My mum had the privilege of being at Barchester Cherry Blossom Manor for about five months. Her care was excellent and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful and caring. It is a beautiful place, more like a five-star hotel.

Thank you to all the wonderful staff who have cared for my mother. The last year has been hard for everyone and I am grateful to visit my mum today. The staff are wonderful to my mum and it helps ease the pain of not having been out to see our loved one during the pandemic. am grateful and indebted

My cousin wasn't here for long and during the pandemic, we were unable to visit but we found the staff very helpful on the phone. They kept us well informed me my cousin's state a were sympathetic concerning her and our needs. We were informed almost immediately when she died and facilitated the necessary
steps to be taken we didn't visit the home.

From the moment of having POA of my nan, I have complete trust in Cherry Blossom and all the staff. The communication is fantastic. My nan loves her environment and has always spoken highly of her home and second family. Although my nan's needs have changed, I know she is still well looked after, communication
via phone, email, Zoom and post continues to reassure me and photos show me that, even in these difficult Covid times, nothing changes.

My husband has regular respite care at Cherry Blossom Manor. He is always greeted in a friendly manner and treated with respect although he is only there for short periods the staff make every effort to include him in activities and are sensitive to his needs and make every effort with care and communication
as he has Aphasia.

Generally, care is good, residents are clean and well-fed. Little things are missed ensuring hair is well brushed as residents like it is hit and miss. Clothes tend to look 'thrown on' in those who are very dependent. My own relative has complained regularly over 4 years that night staff are rough in
their handling (no hint of maliciousness) oral care is poor.
The staff deserve a monetary bonus for containing the one case of Covid-19 and preventing any external infection entering 1st class.

During the lockdown, it was easy to book a pm telephone call to my friend, which reassured us both. later, in good weather, this home had a beautiful garden for us to book a distance meeting. I now look forward to the activities coordinator to write 'dictated shopping' from my friend, in the stamped,

The care given to my parents during such a difficult time with the COVID-19 pandemic has been outstanding. The staff on Silchester have been wonderfully dedicated, kind, and patient throughout the lockdown, even while working in such uncomfortable conditions. From the minute I walked into Cherry Blossom I knew if my mum had to go into a care home it would be this one, you feel the warmth of the staff, they are amazing, nothing ever is too much trouble. They treated my mum with love, care and dignity, they gave me my mum back, I can never thank them enough.
They told me they treat the residents like family and they really do. Cherry Blossom should be a 'model' for the perfect home.

On admission day we were welcomed in a nice and pleasant way. The room was prepared in a very welcoming way too. The staff from the manager, health care assistants and the auxiliary staff were excellent. My mother-in-law felt at home. The care as excellent and the staff very caring and understanding.
I have a list of praise for all the staff. Overall I will recommend anybody to use this home for their care. Well done.

I feel that my mother is very safe which is very reassuring for me. She now has company 24 hours a day, which she did not have when she lived alone. The staff at Cherry Blossom Manor are all very caring and nothing is too much for them to do. They are very helpful and understanding and I would recommend

I have been coming to work with my Mum(Ali Mather, Home Administrator)since I was only 12 weeks old. Due to this, I love people, fuss & yummy snacks. I used to help deliver the newspapers to the Residents but now my legs aren't as good as they were I potter around to visit them in my own sweet time.
