My mother has been a resident at Mill View for 2 months now and I can honestly say that care that she has received has been absolutely fantastic without exception!
From the moment we brought mum here we knew that it was the right place for her and she settled in very quickly. The staff are very open and nothing is too much trouble for them. I know from experience as an ex nurse how difficult it can be dealing with clients with dementia and other age associated conditions but the staff here make it look so easy.
Mums room is very homely and absolutely spotless as is the care home in general.
It's lovely seeing mum interact with the carers and other residents and she is kept busy with the various activities taking place on a day to day basis.
We feel so blessed to have mum in Mill View.

Thank you to all the staff and the fabulous manager for all the care and support you give to my mum and her relatives.

This HOME is outstanding! The staff truly care about our father and our father has developed a genuine fondness for the staff. We know he is well cared for, well fed and safe. We always feel welcome when we visit. It is always immaculately clean. There's always a danger that you can sound like you're "blowing smoke" when giving a great review......I'm not. This HOME is brilliantly led by the manager. She has a business to run but my god, she cares about her residents AND the welfare of the families too.....we know this from personal experience. We also know we could pick up the phone to the manager and she'd be there to help. If she wasn't available, the ever helpful staff member would be there! A massive thank you to all the staff. A truly great HOME run by a superb team!

My husband moved into the dementia unit at Mill View a year ago. Since then he has been hospitalised twice with severe infections He has recovered well from both due to the excellent care he has received at Mill View. I have also been very impressed with the kindness, warmth and helpfulness shown by the staff, not only to my husband but to me and all my family during some difficult times. Family and friends are all very impressed by the welcoming atmosphere at Mill View and by how clean and well maintained it is. They have also commented on the kindness and dedication of the staff and management to making this such a happy place for the residents. So thank you all at Mill View. We feel very lucky to have found you.

My husband has lived in Mill View for around 14months so far. He needs help with all activities of daily living and appears happy there.
The staff deliver this care very well. They are very quick to inform other disciplines when they feel medical/nursing intervention is required and always keep us informed if this has been necessary . The management team is excellent and always there to answer any queries . The home is very clean, modern and well maintained. The catering team are wonderful and produce excellent meals and cater for any special dietary requirements as required. Activities are ongoing and available on most days and appear well attended by residents and relatives etc.,

I am happy with the care at Mill View and know that any issues will be dealt with efficiently.

My mum was admitted for respite. I had no idea what to expect. She stayed on as a permanent resident. The staff and managers are fantastic. I feel I can come to them if I have a problem or a worry. They are like family. I feel happy when I leave her. Mum is also very happy too.

Thank you so much team Mill View. Really appreciate all you do for Mum and other residents.

I'm not sure how long my friend was in Mill View, but she was very happy. We were particularly happy with two staff members. When my friend first arrived there was no smell, but it became evident over time. The care at the end of her life was excellent.

The care home provides a home-from-home living experience for all residents. Activities are widely available to anyone who wants to join in. Themed events are organised where family and friends are welcome to join in the fun.

A widely varied menu to suit everyone is provided. Mill View is immaculately clean and welcoming. Staff not only care for residents but care for the wider family too. Staff are not recognised highly enough for the level of compassion they provide. The dignity and respect that is shown is faultless. I would highly recommend Mill View to anyone looking for a loved one to be cared for.

Accepting that my Mum could no longer safely stay in her own home was the most difficult and emotional decision for my Mum and us, her family.
However, the transition from home to care has been made so much easier due to the fantastic care and support by the management and the team of carers at Mill View.
My Mum has really settled at Mill View and in her words "nothing is too much bother for them" which is high praise indeed from my Mum.
The staff goes above and beyond for residents to continue to have special events to look forward to. The cruise night; TV soap night and the Western night were fabulous events where families could attend with their loved ones. The added bonus being that money raised from ticket sales and tombola raffles then goes towards additional treats for the residents.

Thanks to Mill View we can all sleep easy knowing that my Mum is being looked after and cared for by such committed management and staff.

Mill View home is a wonderful place, my mum is very happy and settled here. I am so happy with the staff, they are awesome people, cleanliness of the home is paramount and I believe that the home is always kept that way. I am informed of everything to do with my mum's care and I wouldn't want it any other way. I praise the management for the excellent work that they do.

I would like to thank all the wonderful team at Mill View for going above and beyond our expectations.
The admission for Respite Care went very well and we found the staff very caring and considerate of my husband's needs. He was treated with dignity and respect in a safe environment.
Nothing was too much trouble and family and friends were made very welcome when visiting.

I have no hesitation in recommending the home and would be happy for my husband to stay again.

We wanted somewhere for Dad to recover after an operation, Mill View met our expectations. All the staff are friendly caring, welcoming and nothing is too much to ask. The home is clean, welcoming and pleasant. The gardens and grounds are neat and clean and a relaxing oasis to sit in. Dad only stayed a short respite but he was settled and comfortable, and wants to return for another respite period later on. The food is excellent and there are pleny of snacks and cups of tea on hand. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and have their own bathrooms and a good selection of furniture to meet everyone's requirements.
