Dearne Hall is a lovely care home. My mother has been here for nearly eighteen months. She settled in very well due the friendliness and care of ALL the staff. They look after her very well and with her dementia they know the things she likes and dislikes. There are weekly activities and trips out which my mother lives. She has made some great friends.

Dearne Hall is a very good care home with dedicated staff from top to bottom. It's the perfect place for my mother

My mum lived at Dearne Hall for the last 3 years of her life. She had nothing but praise for all the staff and care, kindness and fun she received. Nothing was too much trouble. Everything she needed or wanted was available for her. The home is very clean and beautiful surroundings. Meals are plentiful and she enjoyed most of them. There is a varied social programme for the residents, visiting entertainers, arts and crafts, quizzes, and exercise sessions. I can't praise the medical and nursing care given to her, especially during the later stages of her life.

The home is an excellent home where the care delivered is to an excellent standard. Management are so approachable and are really caring both to the residents and relatives. During times of distress management and staff go the extra mile to support and reassure relatives. It is like a big family where you feel the care & calm environment. I am really chose Dearne Hall. Thank you so much.

Mum has been bedbound for a long time. The dementia has worsened and she is sometimes very disengaged. Nevertheless, all the care (and auxiliary) staff I have met try their very best to make Mum feel safe and well cared for. They are cheerful, chatty and put resident care at the front their priorities. The management are approachable, helpful and reassuring. I feel very confident leaving Mum in their care.

When walking into the home it was warm and inviting. The admin and home manager welcomed me in straight away with smiles on their faces. When I went to see my family friend she looks so well in herself and happy and comfortable and has nothing but good things to say about the home and has a great funny/for endly relationship with the staff.

All the staff including the deputy manager, domestics, maintenance are so happy and welcoming and makes the home run smoothly.

My mum has been a resident at the care home for about 3 months. The duty of care is more than excellent. My mum's health has improved, she has gained weight. She now has a few friends who are lovely and kind to her. The staff are amazing, and they can't do enough for my mum and family. I would highly recommend Dearne Hall Care Home.

I cannot praise the team at Dearne Hall highly enough. The level of care and dignity shown to the residents far exceeds good. Nothing is ever too much trouble and time is taken to know each resident on a personal level. Since my Dad moved in the difference it has made can't be underestimated. My Sister and I are no longer worried about his safety and all round care. The team understand him and the added personal touches make all the difference to both Dad and us. It was a difficult decision to put Dad into full time care, but the team here have 100 % made us realise he is in the best place with the best care possible. I cannot thank each and everyone of them enough for everything they do, far and away they go above and beyond everyday.

The carers and management aree friendly and caring, nothing is too much for them to help or explain any questions you ask. It is lovely and clean and always trying to get residents to join in activities. My mum was in as respite, but is now permanent. Would highly recommend Dearne Hall 100%.

Had my dad in for respite after a fall at his home. What can I say about Dearne hall. All staff were fantastic with my dad and helped him with all his needs and care whilst he was helped get his confidence back home.
He enjoyed joining in with activities whilst he was there and having fun with the staff and other residents.
I thought he was looked after 100% and wouldn't hesitate having him stay there permanently when the time come .

Keep up the excellent work guys!

I have experienced care and kindness as a 'respite' resident. I have grown to admire their hard work. Has been good to get to know the other residents too. It has been a welcome few weeks in my recovery from three hip operations.

I cannot praise the home and staff enough for the care given to my dad. From the 1st meeting we were made to feel comfortable. Everything was explained to us. We felt staff listened to our concerns about leaving our dad in their care, we were given time to go through Dad's likes and dislikes. They spoke to Dad despite his dementia and included him in the conversation. When visiting the home, the one reasuring thing was that no matter which member of staff we spoke to they could tell us what kind of day dad had had. All staff were friendly but profesisonal, they always had time for you. Dad enjoyed his stay in the home, and we would not hesitate to take him again for respite and permanent care if this was in his best interest. We want to say thank you to all staff, we were very grateful for their care and support in what was a difficult time for us as family.

My mother has been in Dearne Hall Care Home for 18 months and has received the best care you could wish for. From the moment we looked round and saw how clean, modern and organised the home was we knew that it was the right place for Mum. She has loved the activities such as, going to a pub for lunch, visiting a local garden centre, a day at the seaside plus fish n chips, games day including playing table tennis and many many more. Mum made new friends and loved the carers. We would fully recommend Dearne Hall Care Home.

Those on the floor I visited were particularly helpful, happy and couldn't do enough for us. The knowledge they had of their residents was amazing. They were very understanding and respectful. They have such a tough job (one I could not fathom doing myself), and she acted above and beyond. Every staff member I met was courteous and helpful. The facilities were clean, well kept and simply stunning. Each resident appeared to be very well cared for.

Dearne Hall Care Home is a very friendly place. I always feel welcome when I visit my friend. Everyone is so helpful and supportive and any questions or requests are listened to and responded to straight away. It's been difficult for my friend to make the move into a care home but all the staff have made it easy for her to settle. I know that she is getting the best care possible.
