My mum is well cared for here. The staff are all friendly, welcoming and informative. My mum has taken a while to settle and caused a few headaches for other residents due to her advanced dementia but on the whole, I think the staff are understanding and accommodating.

My mum was as happy as could be, she had a stroke and couldn't get out of bed, the staff were very kind and caring we felt very comfortable there. We always found her room, kitchen area and communal lounge clean, warm and welcoming.

Since day one this care home has been brilliant. Everyone has been kind, helpful and caring; such friendly staff make life a little nicer at this very difficult time. I cannot fault the care my husband has had in any way. Everything seems to be run very efficiently. The food is great, the home is very well maintained, lovely gardens. The entertainment is lovely too. All residents seem to be shown great care and attention. First rate!

I have to give all credit to the staff for helping my husband to settle in so quickly. Their caring attitude, friendly approach and, with a dose of humour, encouraged him to relax into his new situation. They also carry out his daily dialysis and spend time talking to him. I am very grateful to all for making a difficult time so much easier.

Mum moved to Ashley Court just over two years ago. All the staff are friendly and welcoming.
Everyone knows Mum by name regardless of where they are based, be it in the kitchen, laundry, housekeeping or the carers/nursing staff on each floor.

It's good to see such a great team all pulling together.

My brother is gravely ill with Pulmonary Fibrosis and after a long stay in hospital has been transferred into Ashley Court. The whole experience from before his move when everything was explained clearly through the move, settling in and the care he is getting now has been excellent. The staff are professional, but more importantly, caring and kind.

In 4 years of care I have nothing but positive things to say. The staff are impressive with attention and care of my mother. The food is excellent with a variety of choice. The home always is clean and smells good. When minor issues have risen, they have been addressed promptly with respect for concern.

As homes go, having investigated prior to having my mother in Ashley Court, I was grateful it was recommended to me.

My mum has been a resident in Ashley Court Care Home for 2 years. I feel the quality of care and management of the home have improved over recent months. The nursing staff have a good understanding of mum's care and support needs and of her likes and dislikes. They follow up concerns we have as a family very quickly. All her care plans and risk assessments are up to date and regularly reviewed.

In the past, we have had concerns about my mum's clothes and belongings not being well looked after/going missing but this is no longer the case. Mum's quality of life would be improved further if staff had a little time to support her to go out in the garden or spend some time in her room. This currently does not happen and adds to the restrictions on her.

There really aren't enough words in the English language to adequately describe the incredible care that my father received here.

The nursing staff are attentive, kind, caring, understanding, considerate and passionate about what they do. They were always gentle, loving and truly wonderful people.

The administrative staff are so, so helpful, so understanding and so kind.

Each and every single one of the care staff treated my father with the dignity, kindness and consideration they would have no-doubt shown their own father.

I really could not have asked for anything else from these wonderful people. You don't often get to witness pure human kindness like this and it's truly transformative to know that it still exists.

My husband suffers from Parkinson's disease and has lived at Ashley Court for two years. the home is a pleasant environment for me to visit him regularly. It is well maintained inside and communal rooms have large windows which create good light and panoramic views of ground and beyond. The staff are friendly and supportive to us as a family, offering flexibility with meals and personal care, which allows us to take him out when health and weather conditions permit. Overall, despite this extremely frustrating illness, Ashley fulfils our needs very well.

My brother is in the home under palliative care. He has a GBM4 aggressive, untreatable brain tumour. The home and its staff have given us the knowledge that our brother is safe and pain-free. 24 hours per day during his final weeks. Although we have been spending many hours every day with our brother (there are only 3 of us siblings) the home care has allowed us to do some normal things like shopping and eating.

Took a little while to settle in but now feel settled in so much and consider it home. If it wasn't for the help from my sister and all the staff at Ashley Court I believe I wouldn't be here now. I have made some goods friends here and I am very content. I have regained my confidence since living here.
