We would like to thank you for your amazing care of mum in the 3 weeks she was in Cherry Blossom. She was looked after in a lovely, caring way and with dignity at the end. I would like to thank the doctor on duty on 27/28th February - it was exceptional. To the manager - behind every great leader is

1. Very noisy at night time.
2. Food, is hot, should be on a hot plate - don't like tepid food.
3. Only had one shower in 3 weeks. No bath offered.
4. Staff really lovely. Very kind.

Every member of staff are more than helpful and try in difficult circumstances to give my mother the best care possible and if there is a problem they try their hardest to solve it. Having seen and experienced many care homes, this is by far the best I've ever experienced or seen. It is homely and the staff are very caring. The food is good and plentiful. The residents are treated with dignity and respect and more important kindness. It is not perfect but by far the best I've ever

After my mother arrived here, even after 36 hours I saw an improvement in her condition. The staff are attentive, caring and friendly. The rooms and location are excellent. Such a relief after a busy hospital ward, to know that she is now being properly cared for in a purpose-built facility with staff
who are both conscientious and caring.

We did have a few issues on the first 3 days of my father being here. Eg soft food only and to be assisted when eating. Forgot to give prescription protein drink until I mentioned this plus all of the above was in his notes for staff to read. Once I had a talk with the staff and manager on day 3, all
was sorted. The staff are really lovely but let it down by not reading his notes. He was only here for 8 days in total.

My mother stayed at Barchester Cherry Blossom Manor for respite care following my hospitalisation as she had lived with me for the past 14 years and now aged 92 years was unable to live alone and care for herself. She was made very welcome from the start, the manager and her staff being so friendly,
caring and attentive throughout her stay there. They are a credit to her company.

I started with Barchester as a Kitchen Assistant/Hostess in another home whilst studying for a VRQ in Professional Cookery at college to qualify for Hospitality Management. I came to Cherry as my current position. Cooking & Baking is my passion & I like creating new & exciting dishes for our Residents.
