A comfortable care home with a lovely atmosphere and staff. A good understanding of dementia care.

The home in which my mother is a resident has excellent carers and we are happy with her care.

There is a good local doctor who has a good relationship with the home, this enables good care by the surgery and care home.

My mum moved into Buckingham Lodge straight from the hospital. She has improved so much already with the great care and attention from the nurses. The first day she was out of bed and sitting in the chair and the following day walking a few steps with a frame. The nurses always have time to talk to you and the home has a lovely warm and friendly feel. Everything is bright clean and modern.

I can't praise you enough Buckingham Lodge - Thank you.

My mother is well cared for. Her room is warm and homely, cleaned regularly although her table could be better- it has been replaced since Christmas but still always seems to be sticky (I realise she spills things etc but a daily wipe would be good!) The staff are very helpful and supportive and there are activities on offer although mum usually chooses not to take part. I am not yet convinced on the hairdresser- having spoken to the manager I reserve judgement! Overall happy with the care mum gets.

Carers and nurses are attentive and responsive. Quite a high staff turnaround over 10 months Mum has been here. She is profoundly deaf and they treat her kindly and sympathetically.

I am generally satisfied with the level of care provided for my father. Now that he is settled within the care home environment, many of my previous worries and concerns have been removed from daily life.

My father has been in Buckingham Lodge for over one year and has been very well cared for in all the time he has been there. The staff are always polite and cheerful no matter what the problem is. My father has been in hospital and has gone back to the home and unfortunately has not been too well, but the staff have been attentive at all times to both myself, my family and of course my father. I cannot praise the staff enough.
