mum really enjoyed her family and friends being with her on her special day.

I find the care home very nice and the staff are lovely to mum. Since she has been in here mum is a lot happier and knowing mum is cared for 24hrs and knowing she is safe. I would highly recommend this care home to stay. Mum has plenty of company and they do lots of activities which is very good, the
food is very good too. Excellent service and highly recommend it to anyone.

When our family had to look for a new care home for Dad last October. We were lucky that Ashworth Grange were re-opening a new wing and had availability to care for Dad.
This has turned out to be a good decision for the family.
The ward is kept clean, the carers are fantastic with Dad. The home have
activities on every day as well as taking residents out occasionally.
Dad recently went on a barge trip with lunch and this week is going to be a sensory farm. Our family is very happy with the facilities and the way Dad is treated.
