All the staff on all levels cleaners, care workers, activities, reception and management have been very supportive over the past few months when my nan has been in and out of hospital sometimes due to workload but manage really well. Briarscroft Care Home is a bright happy place and everyone is always made to feel welcome. Communication of "little" things could be better but this is a minor issue.

We are really pleased we transferred Mom from another care home to Briarscroft Residential Care Home. She has been happier and healthier since she moved here. Her accommodation, food and general care is much better. There also seems to be more activities to which she sometimes participates in. So we are pleased with everything at the moment.

The manager and her staff are providing first class care for my mother as she nears the end of her life (aged 100) My mother has been in Briarscroft since the home opened, and she has been very happy here.

The manager has made many improvements to the running of the home and I commend her for her hard work and for the way she has developed many of the staff. My mother's carers are doing a great job.

Briarscroft is warm and welcoming. The staff are kind, friendly, helpful, obliging and considerate. For my mother, it is her home. She has settled in beautifully and it is a huge reassurance to know that she has a great quality of life in a safe environment.

As visitors, we are also made to feel welcome and part of the family, it is a joy to come here! A real home from home.

My mother has been a resident in Briarscroft Care Home since September 2014, she suffers from dementia. Briarscroft has the understanding of my mother's illness, this then ensures my mother receives the care and attention required and offered, meaning she has a good quality of life and the safety and security she requires and deserves. Thank you Briarscroft team from the family.

After a few months of faults the above home is now very good, the manager has sorted a great deal of things, she is someone who gets to the bottom of all problems and is very approachable. The staff she has do well 90% of the time but a few do let her down and it has a knock on effect. The chefs are good and staff are very kind to the residents and take good care of them.

My mother is perfectly happy and content with the care home and staff who are most kind to her. The food service and accommodation is to be recommended. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff.

Mom has now been at the home for six months and in that time she has improved in every way. She is very happy and contented, she has company and in her own words "nothing to worry about at all". She talks about her carers as friends and that is how they are with her.

When she was at home, old, frail and vulnerable, we used to hate leaving her but now, knowing she is in such good hands, we ourselves have "nothing to worry about at all".

We spent a lot of time researching care homes and we really found a gem when we found Briarscroft.

Overall very nice home, caring staff and good levels of care. My only criticism is the residents just sitting in a chair most of the day with very little stimulation. My mother has said on many occasions that she is bored. She is not the only resident to say this.

Thank you for review, we are really pleased that you would be extremely likely to recommend us. We are excited to have recently recruited a replacement activities person who is working hard to provide a variety of activities for our residents to enjoy both now and in the future. Best wishes Care Home Manager Rubina Choudhury.

My brother, sister and I were very worried about mum having to go into a home and we viewed several before deciding we wanted her to go to Briarscroft, from that moment on the Staff have been fantastic first helping us with the process and then looking after mum so well. Mum has improved significantly since staying here and she is always happy when I visit. I have had excellent dealings with all the staff who cannot do enough to make sure mum is happy and well cared for. Mum also has nothing but praise for the food.
