I have been visiting St Michael's regularly twice a week for 8 months. In all that time, I have been very impressed with all the staff and the care they give to all the residents. Everyone is very friendly and keeps you well informed.

I am over the moon with the care at St Michael's Court for my wife. The care staff on the nursing floor are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble for any member of staff. Five stars!!! My profession was hospitality and I can honestly say I have no negative comments at all.

My mother was in hospital for eight weeks, then became a resident at the Runwood St Michael's Court Care Home for nine weeks, during which time her health improved to a level to enable her to move in and live with me.
I found the manager approachable, helpful and guiding through the process and also found the same high standard in the staff employed there.

The food is excellent and well presented, with music played and activities. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean with a maintenance and laundry service. My mother has been treated with dignity and it has been a comfort to know how well she has been looked after and that the family were welcome anytime to visit her and on occasions, take her out. Thanks to all at St Michael's Court.

The care home were very caring and thoughtful both to my relative and family who visited her.

Although not looking forward to going into care, she settled within the first week.

St Michael's Court is a very friendly place. My friend was there for less than 2 weeks. It is so clean. We felt that staff should have popped in more, giving her a drink.

During the stay of my dad, I found all the staff to be polite and very professional. I was very pleased with the level of care he received while he was there. The information I received from the staff was delivered with a caring professional way. On the passing of my dad, the staff provided me with a very high level of support. Thank you

My husband has been a resident in the dementia unit at St Michael's Court for over 2 and a half years. Obviously, it was very hard for him at the start but due to the care and kindness of the staff, he has gradually settled. His room is light and airy and always very clean as is the wet room. He has a television and plenty of shelf space for pictures of the family. In the time he has been at St Michael's Court, I have only had two concerns which were dealt with at once. My admiration for the staff (some of them really young) is immense. Whilst it isn't what we would have liked for him, the care and kindness shown to him, also me, is a great comfort.

A very well designed and managed home. The staff are very hard-working and caring. My mother always felt safe and was treated with affection and respect right up to the end. Communication was also very good and staff always had time to speak to me, an excellent establishment which made my mother's last few months as comfortable as possible.

My aunt moved into St Michael's Court just under 3 years ago. I cannot praise highly enough the care and friendship she received. She never had a complaint and indeed often said (I didn't know places like this existed!) The care right up to her death at the grand old age of 95 was exemplary. My aunt's son and I are extremely grateful for the care given to her and for the happy years she spent at St Michael's Court.

My mum was at St Michael's Court for 4 years and 2 months. Originally she went for 2 weeks respite and she liked it so much, she asked if she could be there permanently. Sadly she passed away on New Years Day. The staff on the middle floor treated my mum with dignity right until the end. I can't thank them enough. I just feel they all went "the extra mile".

My Mother suffered from Alzheimer's dementia and after visiting several local care providers I chose St Michael's Court in Aylsham for her care. She was in the home for just over two years before she passed away at the age of 100. I cannot praise the quality of care she received highly enough. All the staff were caring and attentive and did their very best to provide activities every day. If there was ever a problem with Mum they would call me immediately and let me know what was going on. Right up until the end, when she passed away in the home I could not fault the service provided.

Me and my mother had a meeting with the new management concerning my father. The new team are absolutely brilliant. The manager is so down to earth and approachable that we feel we could talk to her about anything and at any time. She has given us all her contact details and told us her door is always open.

She has only been there 4 weeks and has already turned the place around and had dealt with our issues already.

From the care team manager to the care workers, all who work extremely hard, each person treated mum with kindness and respect. Mum was bedbound and so the care team became her second family. I know she really enjoyed chatting to them. The management team are strong with a lot of experience and are always available if you want to discuss anything. The home is modern, purpose built and beautifully fitted out. Mum sadly passed away during September at St Michael's Court which is where she wanted to end her days. We received tremendous support from the home during this difficult time. I will never forget standing in the corridor with some of the staff, they were in tears and I realised just how much they care for their residents. Staff working on different floors came down to say goodbye to mum which was very touching. The support of the care home manager at the end was exceptional and made a big difference to my sister and I. Mum was so happy there and for that, we are hugely grateful.

Finding a permanent residential placement for a family member is an extremely difficult decision and we consider ourselves extremely fortunate that St Michael's Court were able to accommodate our Mother. My husband works for an ambulance service and was familiar with the facilities. Therefore this was the only home that we were willing to consider due to its high standards, facilities and welcoming staff. The manager and staff have been extremely supportive and helpful, making the process as smooth as possible for our Mother and us.

The care team at St Michaels work very hard and show great kindness to try and meet the needs of each resident. The management are very open and approachable , actively encouraging residents families to give feedback on their care. They take a highly accommodating approach to individual needs and preferences. My father is on the residential floor and has a lovely sunny room with French doors opening onto the garden. There are activities for those who choose to join in, but equally quiet spaces for people who prefer their own space. All the staff are good and some are truly wonderful.
