The care in the home is excellent. The staff are caring, always pleasant, nothing is too much trouble and they treat me with total dignity. In the time I have been here, the staff have gone out of their way to help me to settle in. The home organises trips/excursions and we residents are able to choose where we go. Two weeks ago, they took us to the Air Museum in Sunderland. As an ex RAF pilot, this brought back many memories. From being concerned about moving into a care home, I have become happy that I made the right choice.

What does ‘kindness’ mean to you?
“Kind care, for me, is person-centred care. It is all about the individual and their needs.”
Kinga has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people during her 8 years in care work. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care and quality of life for Residents.
Having started as Home Manager at Greenways Court in October 2020, Kinga was the perfect candidate as she closely shares HC-One’s vision aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident and has been a deputy Manager at HC-One for 3 years.
Kinga also works hard to arrange events and activities with nearby schools and clubs and is always keen to include the local community in life at Greenways Court.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Kinga remarked:
“Spending time with Residents and listening to their life stories. Talking about photographs and memories Residents have in their rooms.”
“I enjoy supporting and developing my staff in any areas they wish to expand their knowledge, seeing the positive outcome of it makes me really happy.”
Outside of work, Kinga enjoys many activities and hobbies, especially spending time with her family and travelling.
