I am eternally grateful for the tender love and care that is given to my mum by all the staff. It was a pleasure to speak with the manager who speaks fondly of my mum. Since the manager joined the team last year there has been a huge improvement all around at Seagrave House and there is an amazing team in place.
Thank you for taking the time to review Seagrave House Care Home. We are so grateful for the lovely review; we will always have the fondest memories of your mum, who brought us great joy and laughter; she had such a great sense of humour and will never be forgotten at Seagrave House.
All the staff at Seagrave House Care Home go above and beyond. Always a smiling face to greet us and the standard of care for my mum is second to none, we know she is in safe hands.

This was the first time we had visited from the moment you walk in there is a feeling of warmth, homeliness and general well-being. The premises is like a quality all-inclusive holiday resort. The staff from cleaners through to manager are genuinely caring and loving. It is a place I could not recommend highly enough. The person we visited is so happy living there. If either my wife or I ever need care then Seagrave House is the one for us.

She suffers from Alzheimer's, and struggles to properly care for herself but still has the desire to feel independent. It was a big family decision to move her into a Residential Care Home but have to say that she could not be in a better place now.
She has fitted in quickly and enjoys mixing with both staff and residents. Staff work very hard attending to everyone's needs in a very friendly and caring manner.
My aunt happily feels part of the Seagrave House "family" now.
Her room and the ensuite toilet and shower room are perfect and overall the standard of all facilities in Seagrave House is top quality.
There are good varied meal options and the creative kitchen will try to satisfy everyone's tastes.
There are also plenty of activities to do - something for everyone.
In summary, I would find it hard to criticise anything at Seagrave House. It's better than we could have imagined.

Good team effort in the home. Both Mum and Dad love it here. The staff are amazing, always going over and above. Would always recommend this home, Seagrave House.
Thank you for taking the time to review Segrave House Care Home. We are delighted to hear how satisfied you are with the care both of your parents receive here. It is a true pleasure to care for them and have them as part of our loving community. I will be sure to pass on your positive feedback to the rest of our team. Best Wishes.
The staff member at reception asked the manager if she could have a word with us; the manager was busy but said she would be available in 15 minutes. The receptionist showed us around. I was totally impressed by everything from the staff, cleanliness, activities, decor, gardens and security.
They were both so lovely. My aunt went into Seagrave House, and I could not believe the change in her. From not wanting to eat, she was now eating three courses. She tells me, "it's more like living in a hotel rather than a care home, and they are all so lovely here, they can't do enough for you".
They clean her room, change her bed, do her laundry, give her medication and keep her safe. When we visit, she no longer gets embarrassed watching us clean her house.
I want to thank all the staff for their kindness and compassion shown to my aunt, and hope this review helps others make a difficult decision easier.

Her health care plan was for her to receive palliative care in the home. As a family, we were so happy we made this decision; the care has always been outstanding, but during her last few days, the staff, from the manager to her carers, went over and above to ensure my mum's passing was as comfortable and loving as possible.
Not only did they look after Mum, but they also looked after us, ensuring we were fed by their amazing cook, and we were supplied with comfortable chairs, duvets, pillows and bed linen to make our time with Mum as comfortable as possible.
If Mum needed to be changed, they were there immediately; she was always clean and comfortable, and the care was just exceptional.
As a family, we cannot thank them enough; they made such a difficult time so much easier, and they are all heroes to us.
Thank you for taking the time to review Seagrave House Care Home in Corby. I will be sure to pass your heartfelt kind words on to the rest of the team. We always strive to ensure that everyone's wishes are met at this especially difficult time and are so pleased to hear that you felt supported by our staff team. My mum moved into Seagrave House in February 2022, and they have been amazing with her. The manager is so lovely, and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We, as a family, are so happy our mum is at Seagrave House. I would definitely recommend this home.

I am grateful to the staff and management of Seagrave House for the care, respect and support they give to Mum. It has, at times, been challenging for them, and I am very appreciative of their patience and professionalism. As a family, we are reassured that Mum is receiving the very best of care, she is content and always well cared for. We are kept informed and updated, and communication with the home is excellent. Thank you, Seagrave House!

Our dedicated staff go above the standards daily to ensure all residents receive an exceptional level of care. We look forward to seeing you on your next visit. Best wishes.
A relative of mine was recently admitted to Seagrave House. I just wanted to take the time to appreciate how fantastic the staff have been during the transition from home to residential care. The care home manager was wonderful with family concerns regarding the move and put everyone's minds at ease. We, as a family, have been amazed at the difference in our relatives in such a short space of time. Thank you.
We have a dedicated highly trained team here at Seagrave...
My nana's admission to Seagrave was very last minute due to the nature of her health. The staff have been nothing short of amazing. The manager was so accommodating and helpful, putting my grandad's mind at ease. She is incredible at what she does. On move-in day, the way she dealt with my nana was so respectful and kind, it made a very hard decision easy. The improvement that my nana has made since moving in is incredible, and I am so incredibly grateful. One lady has been incredible with getting my nana to come out of her shell and keeping us updated. Three other ladies have been so helpful and kind when we have had questions, nothing is too much to ask. This is the best decision we have made as a family. I look forward to the home opening up fully so that we can get to know all of the lovely staff even more. Thank you, Seagrave.
Thank you for taking the time to review Seagrave House, and I’m glad that you found the admission process smooth. We take great pride in the admission process, and I’m glad your experience as a family was accommodating, not just for your grandmother but your grandfather too, who we have all grown...

It is a true pleasure to have your mum living with us as part of our loving, caring community. Best wishes.
Although I have rated everything excellent, I am aware there has been a few problems at the care home, ie short of staff and all staff being immunised against Covid-19. But in saying that, I have always had an excellent impression whenever I have visited and have always praised the home when talking to anyone. The most important thing for me is my sister is very happy there. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for reviewing Seagrave Care Home. We are delighted to hear how satisfied you are with our home. It is a pleasure to have your sister as part of our loving care community, and we look to welcoming you on your next visit. Best Wishes.
It has been difficult to give a true assessment because of the COVID restrictions. I have only seen my mother on a few occasions in the past year. From what I have seen and heard she is being treated well.
Thank you for reviewing Seagrave Care Home. We understand how difficult the past year has been for us all, however, now that restrictions have eased, we are delighted to welcome you back into our home for regular, safe visiting. Best Wishes.
The staff I have met since Mum has lived at Seagrave have been amazing! So kind and loving towards her. I feel that she is getting extremely good care. She is always clean and today, but I can't wait to go back into her room to clear out some of her old clothes now.

Due to Covid restrictions, this is only my second visit inside Seagrave. The Covid testing and guidelines are being followed well. One gentleman is always polite and friendly.
Thank you for taking the time to review Seagrave House Care Home. The safety of our residents has always been a priority in our home, and our highly trained team strictly follow our stringent COVID-19 protocols to ensure this. We look forward to inviting you for more regular visits now that lockdown restrictions are beginning to ease. Best wishes.
It is difficult to give a fair review at present as Covid restrictions mean that I have been able to visit Mum only once within her own room. As far as I can tell, Seagrave House is warm and comfortable, with all the home from home comforts I would hope for. Mum has dementia and is unable to express herself as before, but she appears to be as content as possible in her condition. I sense that she enjoys the company of staff and fellow residents alike. When trying to ring Mum, I find it frustrating that the staff are frequently unable to connect me, as Mum's room is too far away for a decent phone connection. There are often other connection issues too. Again, this perhaps would not be such a problem in 'normal' times. The staff members I have spoken to, and those I've met, are always most friendly, and very gentle and caring with Mum. All in all, I feel happy with her care, and where I have marked 'satisfactory', I am unable to be more specific because of present restrictions.
I can only apologise regarding the...
My mum has been in Seagrave House for only six weeks, and because of Covid guidelines, I am not allowed into all areas of the home. However, I have visited several times to the garden pod. I have also visited Mum inside the visitor's room, and I have been pleased each time. Mum is chatty and content. She says the food is good. The staff I have met have been lovely, friendly and professional.
Thank you for taking the time to review Seagrave House Care Home and for your lovely feedback. Our highly trained staff team go over and above the standards to ensure every resident feels welcome/at home in the loving community that we create. We are delighted to hear that your mother has quickly settled into her new surroundings; it is a pleasure to have her staying with us. Best wishes.
My mother is a resident at Seagrave House and is very happy there. The staff are wonderful, the food is excellent, and the care the residents receive is second to none. I have always been kept informed of Mum's health. I really cannot praise the staff too highly. A wonderful, clean environment. Mum has been there for four years now, and we have never needed to complain. A wonderful place!
Thank you for taking the time to review Seagrave House Care Home and for your kind words. We are so delighted to hear how satisfied you are with our home and the exceptional care that your mother has received. Our housekeeping team take great pleasure in providing a clean, safe environment for all our residents to live in. Best wishes.
The family have been happy and confident that Mum was being cared for in a safe and secure environment. We feel that she was being cared for and looked after very well, which was a comfort to us through this difficult time. Thank you all.
Thank you for taking the time to review Seagrave House Care Home and for your lovely feedback. Your kind words are invaluable to us, and our staff team will be delighted to hear this. Best wishes Rachel.
