The care given to my parents during such a difficult time with the COVID-19 pandemic has been outstanding. The staff on Silchester have been wonderfully dedicated, kind, and patient throughout the lockdown, even while working in such uncomfortable conditions. We have been hugely impressed and very reassured
each time we see our parents by video link. Thank you.

From the minute I walked into Cherry Blossom I knew if my mum had to go into a care home it would be this one, you feel the warmth of the staff, they are amazing, nothing ever is too much trouble. They treated my mum with love, care and dignity, they gave me my mum back, I can never thank them enough.
They told me they treat the residents like family and they really do. Cherry Blossom should be a 'model' for the perfect home.

On admission day we were welcomed in a nice and pleasant way. The room was prepared in a very welcoming way too. The staff from the manager, health care assistants and the auxiliary staff were excellent. My mother-in-law felt at home. The care as excellent and the staff very caring and understanding.
I have a list of praise for all the staff. Overall I will recommend anybody to use this home for their care. Well done.

The terminal care my mother had on Sylchester Unit was outstanding. The staff were knowledgeable, extremely caring and had good communication skills both with Mother and ourselves.

I feel that my mother is very safe which is very reassuring for me. She now has company 24 hours a day, which she did not have when she lived alone. The staff at Cherry Blossom Manor are all very caring and nothing is too much for them to do. They are very helpful and understanding and I would recommend
to anyone looking for a suitable care home.

I have nothing but praise for Cherry Blossom Manor. It is such a warm, homely place with lovely caring staff. The relatives are made to feel as welcome as the residents. I would recommend this home very highly. The memorial we attended today was so touching and well thought out. The roses that were
given to put in the garden were very moving.

I cannot begin to say anything other than thank you. The care and dignity afforded to my father by this wonderful nursing home will stay with me forever. It is a superb place and the staff at all levels are the most caring and professional staff I have ever met, both to my father, myself and family.
My father passed peacefully with love, care and dignity and for that, I will be forever grateful.

I really cannot praise Cherry Blossom enough. There are not enough words to say how wonderful this place has been for my Dad in the final months of his life. Both myself and my Dad have been treated with the utmost respect, kindness, love and dignity. The staff have all been amazing. His room and bed
made a perfect haven and all of his needs have been attended to without delay. If I ever find myself needing care then this is the place I would choose to be. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

After a poor experience from another care home provider, we contacted Cherry Blossom Manor. They reassured us that they could meet Dad's needs and that whatever happened they could manage. They were true to their word. He spent six months at Cherry Blossom Manor and settled in quickly. The standards
of care are exceptional. There is a very relaxed feeling to the care home and the staff are very friendly with nothing being too much trouble.
Unfortunately, Dad passed away recently. We asked that CBM manage his needs as he did not want to go to hospital unless absolutely unavoidable. Throughout his final days, the nursing team were amazing along with all of the staff team. Not only did they give wonderful care to Dad but they were also very supportive to his family. I would highly recommend CBM.

Most of the time the staff are very good with the care and attention given to my husband. They are usually cheerful and considerate. There has, however, been the odd occasion when there was an incident that left my husband having a fall and unable to press his falls alarm due to the fact it was up on
the wall out of his reach.

We cannot thank Cherry Blossom and all the wonderful staff enough. We always felt welcomed and very much appreciated the care and support both my mother and we received during a difficult and emotional time.
The home itself is delightful - light, airy, well/thoughtfully decorated with artefacts and
pictures.
Staff are amazing, caring, smiling, patient people who make my mother feel happy, settled and cared for.

My father arrived at Cherry Blossom Manor at very short notice in April 2019, he has late-stage vascular dementia.
After the initial settling in, issues he has now established a simple daily routine and seems content with his new life/home at Cherry Blossom Manor.
He has made friends with other residents,
joined in sing-a-longs and has been on a day trip. There are other regular daily activities he has yet to sample. The friendly staff are always on hand to talk to him and help with day to day tasks such as washing/shaving/dressing/eating hi meals. He is well thought of by the staff who look after him.
I am happy my father is in a safe and caring environment and am pleased with the level of care he is currently receiving.

I have been coming to work with my Mum(Ali Mather, Home Administrator)since I was only 12 weeks old. Due to this, I love people, fuss & yummy snacks. I used to help deliver the newspapers to the Residents but now my legs aren't as good as they were I potter around to visit them in my own sweet time.
