Dad has been a resident for just over a year. In that time he has been very well cared for. The home always has plenty going on and the residents are never short of activities. A very clean, well-run home that is always a welcoming place to come. The staff that I have dealt with regularly have all been brilliant.

My mother arrived at Heather Grange for palliative care and the end stage of her life. Everybody at Heather Grange was so welcoming and put my whole family and Mum at ease straight away, which made the whole process easier to deal with. The whole atmosphere is great, and staff were supportive and always treated my mum with dignity and respect.

My grandmother was at Heather Grane for a short amount of time. However, was very well looked after at the end of her life. Music was playing, and the staff were very caring. My grandmother was comfortable. I can't thank the staff enough for their wonderful care.

It was with much sadness and a feeling of guilt we were advised that our lovely mum would require 24-hour care, so the search began. Thankfully we came across Heather Grange. Mum's needs have been addressed and met from day one. Our mum had stopped eating properly before moving to Heather Grange. Now she eats exceptionally well and is always clean and comfortable. The care home and her room are exceptionally clean and she enjoys the entertainment and activities provided. Most of all the staff are kind and caring to both Mum and her family, treating Mum with dignity and respect always.

Mum required full-time care, due to her deteriorating condition (mixed dementia), from February 2020.
Heather Grange is a warm, caring, comfortable and safe care home.
The entire staff are amazing. It is a very happy place, with lots of daily activities for residents to join in with.
Mum especially enjoys the singing and dancing afternoons with the entertainment officers, which is a 'live' on Facebook event. Thank you both.
The carers have kept me updated throughout the Coronvirus pandemic, due to us being unable to visit.
Now that visiting has opened again, it is fantastic seeing Mum, and to see the staff too.

Thank you all.

My mother has been a resident at Heather Grange since 2015 and always received excellent care when required. However, in the last few months her care needs increased dramatically, the staff at Heather Grange provided a very high degree of care and professionalism when she most needed it. A big thanks to everyone involved.

My Mum has been a resident at Heather Grange Woodlands suite for the last four years and throughout that time she has been very happy. All the staff are kind, friendly, and humorous. My Mum's room and the rest of the home is always exceptionally clean. The carers have always been most attentive to my Mum, particularly towards the end of my mother's life. They made the last few weeks comfortable and peaceful for my Mum.

Assisted the entertainment manager to take my Mum out to catch up with her friends for her birthday. I cannot do this without help as Mum is in a wheelchair. It was a lovely hour. Mum really enjoyed it and the staff member was great, helping Mum feel relaxed, happy and safe. Mum's friends were really grateful for his help and hope to see her again soon.

I cannot fault the care my father receives at Heather Grange. Despite suffering from dementia and being almost totally deaf, the staff treat him with dignity and show him kindness and patience. When visiting, I am always impressed with the level of care the dementia residents receive. The staff are kind, caring and patient. Thank you for all that you do.

This home is 1st class and you notice that from the moment you enter. There’s always a happy smiling face from the office to greet you and this continues throughout the building. Everywhere you go staff take the time to say hello and make you feel welcome. The people living in the home are well cared for and it’s nice to see them looking so content and happy. My friend that lives here says she couldn’t have found a greater place to live. At the time of my review, there isn’t a Manager but my friend and I feel confident that we can speak to the Deputy Manager as she seems very proactive and is always willing to listen and offer any help or advice when needed. Well done you should be proud of this lovely home that you are running!

My mother moved into Heather Grange in February 2019, needing additional care due to dementia. Through a very challenging time, it has been made so much better especially with the support from the Admin, Assistant Manager, Team Leader and the Senior Care Assistant who I initially met on my first unannounced visit. All have provided me with invaluable support to both me and my mother.
Things moved quickly and I was supported throughout from the initial assessment at my mother's house to moving in.
Initially, she found it hard to settle and all relevant health support was provided for Mum's re-assessments.
After a couple of months, Mum is starting to settle and enjoyed her evening this week in the entertainment lounge. How wonderful it was to see her tapping her feet and singing and even managing two little dances. A huge weight has been lifted from me to seeing her settle and more content.

I cannot recommend highly enough.

This place is marvellous and it makes me happy that every time I visit my nan she is always smiling. The environment is the nicest I’ve seen for a care home and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The Deputy Manager is very approachable and takes time to listen, we didn’t have this kind of support in my nans last home.

My father resided at Heather Grange for nearly two years. It is a beautiful environment. It is exceptionally clean and bright and the menu is varied and the food is beautifully presented. But what makes a care home is the people. Dad has always been treated with dignity and compassion. In the past care homes have struggled with the behaviour that sometimes accompanied his condition of dementia, but the staff at Heather Grange have never seen that as an issue. In the last week of his life, I spent most of my time at the home. They cared for me as if I was a member of their family. I saw the staff at all hours of the day and night and they were always compassionate and professional. The home may be beautiful, but it is the carers and key workers, cleaning staff, kitchen staff, housekeeping staff, office staff, chaplain and activities co-ordinators that give the home a warm heart. I recommend Heather Grange most highly and I am privileged that my Dad spent his last days there.

My sister in law is staying at Heather Grange for respite care after surgery. She has stayed at one other care home for the same reason in the past and Heather Grange is so much more comfortable and pleasant. The staff are superb - warm, caring, attentive, energetic. The physical facility is attractive and bright and I especially like the fact that the building is organized so that people are in small communities of 14 people or so, each with their own comfortable lounge/dining room. The coffee bar staffed by a delightful ‘hostess’ is a brilliant gathering place for residents and guests. The activities director is a treasure and so effective at getting everyone engaged, laughing and talking.

My step-father recently passed away in Heather Grange.

The nursing care he received in his later stages was second to none. He was so looked after.

The staff both days and nights showed lots of compassion and his dignity was paramount.

The pastor offered us, as a family, full pastoral care and also took part in his funeral with compassion and dignity.
