Dearne Hall is a contemporary residential and dementia care home located in the heart of the Bolton-upon-Dearne community. It continues to welcome new residents for respite and permanent care. The home is operated by Anchor and provides residential care and care for older people living with dementia, which is personally tailored to meet the individual needs of customers and enhance their quality of life.
The home is purpose-built and each of the 48 bedrooms provide comfortable surroundings, with the benefit of an en-suite wet room. The home has the benefit of a tea room area and other facilities. The care team works with customers and their loved ones to create detailed care plans to ensure each individual’s health and care needs are continually met. Anchor provides on-going training to care staff to ensure their approach always reflects best practice.

Dearne Hall is a lovely care home. The staff are simply amazing. Not only do they provide the best care for my mum, but they understand and support how difficult it is for me and my dad. It is a clean, warm and friendly home. I feel like one of the family when I am here.

The staff are amazing and my husband had excellent personal care there for 11 months. However, the owners do not employ an activities coordinator and whether a resident is at early or late-stage dementia residents do require stimulation. I've moved him into a home that does provide daily...
The staff are amazing and my husband had excellent personal care there for 11 months. However, the owners do not employ an activities coordinator and whether a resident is at early or late-stage dementia residents do require stimulation. I've moved him into a home that does provide daily stimulation and it's the best move I made. Dearne Hall is pricey too in comparison to others. This wouldn't have been an issue if activities occurred on a daily basis. A little niggle was that one wardrobe door was missing throughout his stay which was reported to The Manager on more than one occasion.
