Mill View is located in the centre of the Bradford community with views over the city. Mill View continues to welcome new residents.

The home provides friendly and comfortable residential and dementia care for up to 50 residents in single en suite rooms. There is also a shop for customers and their families within the home to promote sociable, customer-led activity.

Mill View's dedicated care team takes the time to get to know the individual and work with them and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure their care needs are continually met.

The home provides dementia care and provides on-going training to ensure their approach is best for customers living with dementia. Anchor recognises that everyone is an individual.

Care staff work hard to get to know customers, build relationships and ensure all aspects of the service provided focus on individualised and compassionate care.

My father has been at Mill View for six years, ever since his dementia got too bad for him to live at home. During this time I have never had a single complaint about it or spotted anything wrong. The staff provide excellent, loving, care and always go "the extra mile," when caring for my father.
The
building itself is very clean and well maintained. It's a purpose-built care home and has wide corridors, lifts etc.
I live over 200 miles away, which means I can't visit as often as I would like to. When my father first needed care I considered moving him to a care home nearer me, as I am his only visitor. However, he is so happy and well looked after I decided to leave him where he is. I don't regret this decision one bit!

This home, where Mum has lived for two years is a wonderful place and my sister and I are very happy with the caring and efficient staff, stimulating and carefully thought out facilities, the comfort of the home and the fabulous food. Mum has always been happy and settled here and during lockdown for
COVID we have been able to contact her by phone and video links and been kept fully up to date with newsletters. I cannot speak highly enough about Mill View and it's amazing manager.

My mother who has Alzheimer’s disease has been at Mill View for three years now and I cannot speak highly enough about the care she has received during that time. The staff are amazing and the home itself is excellent - I have total confidence that my mother is getting the best care possible.

My uncle was a resident of Mill View for one year until he passed away in January 2019. On the day we went to look around he felt comfortable enough to say he was fine and we could leave him there. Obviously, we didn't but that was enough for me. If he felt fine with the place, that sealed the deal.
He was a resident for exactly 365 days and that can feel like a long, long time. He was cared for and cared about. Subtle changes were quickly picked up and the relevant action taken.

The overall care provided is of a satisfactory standard. Staff and management are very approachable and always willing (when available) to help. My criticism would be the cleanliness of the bathroom as quite frequently the toilet area is left soiled and can sometimes be left for long periods of time.
This is obviously a concern for personal hygiene.

Couldn't wish for a better care home for my Sister. The care and attention she receives is 100%. She's very happy and content. The staff are great and they care about the residents. Could do with more chair exercises!

The decision to arrange long-term care for a parent is not one that most of us relish and I am no exception. When the relative has to go into care for physical as opposed to mental reasons, then the process is even more difficult as of course, they would prefer to be in their own home. Based on what
I have observed over the past twelve months, I have nothing but praise for the care and support which my mother receives at Mill View in Bradford and everyone has her best interests at heart.
The place is well led by a manager who is dynamic, gregarious and totally absorbed by the job she does. This cascades down to her team who demonstrate an admirable level of interest in and care for the residents.
There is a wide range of activities to suit all interests plus there is a cinema and also a shop which is decorated and equipped like a 1960's corner shop and the latest addition is a coffee bar.
A mini-bus would be the perfect addition and I am somewhat surprised that there isn't one.

I felt compelled to leave a quick review of Mill View. To be honest I had an ignorant but very negative general view of nursing homes. I'm pleased to say after 2 visits to Mill View to see my Gran this has completely changed. The staff are incredible as is the food and service. The care is given with
genuine love and after spending several hours there, this is not something you can fake, and let's be honest this is a very difficult job. I cannot recommend this place enough

From the moment Mum came to Mill View she has been looked after and cared for in the most professional and caring manner. Her medical needs are being fully met and monitored. Her individual medical issues have been shared by all staff through professional training and her support is outstanding by all
the carers. As Mum's family, we are made to feel so welcome and are constantly updated and involved in Mum's care. Mill View is an outstanding care home and we feel totally confident and wholly satisfied with everything about Mum's care. It is her home from home.
